Instead, I only take half of that, strictly to help with sleep. My head often aches, but that’s been an issue since way before I started this, mostly because my cervical spine is absolutely shot, but I haven't dealt with any infections. I haven't even gained much weight—maybe just five or six pounds—and I never felt terrible from it, not even at the beginning, aside from that heavy "hangover" feeling in the morning. My only real anxiety is that since it's a newer antidepressant, it might not be fully studied yet; I’d hate to get settled in only to realize I have to toss the whole thing out just to get a decent night's sleep. If it’s causing those specific symptoms for you, you really ought to tell your doctor to pull you off it. How long have you been on it, and what dosage are we talking about?

Lowest dose possible. Been at it for two years. Not exactly a genius.🙂 Got an allergic rhinitis diagnosis. Haven't dealt with allergies this bad in years. Honestly, I think my immune system's just giving up on me.
Body's acting up again. Allergies are back. Hope this actually makes sense.

I’ve been taking about 1/6 of a Mirzaten tablet just to help me sleep for a few months, and I definitely did my homework before starting.

Based on everything I've read, those immune issues you're talking about—which could point to something serious like leukopenia (low white blood cell count)—usually pop up right at the start, like within the first month of taking Mirzaten. If that happens, you're supposed to stop immediately.

Since you've been on it for much longer than that, I honestly don't think your allergic rhinitis is linked to the Mirzaten.

The kind of leukopenia associated with this medication usually comes with a high fever, a sore throat, mouth sores, and stuff like that.

So, regarding that specific concern, I think you can breathe easy.😉

Honestly, I always considered myself the absolute worst when it comes to obsessing over medications, but if you’ve done a deep dive into the data just for a 1/6th dose of Mirzaten, then I feel much better; there's really no way that tiny amount could hurt you. But how on earth do you even manage to cut it up? I struggle enough just trying to split a 15 mg pill in half, yet you’re essentially splitting a half of a half, right? Are you taking anything else alongside it?

I've become a pro at it :-D

I don't just split the tablet in half; I slice it into three horizontal strips, and then I take each of those little pieces and split them again. 😁

Trust me, Jason Vaughn482, if I stopped taking it right now, I'd have the exact same withdrawal symptoms as someone on a full dose. From everything I've read online, it's actually harder to get off the tiny doses than the big ones.

I take Ad Fevarin alongside my Mirzaten, and honestly, we're getting along great—it's been a happy little marriage for six months now. 🙂

And every two weeks, I treat myself to half a xanax like some junkie with a white powder habit. For me, that xanax feeling is just peak existence—that pure peace, warmth, and silence, followed by a blissful sleep about 20 minutes later. Aw, just beautiful. 🙂

I know you mentioned before that xanax doesn't work that way for you. 😉

Honestly, I never had any issues; I took 15 mg of Mirzaten for six months and simply stopped, feeling absolutely nothing afterward. A few months down the line, I started again, though at half the dosage, because I realized I couldn't drift off with just Ambien... so even now, sometimes I take it, sometimes I don't; if I manage to fall asleep naturally, I skip it. I didn't experience any side effects at the beginning, nor when I quit... absolutely nothing at all...
For me, xanax serves as a stabilizer to calm me down whenever I feel agitated; some days I take 1.5 mg, and other days, like today, I don't take a single pill. I've been doing this for three years now and haven't developed any tolerance whatsoever... though, frankly, I feel perfectly fine today having taken nothing at all.

Hey everyone, I know I’ve posted on this thread before, but I have a quick question for you all. I'm really curious to hear your general thoughts and experiences on this.
Ladiomil, Prozac, Leponex, Prazina, normabel. So, what do you guys think about this specific combo? What can actually be inferred from a list like that? Honestly, my gut feeling is that my psychiatrist has absolutely no clue what they're doing with me anymore... 😁
It feels like every single check-up results in a total overhaul of my meds. Based on our sessions, the doctor has decided I have Borderline Personality Disorder and severe depression.
I've been cycling through different prescriptions for years now. At this point, I can't even keep track of what I've taken versus what I haven't, and nothing seems to be working...
So, looking at this combination of drugs, is it actually normal that such a heavy load isn't helping me at all?

So you're taking two different antidepressants, two antipsychotics, and one benzodiazepine (normabel).

What's your actual diagnosis? Like, which DSM code are we talking about?

I've got three. F60.3 is basically the "final boss"—emotionally unstable personality disorder. But they also have me locked in with F31—bipolar disorder—and F25—schizoaffective disorder...

Man... is it just me, or has LeBron James completely killed the hype for everyone else?

Nope 😁
I’ve been on it for almost a year now and I am eating way too much. Honestly, I probably need to go on a diet. 😵
I don't really think it affects appetite that much; from what I've heard, Zyprexa is actually the culprit behind my weight gain. 🤷

For me, Lamal didn't touch my appetite at all, and neither does the Zyprexa I'm on right now. But I guess everyone reacts differently. Personally, Zyprexa packed on 65 pounds on me in just a few months. Seems like I'm not the only one dealing with this... 😁

I was on Zyprexa before I switched over to Lamal, and yeah, the weight gain was real there too. But honestly? I still can't stop snacking even though I'm off it now, so maybe that’s actually the Lamal messing with my head.

But you're spot on... Zyprexa is definitely the main culprit.

I put on 15 pounds from Loquex, but I can’t seem to gain any weight at all on Zyprexa. 😁 Honestly, I haven't gained a thing yet, even though I've been on it for about four months.

Don't feel bad about it! 😁 When I was on Zyprexa, I felt like even breathing the air made me gain fat. 😁

I wasn't even on it for that long—just a few months, really—but it didn't matter. The weight just kept climbing and climbing. It was relentless. 😠

I really regret not just telling my doctor I wanted to stop taking it after those first 10 pounds came off. Instead, I sat around waiting to pack on weight like crazy, only to go in later and complain about how much I hated the side effects.😁 It’s just weird, though... I keep hearing stories from people who seemed to drop the weight effortlessly right after, while I’ve been struggling with this for over a year now.

😲 😲 😲 😲 Give me a break... I'm starting to notice my pants are getting tighter too. 🤦 God, why is a decent night's sleep so damn expensive?

Between the Prozac, Clonazepam, Lamal, and Seroquel, I’ve lost weight on all of them.
The Prozac does it because it just wires me up; I'm so hyperactive I forget to eat.
Clonazepam makes me such a multitasking machine that I'm constantly juggling ten things at once and don't have a second to grab a bite.
As for Lamal... honestly, no clue why, but the hunger just vanishes when I take it.
Then there's Seroquel. It knocks me out cold. I sleep so much that I miss meal times entirely, and by the time I actually wake up, I'm not even hungry—I just grab a coffee and basically live off caffeine.

I actually came pretty close to anorexia because of the Prozac.
Though, if you ask me, anorexia feels like just another side effect of taking Prozac.
