I was wondering if anyone might have some advice regarding an addiction—well, that’s probably the best way I can describe it.
Basically, whenever I finish doing it, I end up in this state of total physical distress. I feel this intense tension, I get really irritable, and I actually start grinding my teeth in my sleep. Then, for the next couple of days, I just stay in this heightened, stressed-out state.
I'm fully aware that I'm doing myself a disservice here, but I guess I just can't seem to help myself.

Perhaps you could phrase that a bit more precisely... or rather, give me some actual specifics 🙂

.. and what, in your estimation, would you advise someone in my position to do? 😉

Well, you can't exactly ask for help if you won't even say what kind of "addiction" we're talking about, can you?

It feels a little strange looking back, but I guess the internet ten years ago was just fundamentally slower and way more expensive than what we’re dealing with today.
It's funny how much things shift over a decade. Anyway, regarding this topic... I suppose most guys would find it pretty jarring; it just doesn't feel natural for us to witness that kind of thing,
while I think women tend to be a bit more split on the whole issue.

But honestly, you see more and more of it popping up online these days.

And what exactly did you start doing?

Look, either start telling the story and actually explain what you mean, or this whole thread isn't going to make any sense at all.

Reading ("guys find it gross and it's just not natural for us to see, while girls are split on it") books ("e-book format")?

Alright, look, since everyone on this forum has suddenly started acting like they’ve got a crystal ball and can predict the future, I’m locking this thread. If the original poster actually wants to turn this into a legitimate, productive discussion, they need to shoot me a private message so we can hash out a direction that isn't just mindless speculation.

Until then, it's locked.

Edit: After touching base with the author, I'm unlocking this. Now, let's get down to business... 🙂

I wonder when we'll finally start seeing more women who opt for a more natural look, rather than those who seem to go a bit overboard with the heavy lifting and all those supplements.
