I don't know, maybe he was thinking about NATO stepping directly into Ukraine or Russia launching their ICBMs, because let's be real, a Russian conquest of Europe isn't some realistic scenario we need to be losing sleep over.

Word on the street is they’re actually sending about 10% of the FSB's active duty staff over to Ukraine just to "boost troop morale." Honestly, getting some serious NKVD vibes from that one.

They never actually abandoned those NKVD methods. In essence, it has always been the same agency since the days of Imperial Russia; they simply rebranded every few decades.
These agents answer to no one except the Tsar (Vladimir Putin) and their own directors.

Z888-Progenitor said:The actual war is only just beginning, and the collective West has nothing to hope for. They represent about 12% of the world and certainly do not constitute what is called the international community. They are merely a small subset of it. The world is changing rapidly and irreversibly toward a truly multipolar reality. Spheres of influence and red lines exist, and they should not be crossed under any circumstances.
The dream of a Western NWO is officially dead. Global affairs and history are moving in an entirely different direction.

Even if that were true, Russia would not be part of this new world order. You present your thesis as if Russians are thriving demographically and economically. 🤣If Europe is failing, imagine how fast Russia is collapsing.

If anyone actually launches those things, pretty much the entire Northern Hemisphere vanishes in a heartbeat. At that point, the whole Ukraine situation becomes completely irrelevant.😁

My point was that the USA needs a much more aggressive approach..
If they had issued a real threat—something along the lines of "attack Ukraine and Moscow burns"—this wouldn't even be happening.
HIMARS are fine, but they aren't enough; they need more heavy weaponry..
The EU—specifically Germany and France—would probably hand everything over to Moscow on a silver platter if they could just keep getting cheap gas without anyone bothering them..
As long as Americans keep providing aid, another 300,000 Russians will roll in; right now, they need tools to wipe them out in the south..
Watching Joe Biden's reactions is practically a sedative—the old man is so senile he barely knows if he's arriving or leaving.
The Germans promised tanks, yet here we are, seeing absolutely nothing..
Biden could pressure Olaf Scholz, but it’s all a calculation—it suits them for the war to drag on, so they send just enough to keep things barely moving..
They don't care about the massive losses Ukraine will endure during a prolonged conflict..
And then, the second I wake up these "sleepy" types, the West immediately tries to deflect by questioning my origins—throwing out names like Smederevo or Nikšić like it matters..
I was actually in Ukraine back in December; my girlfriend is a Ukrainian woman, and if supporting them makes me an outsider, then so be it—I am behind them unconditionally..
Glory to Ukraine!

That’s essentially what Donald Trump told Putin once—"Touch Ukraine and I'll burn Moscow to the ground." There’s actually a transcript of that conversation out there somewhere.
Putin just laughed it off, I suppose, but during Trump's term, nothing ever actually happened on the ground in Ukraine.

Comparing them to Biden's reactions... you could practically fall asleep. The old man is so senile he probably can't even tell if he's walking in or out of a room.

Yeah...

So, what’s our "braggart neighbor" actually doing to prep for the vote on kicking Russia out of the UN Security Council?

We're looking at ethnic cleansing on both sides here...

The kind of person who thinks that's acceptable—someone who would actually pull the trigger on a nuclear strike if they knew no one could strike back.

I don't know what movie you think you're watching here. The war is ongoing and the roles are shifting slowly. I guess those 300,000 reservists aren't going to change much, other than maybe more Russians coming home in body bags, which might finally make them realize this isn't some kind of joke. The West hasn't even flinched, and honestly, probably won't. Support for Ukraine across the board is going to keep flowing for as long as it takes. There's really no limit on weapons or money. Whatever it takes, it'll happen.

Now they’re out in the streets demanding parts of Ukraine be annexed. 🤷 At this rate, they might start asking for chunks of the Moon or specific plots of the Milky Way. I wonder which country would even bother giving them a permit for their luggage there.

It’s basically Black Friday for the Euro, though I guess the Pound is feeling the squeeze too. Between the election results coming out of Italy over the weekend and all those referendums happening in the republics within Ukraine... man, Monday is going to be absolutely wild.

It’s the same old story: the ones protesting against the war get hauled off to recruitment, while the people who actually support the war don't even bother showing up or volunteering. Honestly, Orwell couldn't have scripted a more twisted reality if he tried.

Fine. Let's say he drops one. Or two. They don't even need to be massive—maybe 10 kilotons? Enough to level most of Washington, D.C. Who’s going to react? Who’s going to retaliate? And who wants to gamble with the total collapse of civilization in the Northern Hemisphere?

It's funny how everyone just ignores that famous line from Zakharov about how "Europe is wrong to think Russia can lose this." People ignored it too much. That’s exactly why we’re in this mess. ☕

The sheer audacity of Russia is off the charts. They’re actually out here pointing fingers at Ukraine for the exact same crimes they themselves were forced (?) to commit. It’s insane. They basically admit to mass atrocities and then throw out a shameless accusation all in one single breath.

Using a weapon like that would set a precedent where Putin (or whoever is next in line) could just keep doing it over and over... because of that, you have to be crystal clear that such a move won't be tolerated, regardless of the fallout. Otherwise, this cycle never ends.

Does it even matter what those Russian officials are blathering about?

I mean, look, most people just bounce between "not my problem" and "well, I guess I should start digging my own grave," so who cares when someone says "most people"? What actually matters is listening to the folks who actually know what's going on under the hood. And let's be real, Americans are actually pretty sharp at tracking and predicting this stuff, so if they aren't sweating the Russian threats too much, it's because they have their reasons—and yeah, they definitely have a playbook ready to go if those guys decide to throw a "little" tantrum.

Instead of pulling from the Yakut, Circassian, Tatar, Dagestani, or Chuvash regions... you could find as many volunteers as you want right in the heart of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

High-quality material for the front. They should have been recruited at the protest immediately, though I fear half the federal bureaucracy might go missing by the following day...

Meanwhile, Russia actually had its head on straight, thinking the West wouldn't even blink at Moscow's next aggressive move.

But yeah, it's usually just the folks who loudly cheer for the West while having zero intention of actually getting in on the fight themselves—kind of like this:

I want to know if there is even a mechanism for this. It is a farce. Having someone like Lavrov walking around there acting like a legitimate diplomat is ridiculous. He’s a total Ribbentrop and deserves nothing less than the gallows.

As for those colleagues lamenting that America isn't trying hard enough anymore—slow down. I am certain the lights stay on 24/7 in some offices in Virginia. 👍

Let’s be real, the UN is long overdue for a complete overhaul.

Nonsense.

First, the actual state of the Russian nuclear arsenal is highly questionable. Their last atomic test was back in 1989. We have had seven months to observe their hardware, and it is clear that corruption has taken its toll.

But even if that weren't the case, if Russia were to deploy a tactical nuke, it would cross a red line so significant that even their so-called allies, like China and Iran, would be forced to condemn them and step back. That would give the West a green light to intervene in Ukraine. As a defensive measure, NATO could also introduce a specific number of tactical nuclear warheads into Ukraine. However, the conflict would remain conventional.

Within two weeks, NATO would push the Russians out of Ukraine, and likely out of Crimea as well.
Russia would become the next North Korea, and for the next 50 years, no one would buy a single barrel of their oil or cubic meter of gas. It would set Russia's economy and technology back a century.
