So, has anyone here ever tried mixing alcohol with Effexor? I’m curious to hear if anyone has actually gone through it—any experiences or lessons learned?

Well, I have. Personally, I didn't run into any side effects.

Well, I figured I’d chime in here and share my own experience with taking Zyprexa sublingually. Honestly, ever since I switched to the sublingual method, that constant hunger spike just... disappeared. It’s been a game-changer. I actually managed to stick to a diet and hit the gym, losing about 11 pounds in a single month. I’m pretty pleased with the progress, all things considered. Currently, I’m on 10 mg of Zyprexa alongside 20 mg of Lexapro, and I genuinely feel better than I ever have—mostly thanks to the Zyprexa. I did try to go without it for two days once, but man, the depression and anxiety symptoms came rushing back almost immediately. So, yeah, I’m sticking with the Zyprexa for the foreseeable future. I’d actually suggest to anyone considering it that they talk to their doctor about the sublingual route; it really seems to work wonders because of how broad its effects are.

Is anyone overdoing it with the Mayer? I’m starting to think 10mg for breakfast was a massive mistake... nothing life-threatening, but I’m currently sitting here drooling all over my chin. Is it the coffee? Did I drink way too much coffee?

I wouldn't say you went overboard... 10mg seems perfectly reasonable, I suppose.

I was wondering if anyone else here in the Velafax community deals with heartburn?

"Totally fine" my ass. It’s funny how whenever I mix this with my Hep C meds, I can handle hundreds of milligrams without blinking. But now? Dealing with this nasty flu I picked up here in Chicago? Even the tiniest dose knocks me sideways.

How much Misar are you taking on a daily basis? I’m currently at six 0.25mg doses.
I wonder... how long can someone actually stay on a dose like that? I guess I'm just a little worried they might try to taper me down, which would be tough because, honestly, it’s working so well for me right now.

So, I’m on Seroquel now, and man, I have put on a ridiculous amount of weight in just six weeks. My appetite is through the roof, even though everything else feels okay. I just find myself constantly craving chocolate.
Starting today, I’m on this crazy 500-calorie diet my nutritionist set up for me.
I’ve actually worked with him before and managed to drop a ton of weight—I kept it off for two whole years back when I was just on Anafranil. My appetite was totally fine then. But things have gone downhill lately since they put me on Seroquel. It seriously just opens the floodgates for hunger. Trying to eat light while on Seroquel is basically impossible, but whatever, I'm going to lose these pounds. Acupuncture helps take the edge off the hunger, too.

That is the absolute truth. After three days of doing nothing but sleeping, I told my doctor, and they basically told me to quit that crap immediately. Today I'm starting on Cymbalta, does anyone have any experience with it?

I don't have any personal experience with it, but I've heard good things. 🙂😉

Are you seriously telling me a nutritionist actually put you on a 500-calorie-a-day regimen? 😲

Yeah, they did. I'm also doing acupuncture to try and kill the hunger pangs and stop the shaking.
I am starving. Like, seriously.
Mixing Seroquel with this diet... honestly, I don't think they play well together.

I’ve been there too, though I guess I'm lucky enough that it doesn't hit me quite as hard.

When you're taking Seroquel, maintaining your weight is hard enough, let alone trying to drop pounds, but I honestly cannot wrap my head around this 500 calorie limit. No matter how you look at it, that is dangerously low and simply isn't sustainable for your health. 🤷
Please, just take a moment to read this:

So my boyfriend just dropped the bomb on me—he says we’re "just friends" now. Apparently, he made up his mind about a month ago, but I wouldn't have had a clue if I hadn't cornered him today and asked him straight up.
I mean, I’d been picking up on this weird distance and coldness from him for a while, but I kept hoping we could actually make it work. I knew something was off, just felt it in my gut... but hey, a relationship takes two people, right? You can't carry the whole thing alone.
Anyway, I'm not gonna sit here and vent forever or bore you guys with all my drama. Right now, I just need some peace of mind and some serious downtime.

I'm taking 0.5mg three times a day, and frankly, it feels like I'm not even taking anything at all.👎
That's way too much...
