Looking for recommendations: Best graphics tablet?

I’m looking for some solid recommendations on a drawing tablet.
My focus is strictly on digital illustration rather than heavy-duty Photoshop retouching or anything like that... I really don't have the budget for an iPad Pro, but I could probably stretch myself to about $667...
I'm mostly curious which one feels best for actual line work and if any of them can handle decent vector stuff—if that's even a thing you can actually do with a tablet????
