I heard about a year or two ago that they were actually better than the Sister of Mercy hospital when it comes to ear issues, tinnitus, or anything else involving the ears... I just cannot wrap my head around the name of this private practice. It’s strictly an EAR clinic—maybe ENT, but I know for a fact their specialty is all about ear problems. Please, just throw out some names or mention any you know because I am drawing a total blank, and the most ridiculous part is that I can't even find it on Google...🙂 It's like it just evaporated into thin air; it's unbelievable that I can't track down the name.

My neighbor is dealing with absolutely unbearable ear issues—constant ringing for several years now, combined with intense pressure in the ears and all that. He asked me to look into it.

Maybe one of these?

None of those—I’ve already sat through them myself. Actually, a user on this forum recommended one of them to me nearly a year ago...

Just try to remember the general topic and search your own username on Google.

I have to say, Dr. Naumovski Mihalić is a top-tier super gastroenterologist internist. Unfortunately, she also retired, so she's no longer at Mercury, but I still see her privately. She works at Mayo Clinic and Novamed Clinic usually one day a week.

Unfortunately, she has retired from her position at Mercury, so I’ve started seeing her privately instead. She usually works one day a week at both Mayo Clinic and Novamed clinics.

Thanks for the recommendation! However, I actually went ahead and booked an appointment this morning with Nadan Rustemović, who practices privately over at Bates. I was torn between him and Dr. Tomislav Brkić (who recently joined the staff at Apnea), as they both specialize in inflammatory bowel disease. I really hope I made the right call here.

Has anyone by any chance had experience with either of these two gastroenterologists? If so, I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you! 🙂

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some solid recommendations for a private neurologist who specializes in epilepsy. If you know someone great, please let me know. Thanks a ton!

I’m looking for some honest feedback or recommendations regarding the ENT specialists over at Mayo Clinic (Mount Sinai).
I need to undergo stapedectomy surgery for otosclerosis, and from what I’ve gathered, there are three specific surgeons at Mount Sinai who handle this:
Dr. R. Trotić, Michael Ries, and Jakov Ajduk.

Thanks.

Hey everyone!
Since I just moved to this suburban neighborhood, I’m faced with the annoying task of finding a new doctor. My current GP is actually wonderful, but she’s way too far away to make regular visits practical... So, I’m on the hunt for a solid, conscientious, and approachable primary care physician who actually treats their patients with some kindness. Does anyone have a recommendation they can swear by?

I did a little digging online, and I keep seeing names like Lidija Drobnjak-Pušnik and
Zorica Pahor-Zdravev popping up as the top choices... Has anyone here actually sat in their exam room? What’s the vibe? Are they efficient and straight to the point, or are they the type to chat endlessly without actually getting much done? And just for a general sense of things—are they more on the seasoned side or younger? Not that age is a dealbreaker, but I’d love to get a feel for their style before booking.

On a related note, if there happens to be a good dermatologist over at Siget Medical Center, I would absolutely love a lead on that as well!
Thanks in advance!!! 🙂

I did a little digging online, and both Lidija Drobnjak-Pušnik and
Zorica Pahor-Zdravev seem to be highly rated... has anyone actually seen them? What are they like—do they get straight to the point and take action, or are they all talk and no substance? Also, are they older or younger? (Not that it matters much, I'm just trying to get a feel for their vibe.)

I could also use a recommendation for a dermatologist at Siget Medical Center if there's one available!
Thanks in advance!!! 🙂

I've been seeing Dr. Chawala since I was in elementary school. She's incredibly kind, approachable, and super flexible with scheduling. The nurse isn't exactly the friendliest person you'll meet—she's more perpetually grumpy than anything else—but honestly, I haven't had a single bad experience with her over all these years, so you have my full endorsement.

I’m looking for some recommendations. Where would be the best place to get an MRI of the spine done for a 5-year-old? Thanks.

She is honestly such a wonderful, down-to-earth doctor—the kind of person you can actually talk to and work things out with. Now, the nurse? Well, she isn't exactly the warmest soul you'll ever meet; she tends to carry this perpetual scowl, though I wouldn't say she's actually mean, just perpetually grumpy. Still, in all my years of going there, I’ve never had a single bad experience, so you have my full, heartfelt recommendation.

Thanks so much!!!!🙂

I'm looking for a general practitioner around the West Side of Chicago who's actually taking on new patients.

Every single time I call someone, they just hang up on me.🙂

Or, if anyone happens to have a number I could call just to find out which doctors are currently accepting new patients, that would be great.

Thanks!

Thanks.

I have one over near Savanna. Can DM you the details.

My niece went to Mayo Clinic; I believe they have one of those open-style magnets, and her mother was right there with her.

If you aren't comfortable sharing here, feel free to just shoot me a DM.

It is honestly mind-boggling—does nobody actually read these threads? Or does everyone here just exist in total ignorance?🤷

Can anyone give me the lowdown on which hospitals or clinics in the US offer radiation therapy after breast cancer surgery and chemo? I'm mainly looking at places in California or maybe up near Indianapolis... Asking because the hospital closest to me has a massive three-month waitlist, so I'm trying to see if there's anywhere else where I might actually get seen sooner.

Does anyone know a decent GP in Indianapolis who’s actually taking on new patients right now?
I'm looking for someone reliable—not some total nightmare... 🙂

Thanks in advance
