Hey there,

I was hoping someone could take a look at these specs and tell me what you think:

Intel Core i5 @ 3.3GHz
4 GB Kingmax DDR3 RAM (2x2GB)
GeForce GTX 2GB DDR5
40 GB Intel SSD
500 GB Western Digital HDD
MSI P67A-C45 Motherboard
Some random Cooler Master case
Corsair 550W PSU

The Computer is about 3 years old now.

Thanks,

Close $1000, I just hope you aren't selling it for this:

Anyway... overclocked processor, another 4GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX.

Hey everyone.

Is it actually realistic to be looking for
CPU:
Intel Core i3 3.40GHz
Motherboard:
ASRock 85X Extreme4

this kind of setup $267 (the CPU still has a year of warranty left)

Honestly, 650-$233, but you could probably start with $250.

Greetings

I am looking for an appraisal on this build:

KINGSTON FURY 8GB 1600
ASUS ROG Strix
ASUS 7770 1GB
SEASONIC 620 EVO
Western Digital 500GB
TERMALTAKE A21

Everything is older hardware except for the graphics card, which was purchased five months ago and is still under warranty.

Is that actually 8GB of RAM?

$500...

He probably meant two 2GB sticks of RAM 🤔 But if there's actually 8GB in there, then it's more like 200-$100 more.

Dear all, I would be most grateful if you could provide your expert opinion on this particular computer setup🤔
http://www.ebay.com/itm/pc-computers/r...listing-13757321
Do you believe it represents a fair value for the asking price?

Thank you all so very much in advance for your assistance!🙏

No. For that kind of money, I've seen much newer and more powerful Computers
Does it have to be from that county?

WEI = 3? Man, definitely not... I mean, I guess if you really care about getting that legit software the guy is throwing in, then maybe, since Microsoft Office and macOS alone are worth at least $167...but that's assuming it's actually genuine software and not some cracked version, you know? If you strip away all that software, the Computer itself is probably worth $167 if I'm being generous, maybe even less than that...

That’s one of those PepsiCo cases that comes with a built-in 500W power supply, though I wouldn't exactly trust it to be anything special.

Thank you all so much for your responses... so, I suppose it isn't worth it after all... at least, that is my takeaway from this discussion. If I ultimately decide to go through with the purchase, what kind of offer do you think would be reasonable to make?

I mean, my main priority is simply that everything functions correctly... I need macOS, Microsoft Office, YouTube, watching movies, checking my email, browsing the web, and all that sort of thing...

And yes... if they happen to be based in Cleveland or even just the surrounding area... if there is anything on eBay you would recommend to me...🙂

$500$200 is the absolute ceiling here; anything more is just throwing money away. I have my doubts about whether this software is even legitimate—he didn't explicitly confirm it—and given how much he's padding the price, it feels off. Plus, if those wins are just being run through a loader, the entire software component is essentially worthless to me.

Take this one for example. Even though he hasn't laid out every single spec, you're looking at a full PC on a modern AM3 platform with a superior processor and a much more reasonable price tag.

The runner-up would be this link. You get less storage, but it comes with a dedicated GPU, which doesn't really matter if you aren't gaming anyway.

Or you could go with this option featuring the quad-core setup.

Every single one of these is an incomparably better deal.

I’d probably pass on this one since they don't specify the processor, so it’s likely some weak little thing.

I probably messed up the link; there were quite a few of those LGA 775 dual cores available
