Well, it sounds fine...

But it’s honestly ridiculous when you look at where they actually pulled it from...

That's exactly why I mentioned it, since you claimed it was "from some cartoon"... 🤣

I tracked down this video for you all; blue and white run through my veins, so feel free to give it a listen if it speaks to you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbPd2...eature=related
I’m having a bit of a hard time searching for Nacin Života on YouTube. 😁

urbanhawk10 said:Man, they just sing those songs for hours on end. Does anyone have a clip of them singing, besides that one from our pre-game warmup? Is there maybe some footage from the stands? Honestly, I think that Colonia Rijeka edit is the best version out there.

They belt it out forever—it kicks in at 0:32 and again at 1:28 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srANTOmfXzs

And you can hear everyone chanting "Cleveland is the best" every once in a while.

The armada talks a big game about being "original," yet they sing this stuff... I mean, look. If people are singing along, the song works. It means the club gets that loud, unified support, which is really all that matters, right? Should they just stop singing certain songs because some random guys on an internet forum are complaining? If they want to lecture everyone about originality, maybe they should realize they aren't any more unique than any other group out there. It’s all the same formula everywhere in the world—just different colors.

Who actually sang "our flags and scarves wave..." in the original?
I mean, everyone from us to those jerks and the whole damn cohort sings it.

The die-hard supporters would probably claim it.

The real issue with most of the rip-offs we see today is that they're all just hand-me-downs from 15 or 20 years ago. Back then, nobody gave a damn about copyright; as long as the song sounded good and got the crowd moving, it was fine.
Everything is different now. People are way more careful. Plus, back in the day, we didn't have cameras everywhere or YouTube to instantly capture and broadcast every single new chant once it hits the stands. It makes proving who actually came up with what a lot harder than it used to be.

It seems to me that even here, within their own thread, the armada does far less TALKING than
certain individuals.....

Look, we still have those songs from back in the old days and the early 90s that aren't technically ours—who actually ripped them off is a question we’ll probably never agree on, so I honestly don't even see the point in getting into those arguments. But if we're talking about the last decade or so? There are definitely no copies there. If anything, people are copying us. We’ve got plenty of our own covers where nobody sang it before we did—the messages, the choreography... we were even the ones who first started using those little signs and flags on sticks. So, it kind of pisses me off when people try to claim we're the ones copying others, especially when it's coming from folks in places like Chicago or Philly.

I have no idea how long they've been singing that one, but here’s a clip from last year

Since we’re already talking about songs, what about that one lyric, "And when troubles come and hope fades, the Navy fans will always love you"?
Maybe I've got it wrong or something, I don't know, it's been a really long time since I last heard it.

Honestly, besides BBB and Torca, I don't really see anyone else as a serious supporter group. The Navy shows up for the big games against our rivals and that’s about it. Other groups can't even hit 500 people at any of their 50 away trips...
So, trying to compare those tiny little cliques to the two main heavyweights is just crazy.
Some groups step up a bit, others fade out, and that's how it goes. You can compare Torca and BBB, or you can compare those small groups among themselves, but that's it. In my opinion, the Navy doesn't really have a peer because they sit right in that gap between the big two and all those smaller crowds. ☕

The Navy fans, bravo—everything was perfect. Your cheering sounded great on TV. It’s such a shame the folks over at ESPN didn't have the ear for such beautiful, authentic choreography, and they only showed the flares by accident through one random camera angle.

Honestly, there’s just no point in arguing over this kind of nonsense... everyone knows how much actual sweat and heart went into all of this.. we should probably just move on and focus on the next car..

That’s exactly what I was getting at. Honestly, don't even waste your breath—just ignore the idiot (you know exactly who I mean) and stop linking him to Kohort because he probably isn't even part of that crowd anyway... Look, let's just focus on us, our club, and this group... We've got some new games coming up, and I say we go out there and grab that first win of the spring. Let's get the squad's spirits up so maybe there's actually something worth watching next year. As for big events, we've got the anniversary celebration coming up at San Francisco in about a month..

Honestly, that might be the best first post I've ever seen on this entire board.. 👍

Kudos to the Navy for that choreography—really original stuff, definitely haven't seen anything like it around here before...

Bravo 👍

Navy, seriously... you guys have zero limits when it comes to being creative
The choreography was pretty slick—super original, at least by any standard we see around here. The only thing missing was that third mast on the southern pole.
The pyrotechnics were top-tier, too.
Keep it up
