hahaha, man, people were telling me those same creepy stories about trying to bring babies back to life too🤣🤣 they're terrifying... and get this, I was on the bus in NYC the other day, totally packed, right? some middle-aged lady stands up, so I take her seat. now I'm sitting next to this girl who looks like she's in high school—you know, that typical rebellious phase with the outfit 😁—and she clearly didn't realize who I was at first. then she looks over, catches a glimpse of my belly, and immediately starts digging through her backpack for a thermos and birth control pills 🤣🤣🤣 I seriously almost died laughing!
as for everything else... honestly, I just want everyone to be healthy for the little bit of time we have left, and that's enough. but I gotta be real, it's been hard dealing with all the changes to my body. I listen to the women around me saying things like, "oh, you won't even care once you see the baby," or "those are just signs of womanhood, you won't notice the stretch marks or the weight..." and it makes me feel like crap, because I notice *everything* and I don't think I'm going to suddenly develop amnesia just because I gave birth. I'm kind of mad at myself and just frustrated with how this whole thing played out (I put on over 40 pounds, and don't even get me started on the stretch marks from my belly to my thighs)... no matter how careful I was, since I started gaining weight so fast early on, the pounds just kept coming. so yeah, it's been pretty demoralizing 🙂🙂 but whatever... as long as the health stuff is okay, we'll find a way to deal with the rest...

I don't know, I swear it drives me a little crazy sometimes, because those aren't even the only ridiculous things I have to listen to on a daily basis, though one particular gem really stands out as my favorite, and it goes: "my son was such a good kid right up until he got married"... honestly 🙂🙂

I feel the exact same way... before my first child was born, I actually had a decent stomach... but now? Stretch marks, loose skin, an old piercing scar... 😲
GROSS!!! Just... gross!! 🙂
And look, when I look at him, I swear I’d wrap myself in stretch marks just to have him again, but when I catch a glimpse of my own stomach.... 🙂

Nausea, nausea, pure nausea...

So, I had a slice of cheese pie earlier today, and about four hours later, the nausea hit so hard I actually had to go grab some activated charcoal just to find some relief... My temperature is sitting at 102.7, and even with two weeks left until my due date, I still feel absolutely TERRIBLE after almost every single meal.🙂

Honestly, looking back, the heartburn, the insomnia, the 45-pound weight gain, and the back pain I’ve been dealing with? They don't even compare to this. I am counting down the minutes until I can finally give birth so I can eat a real, decent meal without feeling like death afterward.

And if I'm being totally honest, this heat over the last few months has been way too much for me. I am seriously craving some rain and a nice, cool 68°F weather!

I don't get how people can go months without sleep at night and still have energy during the day. I can't even catch up on rest when the sun is up. This heartburn is killing me—it's been there since the start, and with all these meds I'm taking, it’s getting unbearable... I’m just counting down the days until I give birth, so I can finally lie on my stomach for half an hour once I recover. I can't wait for the day I can actually clean the apartment, cook dinner, or bake something... Trying to stay still while everything inside you is in total chaos isn't easy. Honestly, I'd rather deal with physical exhaustion than hearing people say, "You're huge, just try to bedrest for three months,"

I’ve been dealing with insomnia since day one, and now I’m officially 16 weeks and 2 days along.

The reactions from some people close to me when I announced the pregnancy also caught me off guard—it was almost as if I told them I was heading off to war. 🙄
And they knew how much we wanted this and how long we’d been trying.
It hit me pretty hard at the time, but I’ve calmed down now and I honestly couldn't care less what they think.

Yeah, tell me about it... the insomnia, the brain fog, that constant knot in your stomach... I could probably handle all of that if my mother-in-law wasn't constantly breathing down my neck and making my life miserable every single day.🙄🙄🙄🙂🙂

I’ve gotta say, my appetite is actually catching me off guard right now 🙂🙂—for the last two or three days, it’s been absolutely wild. Everything tastes great and I just feel hungry all the time! WHY?! I’m assuming this means the nausea is finally over... which is obviously a massive relief... but 🙂

It’s the exact same story over here. I’m currently in my 18th week, and about a week ago, my appetite just exploded overnight 🙂 I feel like I could eat a hundred times a day, haha. I’ve already put on about 4 pounds, and by my next checkup at the clinic, it'll probably be 😲

At my last checkup back in the 3rd week, I was actually down 1 lb... but that's just the appetite part. 😁
We'll find out in a week... things have calmed down a little over the last couple of days, though. I guess it just comes in waves... 🤔

I honestly find it so draining when I run into women who have been pregnant or are currently expecting and act like they’ve suddenly absorbed the collective wisdom of the entire universe—as if nobody knows anything about pregnancy or babies better than they do.
They love to toss out unsolicited "advice" left and right, even though absolutely no one asked for their input, and then they get all huffy and offended if you dare to disagree with them on even the smallest point.
God forbid you actually have an original thought or decide to handle things a little differently than some self-appointed expert momma.🙂

It also drives me up the wall when women who have already given birth describe their delivery as this horrific, bloody battlefield and the absolute worst thing that ever happened to them—especially when they choose to recount those grim details to someone who is currently pregnant.
Look, I get it, childbirth isn't exactly a stroll through Central Park, and some people definitely go through incredibly grueling experiences, but why on earth would you tell that to a woman who’s about to be on that delivery table herself in just a few days?

Well, since I'm clearly on a roll venting about everything that's getting on my nerves... 😬
..I also have to deal with people during this pregnancy who think they have a free pass to just reach out and poke my stomach.
I’m only 20 weeks along, yet people are out here trying to massage my midsection when the baby is still well below the belly button. And let me be clear: I do not want anyone touching me below my navel.
Get lost.

😂😂 I seriously don't get why everyone feels the need to touch a pregnant woman's belly 🙂
and I have a feeling it's gonna drive me absolutely insane too!!

I knew one girl who was so freaked out by someone's horror stories about labor that she almost had a total nervous breakdown—we couldn't even convince her that it wouldn't be that terrifying... Honestly... someone should just slap those people across the face so they can't talk for a week...

And I actually lost it laughing at the bolded part!!😂
What do you care? You aren't gonna have digestive issues from all that belly poking.😁

Ugh, honestly, my favorites are the ones who actually ask—I’m like 6 or 7 months along now, belly's basically hitting my chin; anyway, where have you been hiding?!
Nah, I just overdid it at dinner...

Oh man, tell me about it, it is seriously infuriating. I even went out and bought one of those cute little maternity shirts from Target that actually has "hands off" printed right on the stomach, but does that stop people? Not even a little bit. They just laugh and give me a pat anyway, and honestly, there are days where I feel like I might just lose it and give someone a smack so hard they'd practically fly through the air...😁 😁 😁 😁

I had this lady at the grocery store yesterday totally bum me out—even though I know she wasn't trying to be malicious! I’m naturally one of those pale, anemic types, and right now I’m just struggling—sleep-deprived, low blood pressure, and honestly just perpetually irritable. So, I'm there grabbing bread for my kid, and this woman looks at my little one and goes, "Oh my goodness, what did your mother look like?" I mean, WTF?! Me: "Excuse me?!" And she just goes, "Well, you just look so exhausted." I told her straight up: it's not just how I *look*, it's how I actually *feel*! Seriously, why can't people learn to be discreet if they absolutely feel the need to voice their unsolicited opinions? I am constantly hearing about how I should probably wear more makeup, to which I always snap: I AM WEARING MAKEUP! 🙂, and then she just goes, "Oh... well, I don't know your family that well..." 😢

Honestly, don't even sweat it; people can be absolutely awful sometimes, and I mean that in the most extreme sense. Not that anyone’s really in a position to judge me, though—I barely touch makeup, and there are days when I don't even have the energy to brush my hair, let alone do anything more elaborate than just splashing some water on it to get the grease out. I can't even remember the last time I actually let my hair down, or honestly, when I was last anywhere besides my own house, aside from those little evening walks? My local corner store is right across the street, but I think it’s been months since I even stepped foot inside.

Ugh 🙂🙂😵 😠 I honestly just don't get THESE people with their mindless comments.
It’s not even specifically about pregnant women—though, okay, fine—but generally speaking, those comments like "did you gain a little weight?"... "you don't look so great"... "you look exhausted"... and all those other variations... it is just straight-up RUDE to say that!!!
I would be absolutely mortified if I said something like that to someone, especially someone I'm not even close to... I mean, seriously, WTF?! Just mind your own business and move on 🙂🙂
