Static Shock

So, I’m talking about those little kiosks you see everywhere in bars and coffee shops, you know, the ones playing music or those arcade games...

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone here actually knows where someone might be able to find the software for those things?

I doubt it'll go anywhere... it’s probably pretty secure... I tried pulling the hard drive out of one of those devices back in the day to see if I could grab everything, but I couldn't get past the encryption, so I just settled for ripping all the music instead.

I mean, I honestly cannot believe there isn't a single place on the internet to just download this thing. If it doesn't exist, then I swear, this is going to be the first thing in my entire life that I actually can't find anywhere online somewhere

Man, that sounds pretty intense and dangerous if you try to mess with it yourself. Your best bet is probably just plugging something straight into your computer and trying to record the audio feed directly from there.

As for which adapters you’d need or how to actually wire the thing up, honestly, I haven't got a clue,
you really ought to ask a pro at an auto shop how to handle it. Those guys know their stuff and can tell you exactly which wire does what without blowing anything up.

Like, when I had a new stereo installed in my truck, I didn't have any of the right connectors, so the mechanic just cut all the wires and spliced them together manually to get it working.
