lost an hour and a half of my life, but whatever...
what can I even say... they basically just pulled it out of thin air
everything’s been sold off, everything's recycled. It's boring as hell. They really think it's "so cool" how they keep throwing in stuff from old sequels, but it's all so uninspired that you can't even remember who did what or why any of it matters...

stupid ending through and through, and of course, they gotta announce part 5 right away... 🙂

So, what on earth are they planning for part five? Seriously, was part four not enough? I honestly can't wrap my head around their logic here—it feels like they’re actively searching for new ways to make the franchise even more tedious than it already is.

It's finally over, hahaha! The premiere was last night! 😍 I'm dying to see it!!!! Hey, Sarah Lopez6, any chance you can film some of it if you're there—and is the picture quality actually decent?? What can I get you in return?? 😛

man, the footage isn't even that bad for a security cam version, just has some focus issues with the characters and he had to dodge the cameras from security a couple of times during the movie, so it's basically just audio, lol, but whatever, not like it matters much...

so, I saw Saw III in theaters and told myself there's no way I'm wasting more money on this franchise. I straight up fell asleep—honestly one of the most boring movies ever made.
now with Saw4 I'm thinking maybe it's not quite as dull, but it's the same old trick—just a total repeat. It feels like most people only watch these just to see the different ways they get butchered because the studio has run out of ideas for better flicks—so Saw4 kicks off with an autopsy, and they really pushed those details, everything is laid out right there in front of you, which is supposed to be terrifying, lol...

I don't know, Saw was good. You actually got to know two characters and their backstory, and the other traps kept you hooked for a second just to see what was happening, which was great...

all the others are just getting stupider by the minute. They try to kill off as many people as possible, but the audience couldn't care less about the characters or when they're gonna kick the bucket; we just want to see the method. And it's totally dumb how they follow the exact same recipe every single step—you know from the start they've scrambled everything so you can't figure anything out just to "surprise" you at the end, but you can do that once. By the third time, you aren't even trying to solve it, you're just waiting for the end to go, "aha, okay, done..."
but the ending of 4 is just ridiculous. It's like they had a chalkboard that said "we ran out of ideas, just throw something in here."

and on top of all that, they hammered the same line twice during the movie just to shove it down your throat that 5 is coming. 🙄

I thought the third one was solid too, but I feel like we've seen it all before. Just a heads up, they've already announced the sixth installment

I still remember sitting there watching the original. It was actually a pretty decent horror-thriller—it had that cold, jarring twist at the end that really caught everyone off guard, which is exactly what turned so many people into lifelong fans of Saw. Personally, I thought that > was fine, and I was happy enough to leave it at that. A while later, I sat down with some friends to skim through the second installment, and it didn't take long to realize the pattern: just like its predecessor, the rest of the franchise was clearly headed downhill. It felt like a massive waste of time, so I didn't even bother touching the third one—I already knew exactly what kind of ride I was signing up for, let alone the fourth. Maybe one day, once I’ve worked my way through my entire watchlist and find myself staring at a dead-end Monday night with absolutely nothing to do, Saw III or IV might end up on the table. If they do, they'll be my only options—nothing else even comes close. Once a movie hits that level of success, you just know exactly where the studio is going to take it...

I’m honestly getting sick of this Saw franchise. The first movie was decent enough, I guess, but nothing spectacular. As for the sequels? They're just unnecessary filler.☕

It feels more like sitting through some damn 90-minute music video.
I swear, Jigsaw shows up more often in this one than he did when he was actually alive.
I honestly have no clue who finds this stuff appealing—how does this even land a 7.0 on IMDb?
If someone had told me a few years ago that the leads in one of the most hyped movies of the year would be Costas Mandylor from "cottage in flowers" and Donnie Wahlberg from "New Kids on the Block"...

I watched the first one and thought it was great. Everyone says the sequel is the best and the third one is total trash. As for the fourth... I haven't seen it yet. But if it's got a 7.0 on IMDb, it's probably worth a watch...

"What the fuck is the world coming to" basically means "how to save the world"... or rather, what a mess things have become.
The first installment is right up there with "Seven". It actually has a plot, an atmosphere, and a mysterious killer.
The rest of them are usually just milking the first one with shallow, one-dimensional characters and overly complicated plots that they try to hide behind bloodier, grosser scenes.
In that sense, the third one is slightly less bad than the second because the traps feel more original.
And the fourth one is just awful. I don't even want to think about what the fifth or sixth might be like...

Personally, I think Saw is one of the absolute best franchises out there... all three of them... But hey, whatever, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion...

I think Cam Ver just hit theaters here in the States, so it's probably available to download already. But based on the box office numbers, that first one must have pulled in a massive amount of cash...

I haven't caught the fourth installment yet, but I'm definitely planning to watch it soon. 😁

I took a look, but I didn't really see😁 much because this camera version is just way too dark. From what I could gather, the movie is pretty hard to follow—it seems to lean entirely on massive blood splatters, constant screaming, and nauseating torture sequences. The traps are still brutal, sure 😈, but that voice on the tape recorder is starting to grate on my nerves—it’s always the same repetitive nonsense. There isn't anything fresh about this flick—it's just pure recycling.
