😕
I've actually never even been there myself. I was just asking if that was the place. A friend of mine lives in that neighborhood.

Eric Davis54 said:And what about the price tag?

The cookies are typically priced at $33/lb, though if you're picking up more than 33 lbs, the rate drops to $28/lb—which works out to $30 if you agree to use their specific scales.

My bad, sorry! I got mixed up... someone mentioned they tried the pastries there and didn't really care for them, so I assumed you were talking about yourself... sorry about that...

I’m definitely going to give them a shot and let you guys know how they turn out!
And yeah, I am absolutely hitting that 220-pound goal before the wedding! 🙂

Look, they might not be your cup of tea, but they worked for me. A few other girls mentioned they could really taste the margarine in some of their cakes, but I lucked out—I didn't notice it at all...

They were incredibly kind to me, which was a huge factor in my decision. Honestly, after dealing with Charlotte and those "reasonable" prices of theirs, these guys actually made my day a little easier.

It doesn't matter, any recommendation helps, so I'll give them a shot and see. Either way, I'm not planning on paying more than $30/lb because anything over that just feels wrong to me.

hehe, yeah, all five was actually a bit confusing. I think I'll definitely swing by there next time I'm visiting a friend, though. I've been looking for some good options for a wedding cake😉

At M&M's, we got a few different parfaits to try since we're planning on ordering a whole cake from them—though I can't tell if they do that for everyone, considering how long we spent browsing their selection.

I remember being over at Sweet Secret once with a friend of mine—she was getting married to her best man—and they ended up giving us some free samples to try. Good times.

We're planning on getting our cake from M&M's too... I just haven't decided on a flavor yet. Do you have any favorites? 😉 Maybe half vanilla and half chocolate? 🤷

I'm worried we'll end up overbuying everything.😬
Chocolate mousse and strawberry-chocolate parfait are non-negotiable. Their panna cotta is decent, the pistachio parfait is great, and the hazelnut is fine too...

Hehe, now I'm totally lost on what to pick 😂, but if you say the mousse and strawberry-choco are non-negotiable, then it has to be good.
The staff there actually suggested we shouldn't mix too many flavors—not sure why, maybe because the cake is three tiers high? 😕
Thanks for the tip 😉 I guess we'll have to go back for another taste test soon 😁

Here is our cake. It was exceptional—each layer offered a different flavor, from Snickers to chocolate, hazelnut, and Jaffa. Despite its massive size, nearly every bit was consumed.

Honestly, everything tastes fine when there's M&M's involved... If we want more mini cakes, we just get more flavors. I haven't sat down for the final planning meeting yet; I'm heading over there shortly to hammer out the details.
I don't see why you couldn't have a different flavor on every single floor 🤷

Some lady made those rules for me. I'm originally from the Midwest.

Sure, we could do a different flavor for each one, but the manager told us it’s probably better not to mix them up too much. 🤷...but obviously, if we really want a unique flavor per floor, they'll make it happen.

Fine, then. Personally, I always enjoy those weddings where they offer two different cakes so I actually get a choice. 🙂
We’re definitely going with three flavors, though I suspect we won't be able to stop ourselves from trying every last bit. 😬

Oh my goodness, I just spotted the most divine wedding cake topper in a movie earlier—it was these gorgeous little glass salt and pepper cellars, filled with seasoning of course...
The one for the salt had this delicate tulle "veil" draped over it, while the pepper one featured a tiny, sleek black cylinder

It looked absolutely stunning 😍
