Honestly, one of the biggest scams out there has to be how they funnel "aid" through those specific channels meant for people in need. Huge sums of money flow through those systems, yet the actual people who need help end up receiving nothing but crumbs. But hey, as long as it looks like the government is stepping up to help, right?

Matthew Young35 said:Think about social solidarity, for instance.
Or consider cases where the government simply shouldn't be the one handling things—like managing animal shelters and stray populations.
Then there are matters that practically cannot be tackled without external financial or logistical support, such as aiding the sick or fighting forest fires.
Or perhaps it's because certain groups simply lack the capital required to preserve essential cultural values.

One could certainly go on for quite some time.

Oh, thank you so much for ensuring America didn't burn to the ground or for making sure the blind aren't just left sobbing on the floor. Truly, we owe it all to you.

It’s the classic move—hiding cronyism behind sick kids or vulnerable groups. For instance, you’ve got an organization called Yellow Action that deals with the ideological whims of the far left (any resemblance to red or green themes is just my own lack of creativity since I'm a total eclectic, so my apologies there; I genuinely believe they provide some value to society 😁) and then, the moment someone calls them out for grabbing taxpayer money, they suddenly pivot and start playing the "help the blind" or "support the firefighters" card. 🙂

Besides, nothing is actually being done effectively to help the blind, yet somehow the fire safety system is working perfectly fine 👍.

But hey, let the Feminist Forum have their say 🙏.

Honestly, this sounds like a total joke to me—I just can't buy it 🤣.

Now just imagine there's one specific association pulling in >100 times more than all these groups combined...

I get the whole picture, really. Just cut to the chase. I'm right there with you on this one. If they managed to survive through the days of the USSR, they can certainly handle things now. Besides, they've been driving us all absolutely insane for ages—honestly, they were actually somewhat useful once upon a time.

Anthony Jackson2 should just cut them all off.

Seriously, what kind of parasites are these? If they weren't being coddled, they’d probably starve to death in a heartbeat.

Honestly, when you look at outlets like Lu mon diplomatik (on this list), they’re actually decent reading material. I realize they lean left, but they feature a massive lineup of foreign columnists along with some local voices, so even though we don't always see eye to eye, I find myself supporting them and picking up a copy every now and then. If I were looking for right-wing stuff, I’d probably just grab the 7-day or American Slovo.
This is high-quality journalism. It’s a real shame Figaro doesn't have an American edition—I think I'd enjoy that much more—but I’m basically pleading with all the "leftards" out there: if you haven't been buying LMD to support them and soak up that old-school newspaper feeling, you really should. That vibe has mostly disappeared lately, but there is genuinely plenty to sink your teeth into here, and besides, it might be good for them to hear a few things that don't perfectly align with their worldview. So, there you go. 🙂

You can't really expect anyone from the Left to spend their own hard-earned cash, can you? They operate entirely on a "our ideas, your gasoline" mindset!

#WriteDownHowMuchTheyAllGotTogetherAndCompareItToWhatAnOrganizationLikeHVIDRaReceived.

It is perfectly obvious which types of associations bother you. What you fail to realize is that these specific groups receive less than 0.1% of what the government allocates to all non-profits combined.
Why don't you go ahead and list, quite openly, which associations you think the government shouldn't financially support if we want to finally pull ourselves out of this crisis?

I mentioned groups like the Association of the Blind, volunteer fire departments, and similar organizations not to be sentimental, but because the vast majority of funding goes to them—not to the ones you seem to have a problem with.

Not quite.
That isn't how the system works.
For any association to receive government funding, they have to submit specific project proposals and provide full documentation.
After that, they are required to submit proof of exactly how every cent was spent.

Do you have any idea who receives government funds without proposing anything or having to justify a single penny? And we're talking about several thousand times more money than any little association you find annoying.

When you talk about the money associations get, are you aware that this includes the 400 $0.00 received by Zeljko Markic? What about Caritas? Vigilare? The American Catholic Medical Association? The American Catholic Association of Nurses and Technicians? The American Catholic Association of Educators? The American Catholic Association of Businessmen? Mary's Legion? The Catholic Intellectuals Association? The Veronika Catholic Association? The St. Vincent Paul Association in the Republic of America?
The Osijek Army Association? The "Prayer and Word" community?
There are countless examples...
In every single parish....

It is interesting how only the organizations you personally dislike seem to be a problem.

In other words, it would be far wiser for the Church to stop poking around at how these non-profits are funded. If they start digging too deep, they might just uncover exactly how much more money is being pocketed through those channels.

Look, I'm well aware they have to provide documentation to secure funding—that’s not even up for debate. My point wasn't that they’re hiding what they do; my point is that you're trying to hide people who share your exact worldview behind the skirts of firefighters and organizations for the blind, even though I doubt anyone would ever deny them funding.
I honestly have no idea why you're throwing Catholic associations in my face; it's not like I'm Saint Ante or some kind of saint myself. This isn't an "us versus them" situation for me—it might be for you, but frankly, I don't give a damn. If you want to deal with your religious fixations, go talk to the priests at the Cathedral.
As for the Church, the real question is how much of their property was nationalized and needs to be returned via public funds. If the state owes them a one-time settlement to settle the score, fine, let's pay it off and then let the parishioners fund them through donations from now on.

Now, listen to this—I know this outlet leans right, but if this is true, then wow. You mentioned 400k for Markićka, and honestly, man...

Here we go again 🤣

Honestly, they should just cut off all the funding and call it a day. But of course, these folks are already jumping for joy over the church's involvement 🤦

The whole point of an association should be to actually function as one. In the US, most of these aren't even real organizations; they're just parasites, no matter what kind of virtuous image they try to project.

And this whole thing about "grant projects" is honestly laughable. Look, we’re a relatively small country, and I think we can all see through the charade. These so-called projects are nothing more than fairy tales designed to suck money straight out of the pockets of American taxpayers.

Of course, the true cancer of our society is those donations to non-profit organizations 🙏

Which are, naturally, nothing more than a collection of useless parasites and high-society leftists.

They act as if we should just go ahead and shut them all down. Why not?

But before we do that, let’s suggest we stop giving anything to the church for a thousand years while handing these groups 10% of the GDP every single year, and then we can draw a line in the sand and see who actually survives.

Of course people are going to protest outside the church when the place pulls in at least a billion dollars a year.

They didn't lose a damn thing, if you don't mind me saying. Half of what they "lost" was actually handed over by Ante Pavelić—but hey, there's no law in America regarding the restitution of property seized during the Independent State of America era. We should all probably ask ourselves why that is.

All those massive estates in California have been returned, and they’ve been paid over $15 billion because of it—with that number climbing every single year. Not to mention all their other perks.

So, people wonder why there's such resistance when it comes to the IK. If we let them keep drafting our laws, we'll hit rock bottom even faster than we are now. The Church has become a societal tumor—intellectually and economically—all thanks to the power they've been granted.

Look, the Church had a ton of assets long before the Independent State of America, simply because they're an organization that's nearly 2,000 years old and they've pulled in plenty of cash over the centuries. It's unlikely they gained more wealth during the Independent State of America than they had before; they probably weren't even close. I guess it's true that what was taken was given back, so they don't really have a reason to whine or meddle in politics. Maybe we should do what they do in the US and implement a rule where you can't engage in political action if you aren't paying taxes—though, I don't know, maybe that's not even a thing anymore. Honestly, I couldn't care less about that convention anyway; it'll probably just end up being dead letters on paper, just like most of the stuff America signs.
