Russia covers about 17 million square kilometers, which is roughly the size of the US and Brazil combined.
Africa spans about 30 million square kilometers.

That one at the top is just a cone shape, so it’s not really much to look at..

I remember back when I was a kid growing up in the States, there was this logo on the local news that actually did a pretty decent job of showing off a 2D model.

But man, where did we go wrong? We've totally lost the plot, my friend...

I’ve only been naturalized on this forum.
If you actually heard me speak American English, you’d realize my accent sits somewhere right in the middle of a CBS news anchor and a guy from a rural dive bar in the Midwest—depending, of course, on how much bourbon I've had. 😂

P.S. Glory to Ukraine and its heroes. 👍

The Russians have once again proven they only aim for high-value strategic targets—they absolutely nailed this combine harvester out in the middle of a field with some seriously precise strikes.
Sadly though, it looks like they might have misidentified their target, mistaking a peaceful piece of farm equipment for the legendary Ukrainian tractor that’s basically the natural predator of Russian armor.

Just squeeze Russia with those sanctions. 😉

Before this war started, the Russian Army had this massive reputation, you know? Tanks, jets, satellites, robot dogs, advanced armor... the whole nine yards. But now, it looks like the crew can't even tell a harvester apart from combat equipment. On top of that, they're getting held back by the Ukrainian Army using relatively little NATO tech and zero—and I mean zero—NATO soldiers. They're struggling so much they've started making up these childish excuses about Ukrainian soldiers being on super-drugs to turn them into super-soldiers.

The level of amateurism and incompetence they're showing is just... wow. And honestly, I guess what's even worse is the total, complete disregard for human life, whether it's the other side or their own guys. We're talking tens of thousands dead and probably a hundred thousand wounded on both sides. And all for what? For one old guy in the Kremlin?

I believe I have stumbled upon a video clip where Konashenkov repeatedly makes reference to the "liberation" of one specific city. If anyone happens to have the link handy, I would truly appreciate it if you could post it here. 😁

☕Why even act surprised? Everyone thought they had a powerhouse military, but now we see it was just a paper tiger...

And things are gonna stay this way for the next 30 or 40 years. As for the elite political establishment, 🙂I bet anything besides raw force is totally foreign to them...🙂Now they're gonna take a beating in Ukraine, and then they've got real trouble coming from their neighbors in Asia—from China to whoever else. They'll have so many problems that this whole mess in Ukraine will feel like a tiny cough compared to what's coming.

Right, and I guess Americans also have to land in Europe first just to hit Russia. Because, you know, they clearly can't just cross the top or bottom edges of the map! 😵

Otherwise, the air distance between the USA and Russia via the Bering Strait is 62 miles. That's about the same distance as Chicago to Ljubljana. In maritime terms, it's even less than Zadar to Ancona, or even Split-Palagruža.

What are your thoughts on the likelihood of the Chechens turning against Russia and declaring independence once again? It seems to me that any separatist movement is bound to face this kind of reckoning eventually, perhaps even within the century.

All it takes is for everyone with separatist ambitions to start hitting the representatives of the Russian repressive apparatus—you know, the military, the police, the FBI, the National Guard. If they do that, the Russians will be forced to divert troops just to maintain order in those regions.
It doesn't even require an all-out revolt against official Moscow.

And then you've got heavy hitters like Monaco, Liechtenstein, and San Marino on there too.

We seriously need to de-nazify Micronesia. It’s basically a known breeding ground for Nazis.🙄🙏

Man, Kadyrov is just Putin's lapdog. Honestly, if things really went south, he'd probably be the first one swinging from a gallows, so he’ll definitely keep fighting against his own people. I mean, it seems like Russia doesn't really have allies, just vassals.

Alright, Kadyrov has been effectively tamed. But the real question remains—just how much longer will his Chechens stay loyal and keep dying for Putin's personal obsessions?

...and then, just as the show wraps up, boom—one HIMARS strike to finish the job!

John Kirby, the National Security Council communications coordinator, noted that the latest $270 million aid package will feature tactical drones and medium-range missile systems.

According to Kirby, this most recent infusion pushes the total amount of American assistance provided to Ukraine since the start of the Biden administration to $8.2 billion, all unfolding as Russia's war in Ukraine enters its fifth month.

Kirby further mentioned that Biden is expected to greenlight additional aid packages in the coming weeks and months.

The breakdown of the new package includes:

Four HIMARS rocket systems along with extra ammunition for them
Four command vehicles
36,000 rounds of 105 mm ammunition
3,000 anti-armor weapons
Spare parts and miscellaneous equipment
Up to 580 "Phoenix Ghost" tactical kamikaze drones.

Phoenix Ghost:

Kirby points out that Ukraine has now received a total of 20 MLRS units, consisting of 16 HIMARS from the USA and various others from their allies.

In the Kherson area, Russian forces reportedly struck the famous Adzhigol lighthouse with three separate projectiles, damaging a site that serves as both an architectural landmark and a major local tourist draw.

Regional Deputy Council official Serhii Khlan reported the incident on July 22, citing accounts from local residents.
“This is the tallest lighthouse in Ukraine, situated near the town of Rybalche. There were two hits on the base and one direct hit to the structure itself," Khlan posted on Facebook.

“There is a certain irony in the fact that it was originally built by the Russian engineer Volodymyr Shukhov. That modern metal design gave the lighthouse its striking aesthetic appeal and made it a destination for travelers—USPS even issued a commemorative stamp featuring it back in the day,” the blogger added.

☕Not until they've looted every single combine and tractor in Ukraine to haul back to Chechnya. There's TVs, computers, all that tech—fridges, freezers, irons, meat grinders, wood stoves, pallets, garage tools... you name it. They're grabbing everything. It's just starting to get tricky for them to actually move all that stolen gear through the logistics lines...🙂🤣
