Has anyone from any relevant sector of society actually bothered to hold that clown accountable?

The only place where someone like Tom Davis can actually make sense. Honestly, what kind of minds are we dealing with here? 🤣

Karamarko claims that in America, you'll find the American flag flying in every single backyard.

It’s a shame they didn't include a running tally of all those scandals from the privatization era right through to the Sanders years. Back then, we probably wouldn't have had the processing power required to crunch numbers that massive quite so quickly.

Man, screw this. Those crooks are just gonna walk away with a mountain of votes again, and the Democrats—well, maybe they're slightly less terrible, but they're still clueless and don't offer anything real, so we'll probably end up right back where we started. I guess Americans are just masochists, there's no other way to explain it.

Is this really something we’re supposed to be celebrating, folks?

If this thieving coalition grabs an absolute majority, they’ll be throwing parades just like they did back when we had that referendum on LGBTQ+ rights. The only way we'd see an even bigger celebration is if the government somehow made some extremist slogan the official salute for the U.S. Army.

But fine, looking at it objectively, Tomislav Karamarko is the literal embodiment of this nation, as terrible as that sounds. 🤦

If we were actually there right now, we’d probably have a gorgeous Latina on each arm...

The diaspora—88% voted for him. 🤦

And then there’s the runner-up at 3%—Mayor Adams. 🤦

Then people wonder why we shouldn't let them vote. It's not about stripping their voting rights—it's more about barring their entry to the States for the summer.

I’m stuck wondering if these people are just incredibly dim-witted—to put it politely—or if they’re actually malicious, trying to spite those of us who stayed behind in the States. Honestly, I don't see the point in their ballots.

Honestly, this was completely expected. Maybe the Democrats will pull off some miracle and win it after all. Hope springs eternal, I guess. ☕

The real question is whether that would even be enough. You need 76 seats to form a government, and we've only processed about 59% of the precincts. Those ratios could still shift significantly. Look at the 2nd District—the Democrats were leading earlier, but now the Republicans have taken the lead. Votes come in with such unpredictable momentum.

It’s a unique mess.

First off, I think the recent expats—mostly the younger crowd—aren't even bothering to vote because they want zero ties to this swamp; they're just happy to be gone, and that’s enough for them.

Then you have the ones who fled during the war without looking back—they feel the need to prove they’re "better" than the rest of us staying here, so they cast a ballot.

Then there are the uninformed folks who still cling to old political tropes from decades ago, linking certain parties to patriotism—completely unaware that "patriotism" around here has just become a code word for theft and corruption. But hey, when you haven't set foot in the US for years, you wouldn't know what's actually happening.

Then you have the ones who are simply stupid.

And don't forget the people being paid to show up and vote... etc.

There are plenty of scenarios—and I doubt any of them are pure malice—but I honestly think the biggest issue is misinformation, followed by deep-seated complexes, and then everything else.

The truth? They couldn't care less. It doesn't affect them. They aren't the ones voting on these laws, nor are they the ones forming the administration.
To them, figures like Trump or certain prominent GOP leaders just feel "too American," so they mock them. It’s a safe little way to perform their patriotism without actually paying any price for it.

I couldn't agree more. My comment about malice was mostly sarcasm. I see firsthand how many people my age are misinformed or totally clueless, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when you look at their families' mindsets. If it's this easy with the people living right here in America, imagine the mindset of the crowd that lived through the nineties. It’s all too easy for that group to blindly defend the old guard.
