I heard the exact same thing as Estella—basically, only patients at the Mayo Clinic were covered. Even locals couldn't just walk into their own county hospital without paying out of pocket! Can you believe that?

So, I finally called in on Wednesday to get myself scheduled for an MRI on my neck, and they gave me an appointment for March 12th. The lady on the phone was basically telling me to hurry up and book ASAP because their contract just got extended and now everyone is blowing up their phones at once. Just so you guys know, the Mayo Clinic is located over in Zabok.☕

Basically, my shoulders are constantly hunched and my posture is pretty much nonexistent.
I was wondering if I might be eligible through Medicare to get a corrective brace or something similar.

Yes. He reviewed my results and told me I’d done everything required and that everything looked fine according to him. He suggested Mizar for periods of extreme tension and recommended psychotherapy. All things considered, he wasn't particularly helpful, though we did have a relatively pleasant conversation.

It didn't really help my grandmother at all. Not when my mom was showing those medical results to her doctor.

How are these people seriously planning on striking for three months? I don't have that kind of time. I need to get these thickenings in both nasal passages removed. My doctor said it’s a straightforward fix and that he’d take care of it, but after this whole disaster, I highly doubt he’ll even lift a finger.

Honestly, I’d suggest checking out Saint Catherine Hospital—they do both private insurance and standard provider referrals. It’s actually pretty sweet because even if you're going through your insurance, you aren't stuck waiting forever; maybe just a day or two... they have this clinic right near the downtown business district in Chicago, and the doctors there are top-tier. They handle everything from pro athletes to just regular folks. Most of them pull shifts at the major city hospitals too, I think it was either Memorial or maybe Mercy, something like that...
