haha... thanks again, Betty Evans6 and granitewolf20. 😍 At first, I was pretty bummed because it wasn't exactly what I had pictured or ordered, you know? But when you don't actually know how it's supposed to look, it's really not that bad. And the taste was 🙏.

The most important thing is that it tastes amazing, but if it looks as stunning as yours does, you've already won... and there is absolutely no reason to be disappointed. That cake looks like it was professionally designed—it's incredible! 👍

mellowfalcon said:So, what’s the actual deal with the cake scene in Seattle right now? Where can I find the absolute best ones? And honestly—how much of a head start should I be giving myself if I want to actually snag something good before they're all gone?

🙂 You could've asked me too 😬

Check out nothing else but nothing else, maybe Tiramisu—you should probably reach out about a month and a half ahead of time. I know we ended up ordering ours from nothing else at the very last minute, but honestly, we were stoked with how they turned out. 👍
You can call them both; you can always swing by nothing else for some sweets while browsing through some vinyl records 😉. For Tiramisu, I think your best bet is hitting them up in the morning when that lady who specializes in cakes is actually working.
Blackie used to get everything from General Dynamics, but there are a few ladies over in Naperville who do custom cakes—they have official businesses, but if you ask me, they're pretty slammed.
Start making calls today. 😉
edit: Migu made our little figurines. 😘

I really feel the need to give a shout-out to an auntie I know who makes absolutely incredible pastries.
My mother used to pick up her treats for family gatherings back when I was getting married. If I recall correctly, the price was roughly $22/lb. Honestly, they aren't just delicious; the presentation is stunning. They are leagues ahead of those generic Hostess snacks I ended up grabbing for the reception.
For my father’s 50th birthday, we decided to order one of her cakes along with two pounds of assorted pastries.
My only slight concern is whether she is able to provide a formal receipt if we need one for a venue.

Here is the link where you can see her cake designs:http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...3360958&ref=mf

Here is the link to her cake business page http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...3360958&ref=mf [/FONT]

It isn't just that her cakes look absolutely incredible—her entire setup is just stunning... truly gorgeous!! I actually went ahead and sent her a friend request; if she accepts, I’m hoping we can chat about having her handle the dessert for my wedding...
By any chance, do you have an idea of what her general pricing looks like for something like that?

That cake looks amazing... and I couldn't help but notice—it seems you picked out the exact same wedding dress I bought for myself! 😉

I was just browsing the web when I stumbled upon a photo of this cake, and honestly, it completely blew me away! 😍 Here is the link so you all can take a look too.

I really hope you guys love it as much as I do!🙄
Since the wedding dress didn't quite win me over, I guess this cake had to do all the heavy lifting! 😛
I can't wait to hear what you think!

I forgot to mention that everything is in a gold and white color scheme! 😁

It looks nice enough, I guess—it’s just that I’m not a fan of this split-level setup. Personally, I’d prefer if they just stuck to a classic, single-floor layout

Jesse Lopez90 🤷 I'm wondering if there's an issue with the link itself, or if it's just my connection acting up, because everything else seems to be loading fine. Maybe try uploading a screenshot instead, provided the file size isn't too massive? 🤣

EDIT: Well, I see that Nathan Cox25 managed to get it open, but on my end, I'm stuck watching things load at 3.x speed—the page just keeps hanging.
And here I was, dying to see this!

It’s a beautiful classic, I suppose, but it’s just not really my style.

Personally, I’ve been looking at this one, though I think it could use a bit more color variety to really make it pop.😁

A bit too much sentimentality for my taste—though the concept itself is solid.
I'm currently leaning toward something like this—maybe without the spider at the top, and sticking to a green and white palette. 🤣

p.s. Spiders are good luck, so I don't kill them.

Hey guys, does anyone have a photo of a simple three-layer cake?
I’m thinking maybe a white or beige frosting, and perhaps some subtle floral decorations in soft colors—nothing too loud or obnoxious.
And I definitely want to stick some crazy little topper on top.

p.s. If the cake and cookies come with me, they're on my tab.🙂

The hearts are only on the front side.
And honestly, Nathan Cox25, that spider is terrifying—it’s visually striking, sure, but definitely not something you’d want at a wedding unless you’re looking to give everyone nightmares.

But having both patterns on the cake is 😍😲 😁

Nathan Cox25, thanks 🙂
This fourth one is definitely my favorite (honestly, I’d probably just add another floor to it) 😍

Forgot to mention—I've always had a thing for the rounded edges 😬

Man, we really hit the jackpot at that little spot in Aspen, $600. The whole thing was just pure perfection, seriously 😍 absolutely INCREDIBLE!
