Russ says Ukrainians are just spinning yarns and there’s no such thing as a breakthrough:

"Vasily Nebenzya was speaking at the UN Security Council session, and he made it pretty clear—there is absolutely zero talk of any breakthrough by Ukrainian troops during this counteroffensive. He thinks the folks in Kyiv are just trying to manufacture this illusion that they can actually strike back, just so they can play the victim and beg for more weapons, especially right before today’s NATO defense ministers meeting over at Ramstein," he claimed.

"I mean, how much can we even wrap our heads around this? Even the leadership within the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to push back against this madness, but apparently, the top guy in Ukraine wouldn't budge after chatting with his American and British counterparts. And what's the result? You've got fields near New Orleans and Zaporizhzhia, and even the woods near Kharkiv, just littered with thousands of dead Ukrainian soldiers who were sent on a suicide mission because their commanders wouldn't let them pull back," Nebenzya said.

According to him, sure, the Ukrainian military might have grabbed a couple of tiny peripheral villages here and there, but "of course, there's no such thing as a real breakthrough."

“The military experts see right through this. But you know how it goes—the Western media is already blaring about how Ukraine has launched its counteroffensive and how we all need to rush in with more Western hardware to support them. It’s all just setting the stage, creating the perfect media backdrop for that meeting in Ramstein,” the representative insisted.

As long as the Ukrainians keep up their performance and keep the rest of the European Union entertained, we might as well keep the support flowing.👍

I mean, let’s be real about this ambassador guy—he’s actually the last person you should be listening to, right? I remember him back in the day claiming that those bodies they found in Bucha were nothing more than hired actors playing parts, so how on earth can anyone take his word for anything now? Honestly, if you believe that kind of nonsense, you're basically asking to be lied to.

It wouldn't be much of a stretch to suggest this actually describes what happened to the Russ soldiers while attempting to fall back to their lines.

Is this actually their position—or just a little performance to make it look like they tolerate dissenting voices?

What’s the word on the state-run news networks back home?
Is there any hope left for the mighty Russian bear, that supposed global superpower?

Evgeny Buzhinsky, a retired general from the Russian Armed Forces, is making the claim that the Ukrainian military is absolutely saturated with American personnel: “It isn't just advisors we're talking about; it's specialists. I believe there are thousands of American advisors and technical experts on the ground in Ukraine, likely embedded within every single unit.”

During his Full Contact radio broadcast this past Wednesday, the Kremlin’s lead propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov—looking visibly battered—admitted, “I’m concerned. Naturally, we want our boys to break through and just keep pushing forward, but that’s not how life works.” Solovyov declined to comment on how he sustained his injuries, though his bruised ego was on full display given the recent Ukrainian military successes.

While hosting the state-run 60 Minutes program on Wednesday, host Evgeny Popov remarked, "We wish courage to our warriors, who are performing an incredibly vital task by resisting a massive horde trained by the West."

They're already laying the groundwork to spin the losses—claiming it wasn't the Ukrainians who beat them, but the Americans.

As soon as the front line starts crumbling, everyone jumps straight to these wild delusions about how NATO special forces are secretly operating in Ukraine, supposedly just "on vacation" or something. 🙏🙏

The most aggressive pro-Russian comment I’ve encountered regarding the offensive claims that Ukrainians have Russian blood in them.

As far as I can tell, they've always been the opposition party.

Naturally.
Ukrainians are essentially just Russians.
Regardless of who actually comes out on top in this war, the victory will belong to Russia. 🎉

Yeah, I get that—but in a setup like this, it's sometimes hard to believe anyone with a different perspective could actually "stay in power."

Are we fighting NATO soldiers, Ukrainians, lab-grown mutants, or those people spreading dark magic...?
Obviously not—Russians and Ukrainians are brothers, part of one single nation. We really need to move past how Ukrainians were treated as subhuman.

Unfortunately, they aren't really "in power." This whole concept of "local municipal government" is mostly just theater rather than anything substantial. It feels more like a fossilized relic left over from a brief period of genuine democracy back in the day.

This has to be one of the absolute lowest points yet.
To just mock a man in front of cameras and the whole world... honestly, it's just gross.

Sadly, though maybe a few more will wake up eventually.

I suppose it's similar to how some people here would wander through American towns that were burned down back in '91 and just endlessly moan about Harmon's little henchmen.

There’s this specific faction in Russia—call them a movement or just a fringe group—that tries to claim the Holocaust is a myth. Their whole angle is that it was some Satanist fabrication designed to make everyone who isn't a Jew feel guilty. Some people take it even further, claiming the whole thing was staged by Jews themselves. Honestly, does it surprise anyone that Lavrov would mention Hitler having Jewish blood? They love the idea that every single atrocity was just filmed on a movie set with actors, or that Ukrainians are actually killing their own people. Even that ambassador's take on Bucha fits right into that pattern.
It’s the same logic they use to claim the attack on the Theater in Mariupol was just a freak accident caused by nationalists blowing themselves up. To them, everything is a false flag. At this rate, they’ll probably start claiming Russian soldiers are just seeing ghosts in Ukraine too.

About a year and a half ago, I ended up getting detained because I spat in someone's face. I basically leveled the guy after he started openly spitting on the Jews in our neighborhood. I have Tatar roots, but I told him straight up that I'm a Jew and asked what his problem was with my ethnicity. He went on such an aggressive tirade against me that it gave me enough opening to smash his "Great Russian" nose into a bloody mess.
P.S. Right after the scuffle, I had to sprint to a lab to get my blood tested. I wasn't exactly sure if my opponent was playing it safe regarding COVID, AIDS, or even hepatitis. 🤦

@Jessica Peterson2, I was wondering, how is the media landscape over in Russia actually portraying this Ukrainian offensive near Kupiansk? Is there any actual coverage at all, or are they just completely ignoring it?
