Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could recommend a clinic or somewhere similar for a full systemic checkup? I’ve got some cysts on my kidneys, I’m constantly dealing with UTIs, I'm anemic, and honestly, I haven't seen a gynecologist in years—which is also a bit of a disaster regarding my ovaries—plus there's sinus stuff, and well... basically, I feel like I'm falling apart. 🙄 So, I really need someone who can run through everything in a single day without requiring me to shell out my entire paycheck... yeah. 😵

If someone happens to be searching for a specialist for a specific illness or disorder and just isn't sure where to start, I stumbled upon this interesting little site. It basically breaks down the different types of doctors—what they actually do and what their specific specialties are. I was dealing with some skin issues myself, and this page actually helped me out, so... I guess I should pass it along. 🙂 Anyway, here is the link http://www.doctorstypes.com/

Does anyone know a solid psychiatrist who specializes in anxiety?
My cousin is really struggling with anxiety lately, so I was wondering if you guys could recommend a good psychiatrist to help him out?

So, I gave them a call yesterday—honestly, it doesn't even matter if they're based in Washington, D.C., Rijeka, or Zadar, as long as the person is legit and trustworthy, right? So, please, if you know someone who’s absolutely top-tier when it comes to this, drop a recommendation below!
I heard through the grapevine that Zoričić is fantastic, but I don't know... does anyone else have a lead on someone good?

Not sure where else to turn, but I need to get an X-ray on my leg done here in Washington, D.C. Does anyone know of a clinic where the wait times aren't soul-crushing?
hvala.

Heard Zoričić is solid, though I'm not sure if anyone else has leads...

There's an Anxiety thread over in the Psychology subforum (Psychosofa, I think) where someone might actually have a decent recommendation for you.

Kimberly Ward said:Just a heads-up from someone who's been there: stay away from Ivica Mršić at the Lake Tahoe-private clinic. Even though he takes Medicare, he almost ruined a perfectly healthy tooth of mine.

Quick question regarding an older thread: could you elaborate on what specifically went wrong? I'm thinking about switching to this dentist, so any insight would be really helpful.
hvala!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good GP in Dugava? Or if you happen to know who's currently taking on new patients in Dugava or the surrounding areas?
hvala

I'm looking for a solid GP on the west side of town (maybe around Spanish, Crossroads, Brooklyn, or Lake Tahoe...)

Can anyone give me the lowdown on Dr. Pegan over at Vinogradska Hospital in the ENT department? His name is listed on my referral for ear surgery, so I’m assuming he's the one performing the procedure..

You can actually get an MRI done via your insurance at a specialized facility like Saint Catherine in the suburbs—they don't usually have a massive waitlist, maybe just a few months. Their number is 049/204888.

Hey,
Does anyone know Dr. Alan Ivković? He's an orthopedic surgeon working at the Mayo Clinic, but I'm wondering if he takes private patients elsewhere. I honestly don't have the time to sit around waiting for an appointment here....

Actually, they don't accept Medicare referrals anymore.

Rade, I honestly think it’s working—my mother-in-law actually scheduled an appointment for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging and they gave her a slot in just 20 days!! The only catch would be if they somehow hit their capacity limit in the meantime, but that was about a week ago; I find it hard to believe they’ve already filled every single opening. Might be worth asking

It might be worth asking.

When I called them a few times back in October of last year, they told me straight up that their contract with Medicare had been terminated, so I could only see them if I paid out of pocket.🤷

They secured a new contract at the start of the year.
