I really need an answer ASAP!
Thanks!

Are we talking about a standard package or certified mail?
If you declare the value, just sending it as a regular package will be around $33 pt, but if you go with certified, it’ll probably run you about $4.25... though you have to make sure it doesn't weigh even a tiny bit over that 2 kg limit!$8.00 πŸ˜‰

I'm pretty sure it weighs less than 2 kg anyway...

Does anyone know what time the main post office on Branimirov stays open for customers? I mean the main entrance, specifically for sending registered mail

The post office on Branimirov is open 24/7. Just head in from the side and go up; you could always send your recommended mail there too..

I was wondering what the standard shipping rates look like for something relatively heavy
like a plastic cap tucked into the smallest possible envelope, does that stay at the same rate $5.00 or maybe even less
thanks

for a plastic cap in a tiny envelope? then it’s either 5 or $2.25 πŸ™‚

I think it should be at least $3.25 if that's what's recommended, because 5 definitely isn't enough

Hey everyone,

Quick favorβ€”if you know, please let me know ASAP (I’m making the payment tomorrow)
how much the standard package costs (up to 11 lbs)
assuming it's being sent from Washington, D.C. to Washington, D.C.
: is it $3.25 or 15 dollars?

I need an answer as soon as possible...

I'm looking to mail a standard music CD to a friend down in Miami... I'm based here in Washington, D.C.... what would the postage run...?

And I also have a simple short-sleeved T-shirt to send to another friend... how should I package that? Should I just use one of those yellow bubble mailers or something else?? And what kind of shipping costs am I looking at for that... she lives in Seattle.

If you go with certified mail, USPS will charge you about $3.25 for both inquiries, assuming the shirt is thin or lightweight. If it’s a heavier cotton blend, just send it as a package for $5.00. You can find all the details at www.usps.com. 😁 By the way, their online calculator is actually working again..

I’d honestly suggest just sending everything as a package. I once sent some thin little shorts via tracked shipping and it cost me $4.25, but the whole thing arrived on August 13th. There isn't much difference in price when you're checking out, so you might as well go with the package option. Unless, of course, the buyer is being weirdly specific about wanting a standard envelope.

Nancy Wood33 said:I’m thinking about sending some chocolates over to the USAβ€”nothing huge, just maybe a few Hershey's bars around the 7oz size, maybe up to two pounds total. Does anyone have advice on how to ship this most affordably while still being fast enough so everything doesn't melt πŸ˜‰?

Is it smarter to use a box or one of those bubble mailers? Like, should I send it as a package or just a letter?
Do I need to declare what's inside, or can I just mark it as a gift?
And will they actually open it at the post office (both here and in the States?)

Thanks!

It’s definitely better to send it as a package (I’m living in the US right now). I’ve received things like this in bubble mailers before, but everything ended up melted and a total mess. I honestly don't know what people back home are doing with those packages... anyway, here in the States, people rarely open them; I've personally never seen anyone open a package like that.

Sending it as a package isn't the best move; otherwise, the recipient is stuck paying extra fees $1.75 upon delivery or trekking down to the local USPS office to pick it up. Just stick to requiring a signature.

Is it just me, or does it feel like HP express isn't actually shaving off that 3.66% fee when I'm sending packages with cash on delivery anymore? Instead, they just seem to be tacking on $2.25 instead
?

I need to mail out some glasses, but I don't have the original case, so I'm wondering what the best way to handle this would be...
I want to make sure they don't get crushed during transit.
I've got plenty of those protective
foam inserts and some bubble wrap lying around
but I just don't have a small box specifically for them
Any advice would be appreciated, because I'm honestly at a bit of a loss on how to pack these safely

Seriously, please helpβ€”I have no idea how I should package this.

Just toss them into any box you can findβ€”honestly, it could even be a massive one since shipping costs are calculated by weight rather than the actual size of the boxβ€”and then just wrap everything up in different layers of padding. As for the glasses themselves, wrap them in some fabric first and then use that bubble wrap to make sure they stay safe. Hopefully, that helps!πŸ‘

Quick question here 😳
If I order something and pay cash on delivery, will the driver actually come to my door to collect the money, or will they just leave a slip behind so I can head down to the UPS store later?
