So this little kid comes up to me and asks why Lionel Messi is coughing, like he’s worried it might be COVID or something, and I'm just sitting there thinking about how much kids overthink everything, but then my mom just looks at him and says, "Don't worry, it's not COVID, he's just coughing from all those hormones."

Paul Martinez73 said:Where exactly was I whining? Find me one post where I did. 🤷

Look, I enjoy a good debate, and I don't cry when I get insulted, nor do I try to bail out of an argument with cheap provocations. Kmectivo was the one who started throwing shade first, which is why I’m talking down to him... 🙂

My point was that burgers in America are pretty much mediocre everywhere, so if someone tries to sell you a burger for $9 in Washington, D.C., and you fall for it, that’s just pure stupidity. Some of the best burger joints in the World have prices two to five times higher than that. Maybe it'll click for you now... 🤷
Besides, any actual chef would agree with me on this burger thing, but if Amanda Evans2 thinks she's somehow smarter or better than everyone else, that's her own issue. She accuses me of being condescending, yet every single one of her posts feels that way—plus, she adds insults on top of it. It doesn't bother me when people do that to me, but the second it happens to her, she starts crying and calling people out here.

And yet here you are, acting as if you have some absolute certainty that every single burger in the US is equally terrible. 🙏 You’re claiming you’ve tried them all and possess an intimate knowledge of every process and origin story. 🙏

How you manage to keep talking in circles like this, I honestly can't wrap my head around it. 🙏

So imagine this: Leo walks into the locker room and everyone is just sitting there wearing masks, right? He’s looking at them like they’ve all lost their minds, and they’re staring back at him like he’s the weird one, and they just sit in this heavy, awkward silence for like thirty seconds straight, until finally he just breaks the tension by saying, if I didn't catch something back in Egypt while I was trekking over those ancient tombs, there's no way I'm catching anything from these pharaohs now.

Hey everyone, would anyone be able to point me in the right direction or maybe shoot me a DM with a link where I can download NBA 2K20 for free? If that’s not an option, then I guess I'll settle for at least getting my hands on NBA 2K19.

I'm totally fine receiving it via private message too.

Honestly, if I don't find this soon, I think I'm actually going to lose my mind sitting here at home...

Just like any self-proclaimed expert—he thinks he knows better than the rest of us.

Whenever someone starts a sentence with "Well, back in Germany..." I just tune out immediately—otherwise, I'll end up wanting to gag.

But based on your references, it's pretty obvious to me that when it comes to food, you always go for the cheapest, most mass-produced option.
"Opium for the masses"—that should be your middle name.

Noah Perez2 said:I don't see why you're apologizing; you're absolutely right that it's pure idiocy to be given $23 for a sandwich. I fail to see anything wrong with what you said. 🤷

They're forcing their food opinions on us. 🙂

only an idiot wouldn't see ☕

I guess burgers, like pretty much everything else, can be either absolute perfection or total garbage, with all those messy shades of gray in between.

Could you clarify this a bit? I honestly don't see it, so I still consider anyone paying $23 for a sandwich ☕
to be an idiot or a moron.

Personally, I think Burger is the absolute best, with Subway right behind it. Even when I make a decent burger at home, I’m looking at least 20-$8.25, so I honestly can't complain about paying 50 plus—quality ingredients aren't cheap these days. Honestly, though, Kebab is the one fast food I just can't stand.

It’s not just some sandwich—it’s a whole damn journey. You take one bite and you can actually taste the pig, maybe even hear a little grunt in the background. You can practically feel the life that cow lived, sense exactly which field of grass it grazed on. That sauce? It hits you so hard it reminds you why hand sanitizer is actually a vital part of the dining experience. And the bun... man, the bun is where the real magic happens. It’s an enlightenment, a total revelation. One bite of that bread and you’re basically traveling through time, seeing the entire process from start to finish. $23

Are you essentially suggesting, colleague, that the $23 transcendental has effectively merged with the physical?

I must admit, you were well on your way to disarming my positions ☕

As someone who enjoys watching this display of pure verbal swordplay among our resident forum heroes, I have to say that the opponents of Amanda Evans2 have retreated quite gracefully from his final lunges, so I suppose I’ll just offer my congratulations here. :klap:

Just like a true local, you think you're the ultimate authority, and now you're labeling me a gastrist too? It’s pretty funny how you jump from insults to labels like you own the place, just like a typical local would.

You honestly don't have a clue about anything—just so you know, I was born and raised right here in Washington, D.C. Just because you saw a flag on Reddit doesn't mean you get to act like an expert on everyone else's life.

I've mentioned several times that I work for a German firm, so I'm on their VPN for work, and I actually travel there at least once a month. And it's not just there; I'm traveling all over the US and Europe.

So, go ahead, keep talking whenever you get shut down here, but you've already taken enough hits from me lately to know you should probably just crawl back into your hole. Bye now.

Now I'll have to explain to Amanda Evans2 that there actually is a killer Kebab out there that won't break the bank... $27Basically, food rankings are all the same, especially here where they just throw whatever mystery ground meat they have into a kebab...
Either I'll have to explain to Ziza exactly what you actually know about Kebab quality... or maybe you just don't get it.
A burger just hits different when you make it at home... $8.25Can you give me the breakdown, please? I’m actually really curious to see how you layer everything inside that burger...

So, where and what are you actually picking up for...

Just one pastry...
Just 150 grams of meat...
Just one slice of cheese...
Two tomato slices.
Just one loop of onion...
Just a bowl of green salad...

Needs to be... $8.25

Charles Roberts33 said:Yeah, as long as you have gold to flex with, everything is fine, but once that runs out, you're straight into survival mode🤣. Food isn't really my priority—I usually just grab something on the go whenever I can—but I didn't even get a chance to check out Boca (looks like a ticket from a street vendor is about 20 euros), which was one of the main reasons I came, let alone venturing much outside of Buenos Aires where things actually feel like authentic Argentina.

So we'll probably need a redo in a year or so, maybe a bit more organized next time, but honestly, it’s cool just to head out when the stars align—when the right group, the right timing, and a little cash all hit at once.

It’s a tough realization to find out that Keyra Agustin isn't exactly the embodiment of the typical Argentinian woman.😁

Though, personally, I think Argentinians are actually quite alright. They have spirit, and I love their accent—definitely one of the best in the world. It’s actually quite stimulating when I start trying to speak the language.🤣

Did you manage to get out of Buenos Aires, Mendoza, or Cordoba?

Only down in Fire Earth in the south. A fair amount of our people settled there, specifically in southern Argentina and Chile.

I honestly find this whole situation on Twitter to be quite awkward; it’s truly remarkable how someone can be so profoundly uninformed while simultaneously acting so incredibly arrogant about practically every single topic under the sun. 🙏

What would it cost? $8.25 🙏 Well, if we are using pigs as our standard of measurement, I suppose you could probably manufacture one for $3.25.

In all seriousness, the tools you have available there to engage in discussions with people like that are truly invaluable.

aha, so apparently you don't even need to visit Germany anymore to soak up all that wisdom—just hop on a German VPN. ☕

I mean, honestly... where does everyone even go? I guess it’s worth asking, though maybe it doesn't matter. Where does your crowd actually head off to? I don't know. Maybe they just vanish into the void. Or maybe they're all just at some overpriced Starbucks in downtown Chicago or something. Who knows? It feels like everyone is always somewhere else lately. Just drifting. Typical. $23 I mean, we could probably just trivialize the whole thing down to the level of a basic sandwich. Or maybe a sub. I don't know. It feels like that. 🙏
