Oh, absolutely, that church scene in Kingsman is easily one of the most iconic moments ever, wasn't it? I actually haven't gotten around to watching Oldboy yet; I've had it downloaded on my computer for ages, but I just can't seem to find the right time to sit down and watch it. Since IMDb gives it a 5.7, I'm thinking I might pass on it for a while longer. 🤣

He means the original version.

That little bit is what stuck with me, even though the movie itself was pretty mediocre.

God, these kids are pathetic. They sit there watching Game of Thrones and whining about every single episode from day one, constantly comparing it to the books and acting like everything is wrong. Just stop watching, for Christ's sake.

Screw the rules. If everything went exactly by the book, life would be boring because you'd always know what's coming next.

Man, it’s not even just that. They’ve been watching since season one and they find something to whine about in basically every single episode. Like, what the hell? If everything was perfect all the time, then nothing would actually be good.

I honestly wish all their favorite versions would just crash and burn, leaving them with nothing but the stuff they hate. I’d get a real kick out of watching that.

Honestly, I think the deviations from the books in shows like Game of Thrones actually work better than the original source material... Martin probably changed his mind about certain plot points as he went along over the years

I was totally underwhelmed by Daredevil, especially after that first episode... the lead guy just lacked any real charisma, even though everyone else seems to be raving about it (not just on here). Battle Creek wasn't really my thing either, but I did dig Aspen... the main actor has such a hilarious, goofy look to him

It’s pretty funny when he tries to offer a bribe in Norway and the other guy explains that's not how things work there, so he just brushes it off as a cultural difference🤣

Look, I haven't even read the books. I was just messing around on another PDF. Comparing a book to a TV show is a lost cause anyway. They're two totally different mediums built for completely different vibes.

cool 🙂

I've been to plenty of similar attractions, and I guess roller coasters are pretty great. But this is all about those intense G-forces, so maybe I'd really like to try this out.

I honestly have no idea when you guys find the time to catch up on these shows. It’s almost like nobody actually has a job or anything to do! I guess I finally managed to finish S01 of Boardwalk Empire, but only because I was sent on a two-month business trip and didn't really have any responsibilities outside of work.

Come on, Joe, let’s not be like that. ☕

On a different note, I was actually wondering if anyone has any solid comedy recommendations? For the past year, I've been stuck in a loop of nothing but horror, heavy dramas, and intense thrillers. It feels like an absolute eternity since I last sat down to enjoy a genuinely good comedy.

If you're looking for series, nothing touches this one. ☕

As for movies, I'm drawing a blank. Honestly, I think Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were the last things that actually made me laugh.

I was originally thinking about movies, but this looks pretty good too. I haven't heard much about this series before, but seeing that the episodes are only about 22 minutes long—plus that it has an excellent rating on IMDb and features that actor from Horrible Bosses—it seems worth my time. I think I'll dive into the first two or three episodes sometime this week. 👍

What more could you want?

And there really aren't many great comedies out there. I thought this one was pretty good, though you might have already seen it:

If you've got nothing else, go with Emma Stone and J. Moore—it's hard to miss with them.
