person—that choreography was absolute garbage, totally missed the mark. The pyrotechnics? Meh, nothing special. And the chanting? Just straight-up terrible. Everyone’s out here acting like it was some huge deal, praising you guys, but honestly, you just aren't used to seeing anything decent, so don't go getting a big head about it...-)

Honestly, I’d love to see people get banned just for pushing those mindless arguments about "originality." The second someone starts accusing a group of lacking originality—BAM—☕

Stealing, borrowing, or copying happens in way more serious industries than sports fandom, so this whole debate is pretty much pointless. Plus, half the time, the accusations themselves are totally fake...

And I say this as someone who has written dozens of catchy terrace anthems (and many more that haven't hit the mainstream yet), some of which get blasted at both LA Galaxy games and over in Mexico... 😉

🤣 🤣 🤣Well, don't everyone praise me at once.

mistycanyon2 said:Look, I love the local fans to death, but I have to admit that the setup for the game against LA Galaxy at San Francisco was pretty impressive. There was just something about that choreography. Plus, the flares were actually quite a sight—compared to most other groups (well, except for an NFL fan club), the sheer amount of them was definitely worth noting.

we are their idols😍

LA Galaxy vs. Cleveland, 2007/2008. (person)

First, the BBB pulled off that paper choreography back in 2005. Then, a couple of years later, a person organized a march—which was actually quite nice, and carried a solid message. But honestly, would they even bother doing that at Yankee Stadium if the BBB had already set the tone against Cleveland?

To BBB logo looks more like a cross representing the group's founding year, at least from this angle. On the other hand, the NATO symbol is modeled after a compass—something our choreographer used to represent traveling the world, which explains why there's a map in the background. If you want to dig deeper, the emblem is also a nod to the Stone Island brand, which is a staple among fans across Europe. Speaking of crosses and numbers, keep in mind that a similar display was once put on by the person in 2004 during a match against LA Galaxy...

Between 2001 and 2003:

I realize the image is small—you can find larger versions on the site—but the point is that flag on the fence. That flag was made back around 2000, if I recall correctly... so let's get one thing straight: neither did you invent that symbol, nor did we copy yours. Period.

That flag was actually made even earlier, perhaps one or two years prior, considering it was already waving around in 1999 during the Cleveland - New York Yankees game.

As far as I can tell, we were the ones who pulled off that NATO symbol first, and right after NATO bombed Mexico 😁 ... and that was five years before you guys even thought of it 🙂

We put that up at Yankee Stadium specifically because we knew you guys had never done anything like that choreo before. If we actually wanted to rip you off, we would’ve staged it at some other stadium just to act stupid. Looking back at that 2005 game, we actually struggled just getting into the stadium—most people didn't even get in until halfway through the first half because LA Galaxy jacked up the ticket prices to $17 and most of the crowd couldn't afford them. Back then, internet wasn't what it is now, so nobody even saw your little display

By the way, the whole point wasn't about the NATO logo. When we were designing that choreo, the idea was to use a compass, and we picked that specific one because it's the most striking. If we had intended to copy you, we would have just used some other shape of a compass

The whole point of this choreo is our song "wherever Cleveland goes, we go—we'd even go to Mars." So, when we came up with it, the idea was to emphasize how we follow the club always and everywhere. In that sense, nobody in America had done anything like it, and it was something totally fresh, regardless of whether certain elements had popped up in other choreos on our scene... And if you ask me, it's one of our strongest displays, especially during away games, and it carries real fan spirit... WITH OUR CLUB ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE!

That "your" flag you had waving in the stands back in '99 was the NATO flag that I posted earlier in this thread.

I am simply pointing out that we used that NATO symbol for a choreo against Cleveland back in 2005, surrounding it with NDKZ letters (though I see you guys use the HNK logo on your site now... and you have that little HNK logo too).
And you lot used that exact same NATO symbol at Yankee Stadium, though it was two or three years later.
That is the entire point of my post. It isn't about when the NATO symbol was created, or when the Stone Island logo appeared, or when the compass was invented.
The bottom line? The BBB used the NATO symbol for a display against Cleveland before you ever did, and then you retaliated by using it against LA Galaxy at Yankee Stadium.

Look, I understood the choreography immediately. It’s great—don't worry, that's why I praised both the parade's look and the message.
But the fact remains: that is a NATO symbol, and the BBB used it for a display against Cleveland before any individual person did.

Here is that NATO flag you were waving against the New York Yankees during the bombings in Mexico.

I get it, the NATO colors are "ours and yours"...http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/4219/flagofthenato.jpg
I don't think anyone has ever mentioned NATO this many times in a single post. (Nine times, to be precise.)

So, we just copied you. Why don't you run out to the backyard and go take care of yourself real quick...

Are you happy now?

Look, I already laid out all the details for you regarding that NATO symbol. I’m telling you, we had absolutely no clue what that choreography was supposed to be. If we actually knew, I’m positive they would’ve just used some other icon to represent a compass instead of that specific NATO emblem. Honestly, NATO is just screwing us over at this point. 😁

Stop smashing the drums and tearing down the flags, or rather, the poles.😍👍

Apparently, every group needs that one person who memorizes every single dance move, flag pattern, and anthem from their rivals over the last two decades just to avoid a "plagiarism" accusation. Honestly, why even bother? What's the point in stressing over this?

Honestly, you're talking nonsense. It’s honestly ridiculous to even bring up words like "plagiarism" or "copying" here. These debates about who copied whom are just silly—in today's sports and entertainment world, if something feels familiar, it's because something similar has already been done somewhere else. Most of the choreography and song melodies out there are based on stuff that came out ages ago, so these arguments are pretty much pointless.

Does anyone have a video where they sing those lyrics, "and sings for hours," plus that other one—I can't remember her name—but it goes something like, "you are our greatest joy," or "let a thousand voices rise," something like that? 😍 Look, I’d really appreciate it if someone could just drop the link here. 👍
