I was running a fever of 102 degrees for days on end, though I’m finally feeling alright today. Tomorrow, I plan to call my primary care physician and then follow up with the local health department to see if I actually caught some nasty virus.
To make matters worse, the medical staff at my workplace refused to even test me because I wasn't on their priority list—apparently, since I already got both doses of the vaccine, they only bother testing the unvaccinated ones 🤦 what an absolute idiot!

I grabbed one of those home tests at CVS, cost me about thirty bucks. I figured I’d better just stay tucked away in my own place and test myself, especially with all these idiots out there acting like they're invincible. You know the type—they walk around claiming it’s nothing more than a sinus issue, even when they can't taste or smell a damn thing, thinking they're totally fine.

That’s true, but at least this way you know exactly where the garbage is, which lets you distance yourself from everyone else so you don't end up dragging down some innocent person who shouldn't have to deal with it.

I’ve basically gone into full isolation. I'm stuck at home alone and skipping work entirely, just having my groceries and everything else delivered with a note to leave them right on the doorstep.
