I said it to Marijani Petir after one of her speeches during the Congress on the MPO law. It was back when someone very close to me was going through yet another failed IVF cycle, and Petirka had the nerve to start talking about God and all those other ridiculous excuses for why this disgrace they call a Law should pass. So, yeah, I wished it on her. I thought, fine, go ahead and have kids, but let it take five tries to get there...
She deserved to feel a little bit of that poison herself. 😠😢

Look, honey, I’m not even sure she’d actually want that, even if it looks pretty tempting on paper. 🙂

Honestly? It feels like a total slap in the face to all of us dealing with this crap right now. 🤷

I caught her on a segment with Stanković the other day and I actually had to walk out of the room halfway through. There were moments where I felt genuinely embarrassed just being an American woman at the same time as her. But hey, people voted for her, right? She isn't some outlier with weird ideas—she represents what a lot of people are choosing, and that’s what really sucks. 😢

Anyway, I won't go off on a tangent anymore; that's not what we're here for. 😉

Why does everything need some damn permit, a course, a class, or some official approval? Is it the only way any idiot can be allowed to have kids these days?

🤦

Stuff like this makes me absolutely livid, especially now that I'm a mother myself. Look, you can't just "forget" a child in a car. You simply cannot. Unless you're a complete idiot and a totally incompetent parent, it shouldn't happen...

Honestly? I'm pretty sure they aren't even forgetting them. It's more like... they just don't give a damn.

I feel the exact same way. These people probably just drift off to sleep, and then they can't even be bothered to wake up and deal with it, so they just leave things as they are without giving a single thought to the fallout...

It’s driving me absolutely insane how, especially over this past week, everyone keeps asking why I haven't quit my job yet... I am losing my mind with that question.😠

God, this whole situation is just driving me absolutely insane... I haven't slept a single wink all night. I'm just sitting here waiting for the chaos on the news cycle to die down a little bit—hoping things settle enough for me to finally catch some much-needed shut-eye...😠😠😠😠

Starting from the feet up... Good grief, my legs flared up yesterday and they feel like solid blocks of concrete. Nothing seems to touch the pain, and it hurts sooooo much...
I’ve honestly been feeling so lucky up until now, so I’m just praying I merely overexerted myself a little. I really hope this passes soon so they don't keep feeling like heavy stones :/

I am constantly terrified and worrying about this baby. It’s just one thing after another... bleeding, what I eat, medications, hair dye, whether I’m exercising too much or not enough, if I’m getting enough sleep, her heartbeat, why I can't feel her yet, then why I suddenly feel her so intensely, will I catch CMV or toxoplasmosis, what about a shortened cervix, or if there are issues with the pregnancy being a high-risk case here in the USA... if she's born now, will she survive being this tiny? And if she does, what kind of long-term consequences will she face? If we actually make it to the due date, will the placenta hold up? Will she turn head-down? If she stays breech, will they force a C-section on me, or will some overconfident doctor try a vaginal delivery? Will there be hypoxia? Intracranial hemorrhaging? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa😢

..signature... + hands... I guess a cold bath is the only temporary thing that helps me, but I absolutely hate it, I get such bad goosebumps every time I step in 😠

..honey, you are way too deep into those Dark forums... I mean, it’s fine to know the facts and be aware that these things *can* happen, but please, just put all that info aside and stop stressing me out with all those fears, okay?? Just try to stay positive and keep repeating to yourself, "my baby is doing great, my baby is healthy, everything is perfectly fine with my little one"... and it really will be!! Don't go inviting the bad vibes in!! It might be better to just read about the beautiful parts of pregnancy instead.. 🙂

My legs are feeling alright today, thank God—no swelling so far. And I am really, truly hoping it stays that way.
I’ve been trying to psych myself up! We were supposed to head into Washington, D.C. for some shopping, but honestly, I just can't find the motivation. It's not even a massive drive, but once you factor in the hour on the road plus the actual shopping itself... ugh. Then I remember that I actually *need* to buy things because we have wedding guests arriving in just three weeks... and suddenly, everything feels incredibly overwhelming. I feel like I might just faint right here. If I had my way, I’d stay holed up at home for the next six or seven weeks and avoid people entirely. Not to mention how desperately I’m counting down the days until all of this is over and I can finally just hold my baby!
ARGH, summer and pregnancy.

cosmicbison5, it's like I'm reading my own diary here! 😍

Are you pregnant too? Maybe a bit further along than me. I'm 30 weeks and 6 days today and I've had enough. I honestly wish my due date was right now just so I could get this over with and see this little miracle!! 😍
I have wedding guests arriving this weekend, and I have this knee-length dress, but the amount of cellulite I've picked up in the last few weeks is enough to make me cry. On top of that, I still have to go shopping—another hour-long drive—to grab a crib and other baby essentials (skincare, hospital bag stuff, etc.). Everything feels harder and harder, especially in this heat. Breathing is a struggle, and if I catch a whiff of someone's perfume, I'm immediately nauseous and seeing spots. I'm getting annoyed with myself for being so sensitive to everything; it makes me want to stay inside.

Long story short:
- unexpected cellulite issues
- gained more weight than anticipated
- heavy belly makes getting out of bed or turning over a chore
- extreme sensitivity to smells
- constant need for fresh air and a bottle of ice water nearby or I'll pass out
- and don't even get me started on the constant worrying about whether the baby is developing fine, if the heartbeat is steady, or what the delivery will be like... it's just a constant loop in my head.

What was my absolute biggest headache during pregnancy?!
PREGNANCY!!

First, I dealt with a hematoma.
Then came the nausea and constant burping.
On top of that, I tested positive for E. coli in a urine culture and had to go on antibiotics.
Just when we hit the second trimester and I thought, "Okay, maybe now I can actually relax," my husband ended up needing surgery—so much for avoiding unexpected stress.
Once that passed, my blood pressure started dropping way too low.
And now, being in the third trimester... well, it's just non-stop movements and twitches.
I'm on strict bed rest, and even moving an inch feels like a marathon.
My glucose test also flagged gestational diabetes.
I’m handing in another urine sample tomorrow, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they found an elephant in there.🤷 I mean, I really wouldn't.

I have this feeling that every single possible complication in pregnancy decided to target me specifically.

it can definitely get worse😁 😉
alright, obviously everyone has their own version of "the worst," 🙂
but seriously, the sheer number of diagnoses they've slapped on me during this pregnancy is way higher than average.🙄 🙄

and lately, this heartburn is absolutely killing me—especially when I'm in certain positions; and of course, it hits hardest on my left side, which is the *exact* side I'm supposed to sleep on. God, it sucks.🙄

Honestly, 🙂 I know there are plenty of cases much worse than mine..

But it’s just so incredibly frustrating when all your friends and acquaintances seem to have had such easy, smooth pregnancies, and then they look at you—well, they either act like it's some huge tragedy or give you that patronizing, pitying look..

And then there's that damn sense of helplessness—you know, having to practically beg and jump through hoops just to get him to drive me to these ridiculous specialist appointments that wouldn't even be necessary in a normal pregnancy..

Plus, that awful feeling when people treat me like I'm being overly sensitive—especially the older crowd. They're always like, "Oh, stop complaining, we worked in fields all day back in our time".. 🙄

Everything just kind of hit me at once today.
I'm going to go see if I should just throw a plate set at the wall or maybe just grab a drink under a blanket.

Sigh.

I don't usually let things get to me this easily 🙂 I'm pretty thick-skinned 😁

Oh, Luna, 😲you're really going through it! But it’ll all be worth it once the little one arrives. 😍
