Fine. Now this economic plan from the Germans actually makes sense. Expect Pep to run that tiki-taka style for the next four years.

We’ve even got the money to back it up. 🙏 🙏 🙏

You’re really falling for that tired old rhetoric that used to be everywhere until people started asking—rightfully so—which government was actually better than this one? Was the Bush era better, or those GOP administrations back in the day that basically orchestrated massive corporate looting?

I don't even consider myself a Democrat, but generally speaking, both the Republican and Democratic administrations have been way more honest than any of the big GOP eras. It's just a shame that things like selling off ExxonMobil assets or building highways at ten times the cost during the Bush years overshadow all the little mistakes and scandals of this current administration. It's like how the privatization scams of the 90s dwarf everything from the recent political drama. Just look at the reports about certain officials having over $100 million sitting in offshore accounts recently! Even some of the smaller scandals from previous years seem minor compared to the massive sell-offs of major banks or huge industrial giants...

The real issue is that when it comes to everything else, both sides have been equally ineffective, padding their ranks with people in the public sector without having a real vision for how America should grow. Part of it is due to that old-school establishment elite still pulling the strings in the GOP—and maybe a bit in the Democrats too—but mostly it's because we're still navigating our modern identity. That old guard grabbed up all the best assets for themselves, leaving everyone else to fight over the scraps...

Anthony Jackson2 said:Irony aside—maybe free tuition wouldn't be such a disaster if there were actually some kind of filter in place to weed people out. But these days, there’s zero barrier to entry. No selection process, no incentive to actually grind because they're footing their own bill. Everything is just wide open.

Higher education has turned into mass entertainment. People enroll just because they can't be bothered to find a real job after high school—it's basically a way to kill time until something better comes along. You really think people like that are going to show up for anything meaningful? I doubt it. Listening to the crowd—whether it's in a lecture hall or a diner—you see the sheer volume of idiots holding a degree. Most of them lack character, basic cognitive function, or an original thought in their heads. Why are they there? Because they can be. And fine, everyone deserves access to college. But if you're looking for people who will actually take action and change things, you're looking in the wrong place.

I hear you, but I think you're describing a very specific bubble. In this country, the real issue isn't necessarily the quality of the education we're getting; it's the fact that we have such a tiny percentage of the population actually pursuing it. If you look at the major metropolitan hubs where the big universities are located, the economic and social landscape is miles ahead of those small towns where there aren't even decent schools or steady jobs to speak of.

Oh, really? 🤣 Can you even imagine what it would look like if Pep were designing an economic strategy for the Republicans—putting massive pressure on the Democrats led by someone like Mitch McConnell, leaving the ball in the court of some dreamer like Bernie Sanders, and then, if things go sideways, simply realizing there isn't even a Plan B in sight?

It’s honestly pathetic how even on a tiny, anonymous, non-political PDF like this, you still get these clowns trying to campaign and cheerlead for their little political parties.

Loys and Ken are clearly pushing the Republicans, while Süd and Matthew Young35 are all about the Democrats. It’s so obvious they're just stabbing at the screen with their bias...

Most of them just troll about football, but when it comes to politics—man, they really start cranking out those long-winded manifestos. 😁

I’d sooner tattoo every single one of Messi’s inkings onto my skin than join the Democrats—nothing but a bottomless pit of incompetence and petty scammers.🤦

But hey, anything beats the Republicans. Honestly, a massive flood, a typhus outbreak, or a swarm of locusts would probably do less damage to the country than having the GOP in power.

You can claim to be whatever you want, but there’s no way you can claim to support the Republicans. Sure, everyone has their flaws—the Democrats are a mess most of the time—but even they are more tolerable than the GOP. I honestly have to hope that people voting Republican are doing it for some calculated personal gain; otherwise, we’re looking at nothing short of intellectual suicide.

And this is the group that’s supposed to lead our country. 🤣

I mean, the guy studied for ten years and he’s only just now seeking English tutoring. Imagine the level of intellect when someone like him tries to go toe-to-toe with a Biden in a debate...

It honestly makes me sick thinking that in the next election, I won't be voting for who I actually like, but just for the Democrats because they'll be the "least bad" option. Since we only have two parties anyway, it's always going to feel like that...

I’m honestly considering casting my vote for the Democrats. I know I’ve probably said this a dozen times already, but sometimes you have to choose the lesser of two evils to stop a total disaster. That said, I’m keeping a close eye on the polls. If a third option—one that actually makes sense—starts gaining any real traction, I’ll jump ship in a heartbeat. Let’s be real: most Americans are absolutely fed up with both the GOP and the Democrats.

A debate between a heavy hitter like Joe Biden and someone like Donald Trump would be more entertaining than every late-night comedy show combined. Honestly, it’ll probably feel like watching a total blowout, like a top-tier US football team playing against a high school squad.

There’s another way out—just don't show up to vote. By signing that ballot, you’re basically handing over your blessing to the lesser of two evils, even if you know damn well it's a trap.

That way, you can at least walk around with a clear conscience... tell yourself this isn't your government or your leadership, just whatever the majority in this country decided to pull. At least then you can look yourself in the mirror in the morning.

Jeffrey Edwards76 actually nailed it in a thread a few pages back—about a quarter of the people in this country benefit directly or indirectly from this whole rigged setup, living off someone else's sweat or credit. You can't expect anything to change when the system is built to keep them winning.

To grab the majority needed to run the show, they have to resort to lies and dirty manipulation. Just facts...

If I had to choose between pneumonia or lung cancer, I’d take the pneumonia. I won't sit idly by while some idiots decide I should have cancer instead—assuming anyone even bothers to ask me.

Blank ballots don't actually carry any weight. If 99% of people turned in crossed-out or empty papers, the Republicans wouldn't go, "Oh, clearly the voters aren't giving us legitimacy." No, they’d just count the few valid votes they did get and call it a win. So, staying home to avoid voting for the Democrats is basically just doing the heavy lifting for the GOP.

Sure, staying home lets you look in the mirror. But if the Republicans sweep the board, you won't be able to see anything through the window anyway.

That’s just not an option for me. People always end up whining later—not you specifically, I'm speaking generally—about how things turned out poorly, but honestly? That's on you. You own your choices. You pick the lesser of two evils and at least you did your part to prevent a total disaster. Then you wake up the next morning complaining that things suck, but at least you have the peace of mind knowing they could have been a hell of a lot worse. 😬

I’ll probably end up voting for a third party. I’m clinging to the hope that more young people will follow suit so we can finally see some actual change in this country. But honestly, when I look at how much influence those old guard fossils in the two major parties have over their own kids, it’s a complete disaster. They indoctrinate them from day one, and frankly, that's the biggest roadblock to any real political progress we might ever see.

It’s already too late to hope for some third party that actually offers a real alternative to the Democrats or the Republicans. It’s obvious who you’re choosing between right now. There isn't a viable third option on the table, and if the goal is to stop a corrupt political machine from reclaiming power, voting for these minor parties is just throwing your ballot in the trash.

The chaos over in DC 🙏

Between all those protesters stationed right outside the Capitol building and these veterans launching attacks against the House itself—all amidst this absolute circus that the GOP isn't even attempting to distance themselves from—it’s ridiculous to call Milanovic a populist just because he likes using Latin phrases. 🙏🙏

Exactly. Whether your vote actually moves the needle is debatable—but at least you can say you tried.

We’re largely responsible for our own mess, too—we’re an incredibly passive people, and when we finally do find the energy to act, it’s usually over something trivial. Take the referendums—our first one after independence, despite all the systemic issues facing the country, was nothing more than a debate over LGBTQ+ rights 🙏 And as if that wasn't pointless enough, they started collecting signatures for a referendum just to protect 800 bureaucrats at a state highway agency 🙏 You can't tell me which is more foolish.
