What were your biggest pregnancy surprises and pet peeves?

I don't have the patience to deal with other people's lack of manners—if they don't have any, I'll be the one to point it out. ☕

Not me—I just look them straight in the eye and smile... then comes the inevitable commentary: "You look so beautiful," "That looks great on you," or "Is it a boy or a girl?" Since I can't help being chatty, it always turns into a full conversation...

It really gets under my skin when people come up to me talking about some sick little girl with terminal illnesses 😢
Honestly, that’s not exactly a topic that’s easy to stomach on a good day, let alone when my hormones are doing laps in my system.
And yeah, that was exactly what I needed to kick off my morning. 🙂

I was honestly so frustrated yesterday because my partner wouldn't give me the green light for intimacy, even though everything seemed perfectly fine between us 🤣

Honestly, my own brain is driving me up the wall lately—I’m convinced I can tackle a hundred different tasks at once, but the second I actually try, my body hits me with such a brutal reality check that I just have to throw in the towel.
The other day, I went out for a walk with a friend and we barely managed to cover a quarter of our usual route—and we were moving at a snail's pace, too—before I just completely hit a wall.
Cleaning the house now takes me three whole days, whereas it used to be something I could knock out in a single afternoon.

And lately, what irritates me most of all is hearing people say, "just wait until you see...>
"Just wait until you see what being pregnant is really like."
"Oh, just wait until you see how hard things *actually* get"—and look, I’m not even complaining (except here on this forum, 😬, because let's face it, it *is* hard 🤷).
"Just wait until you see what it's like to never sleep again."
"Just wait until you see what it's like when you have zero time for anything except the baby."
"Just wait until you see how tough motherhood really is."
