It’s honestly pretty frustrating that I haven't been able to track down that specific preemie feeder I've been looking for. If I actually knew where to source one, I probably would have bought it by now, but my options seem limited since the only person I know who has one is my cousin out in Oregon, and even then, she just borrowed it from a colleague of hers.

he might finally feel bad about what he did today, but by tomorrow, he'll be right back to his old ways. That's just how they are, and we just have to live with it.
Michael Barrett11 asked me first thing this morning if I was going to do any ironing today, and I just told him there was no way I was touching that piece of junk ironing board.

And she’s sticking to it! No ironing, no cooking, no cleaning—just a total day off. Make it yours, relax, watch some TV, or just hang out here with us. Seriously, leave the chores for another day.

It’s honestly exhausting, both physically and mentally, how much this is draining me.
I have three men in my life who are supposed to be my inner circle—the people who should matter most—but things are a mess. I don't even speak to one of them anymore, the second one tells me straight to my face that he hates me, and as for the third... I guess he just doesn't care at all.
I feel like I’m reaching my breaking point.

Yesterday, I honestly just lost it—I was screaming and crying because I have someone exactly like this living under my roof. He spent a solid thirty minutes in the shower, and then took *another* twenty minutes just shaving his head. As if there were some kind of emergency! (By the way, we were actually running late for a meeting.) While he was taking his sweet time, I was rushing around trying to get the dishes done. I think I mentioned at least fifty times that my back was killing me and that I really needed a hand. But no, he just sat down to play video games. I kept asking for help until I eventually reached my breaking point and started sobbing, and even then, he just stood there next to me. In the end, I basically kicked him out to go to Target, because what good is he now that I’m already completely exhausted?
When I ask him if he feels bad seeing me struggle like this, he just shrugs and tells me I should probably just leave the dishes for later. But he has never—and I mean *never*—said, "Hey, just leave them, I'll take care of it." Instead, it's always, "Just rest, you can do it later." I really can't help but blame his mother for this; she clearly raised him to believe that everything should be done for him.

Honestly, your husbands are getting on my nerves lately🙂🙂... if mine acted like that, he’d be flying out the window in a heartbeat😂

So, my dear husband decided to go ahead and announce to all our friends and family that the flu is making the rounds, basically telling everyone we aren't up for any visitors and that it’s best if nobody drops by our house either. WHAT AN IDIOT. Meanwhile, I’m stuck at home all day playing it safe, while he just wanders off wherever the wind blows him. Honestly, I’m giving him the silent treatment right now; being pregnant is stressful enough without him throwing me completely off my game.
#1549 ·
It’s honestly driving me up the wall. I went off on my husband about everything under the sun, and now we’re in the middle of this silent treatment phase. I can see he’s absolutely miserable, though—I actually feel for him. He keeps hovering around me, giving me these pathetic, puppy-dog eyes like a kicked Golden Retriever. And I know exactly how this ends: I’m going to cave and make up with him pretty soon because, despite all this, I love the guy. UGH, IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!🙂

I’ve got a question for the group... I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes or call out any specific marriages here, I just want to hear some perspectives:
If you can't even get on the same page about the small stuff—like who’s handling the cooking, the laundry, or the grocery runs—how on earth do you and your partner actually tackle real problems or make decisions about the big, life-altering things?
Someone please weigh in...

Honestly, it’s not a bad question at all🙂it really makes you stop and think. There are days when everything between us is absolute bliss. Nothing is an issue, we agree on everything, there's plenty of affection... but then there's that one day where neither of us is willing to budge. Those days are rare, which is why they hit me so hard—I'm just not used to them. And yeah, sometimes it’s actually much faster and easier to settle the massive life decisions than it is to argue over the little things. Does it throw me off balance sometimes? Oh, absolutely. But hey, we live alone, so there's nobody else around to drive me crazy.🙂Is it always smooth sailing for you?

Of course it isn't...
But after ten years together—six living under the same roof and five married—I have never once reached the point where I’m moving back into my parents' house, everything is falling apart, I can't find a way to get through to him, or he can't hear me even when I'm yelling...
We definitely have our disagreements, but we are both incredibly practical people who aim to fix things immediately instead of wasting three days on unnecessary drama, hysterics, or that suffocating silent treatment.
We just aren't those kinds of people and we don't have any patience for that kind of nonsense. Let's be clear, these issues happen because life happens, but we deal with them right then and there.

Honestly, the thing that caught me most off guard during pregnancy wasn't even the physical stuff—it was how much more sensitive I’ve become. I find myself tearing up over nothing, losing my cool, or just spiraling way easier than I ever did before. Look, let’s be real: my husband isn't some flawless saint, nor does he need to be, but the reality is that certain things hit me way harder now, and he’s right there on the front lines dealing with my sudden mood swings. At the same time, I have these moments where I expect him to fully grasp the sheer chaos happening inside my body and my head—to just *get* it—but he can't quite bridge that gap. He’s not a woman, and he isn't experiencing this biological rollercoaster firsthand. All in all, though? We’re actually navigating it pretty well.

So, my partner's mom... 😢 she’s trying to push this gift on us that we really, really don't need. I've been trying to be polite and explain why it's not quite right for us, but it feels like she just isn't hearing me, no matter how many times I try to word it delicately... on the other hand, I really don't want to hurt her feelings because I know her heart is in the right place 🤷
In the end, after listening to me struggle through my explanations for a few minutes, my guy finally just grabbed the phone and told her to quit nagging us. Well, obviously, she took it personally and got offended. Now I'm sitting here wondering... what if this is just how she is? What if she never actually listens, even when you're being as reasonable as possible? 🤷 Is it better to just be blunt with my partner's mother and shut it down immediately—even though she probably means well—or should I keep trying to be nice while secretly getting more and more frustrated until I eventually snap and end up being rude anyway? 🤷

I think this was our "argument" (though mostly I was just pitying myself because everything had piled up, and the breaking point was just some damn unstable shelf)
they were truly trivial matters, I admit that, but once they accumulate, I find myself screaming at him about something that happened three years ago.
What made me even more miserable was that he didn't take me seriously; he couldn't see any reason for me to be sad or angry over a shelf, and that’s how the whole thing spiraled.
To be clear, I'm not usually like this. I've become much more sensitive lately, to the point where I could spend all day in bed crying, and I'm not typically a crybaby.
When it comes to the more important life decisions, we actually tend to reach agreements much faster and more effectively than we do regarding these little things.

I honestly don't think there's any point in trying to explain your coping mechanisms to anyone right now; you're currently pregnant 🙂. Looking at my own behavior, I'm usually someone who stays pretty level-headed and doesn't get worked up easily, but lately... I'll find myself getting incredibly agitated over the smallest, most trivial things. I'll snap for about five minutes straight, fall silent for a minute, and then end up in tears. It’s an overwhelming feeling, and it feels almost impossible to control. I used to think PMS was bad, but these pregnancy mood swings are on a whole different level, and I really don't know how to manage them—though all my girlfriends tell me they went through the exact same thing. It isn't surprising that we end up bickering with our partners more during this stage; the key is just for him to realize we're under the influence of hormones and that, most of the time, the situation isn't nearly as serious as our minds are making it out to be.

My grandma is driving me absolutely insane because she’s been constantly rubbing my stomach for weeks now 😳 😳 😳 😳 Honestly, it isn't cute, it isn't sweet, and it sure as hell isn't "funny" or whatever... it’s just incredibly annoying, exhausting, and plain stupid 😳
But no! She just doesn't get it 😳

So I grabbed coffee today at this local spot I used to frequent all the time before I got pregnant, but I haven't been back in a minute. It was pretty packed, and then this acquaintance of mine walks up and asks if she can see the bump. Naturally, I’m all proud and show her, and she just stares at me and goes, "Is everything okay?" I was like, "Yeah, why wouldn't it be?" And she goes, "You don't have anything... that's not right, something definitely isn't okay!" She said it so loud that everyone at the surrounding tables turned around to stare at me, and she actually says, "That doesn't look like a normal belly for 5 months..." So I told her, "Look, I'm thin, but I'm also really tall, so my bump shows clearly and looks totally normal for where I am..." ☕
Do I need to be a Greyhound bus for people to act normal? 😕
Honestly, what's worse—people constantly asking if everything is fine when I'm not even showing much yet? Seriously, don't go looking for trouble! If I say everything is fine, it's fine. Why do people feel the need to interrogate me like I'm lying? I don't go around telling anyone their belly is too big!!! What kind of comment is that even??
Sorry for the long vent, but she really threw me off my game 🙄

Honestly, some people are just absolute idiots... it’s become pretty obvious to me lately—and I’m only, what, 19 or so?—that if someone talked to me like that, I’d have a few choice words ready to fire right back at them. 😁
I have to vent, though, because I’ve been so incredibly on edge lately due to these sudden, sharp pains down there—you know exactly where I mean 😍—and today was the final straw. I was in the restroom, and when I wiped, there was blood on the paper... then more... it looked like I was bleeding out. On top of that, my stomach has been cramping and aching all day long. I genuinely panicked thinking something was seriously wrong with me, only to realize it was just one of those damn veins acting up again. Those freaking veins! They really had me spooked for a second...

My bump is getting pretty big... probably around the 12-week mark by now.
It’s not like it’s eating me alive or anything, but people keep asking if I’m actually 6 or 7 months along, or if I’m absolutely certain I’m not carrying twins.🙂
Apparently, the doctor missed it...
Even with Dr. Koss doing his whole "deep dive" ultrasound routine, he somehow didn't catch that there are two little ones in there.🙂
