Does anyone actually have a list of places where I can swap out my US dollars? I’m kind of guessing it might just be possible in neighboring states, but let me know if I'm totally off base here!
Hey there! So, if I'm receiving something like $100 from overseas, what kind of exchange rate is the local Post Office going to use to convert that into dollars for me?
And just curious, what's the deal with the conversion rate when sending money back, like if I'm sending $333 over to Germany—will they be paying him out in euros based on the standard cash and check selling rate?
[ICODE][COLOR=#000000] [COLOR=#0000BB]Peter[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700], [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]it's actually super easy[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]. [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]Just highlight whatever part of the message you want to hit back at and click the [/COLOR][COLOR=#DD0000]Wrap Quote[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700] button, [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]then just type your reply right after it[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]. [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]Then you can just highlight more text and hit the icon[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700], [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]and so on[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]... [/COLOR][/COLOR][/ICODE]
let's see
PHP Code:
[ICODE][COLOR=#000000] [COLOR=#0000BB]Everything ends up getting swallowed by one massive quote block because you forgot to close out the tags at the end[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]. [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]When you hit quote, the forum automatically drops those tags at the start and finish[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700], [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]so you leave the first one alone so people know what you're replying to, while that last tag keeps everything looking neat like this [/COLOR][/COLOR][/ICODE]
shadowpilot8 said:Peter, it’s quite simple. Just highlight the specific text you want to address and click the "Wrap Quote" icon, then type your response after it. Repeat the process by highlighting the next section and clicking the icon again. Everything ends up nested inside one massive quote because you aren't deleting the closing tag at the end. When you hit the quote button, the forum automatically adds the opening and closing tags; leave the first one so people know what you're replying to, but manually delete that
So I basically tell her exactly what needs to change so things can finally get better, but then after a little while, everything just drifts right back to how it was before.
And look, I never said I hate everyone, so please don't put words in my mouth! It's more that I've just been really vibing with my own company lately, you know? Most people just don't really click with me, especially when I'm out in those big, random crowds where I don't feel like I belong. I'm definitely more of an introvert, but honestly, what's the big deal? It’s not a problem for me at all; I'm just trying to share what I've been going through with anyone else here who feels the same way.

Why are you even hanging out with her? Why call her a friend? You aren't a mizantrop; you just seem to have a thing for toxic jerks. Why do this to yourself?
Look, it's not really a choice: either you put up with idiots, or you end up totally alone. It’s a vicious cycle. People who get surrounded by leeches because they can't say "no" eventually have to retreat into total isolation just to recover from the constant harassment. But the people bothering you aren't the problem—it's you, for allowing it to happen. 😢
Why? Is letting people walk all over you the only way to have a social life? Of course it isn't.
haha, oh gosh, I don't see myself as a hater of humanity or anything, it's more like I just saw myself in what was said because I honestly just love my solo time, and I find those super high-energy, ego-driven people who always need to be the star of the show to be totally exhausting since they make me feel invisible, whereas I'd much rather just zone out and enjoy some quiet moments, which I guess some people just don't get. But she and I have been through so much together, and even though she's been a real handful lately, there's just no way I'm cutting her loose like that, especially since I had a similar friend once who was just twisted and insecure and I felt zero regret when she drifted out of my life, but this isn't like that at all because she actually has some great qualities and we really support each other, so it's not even about that, it's more that we're just fundamentally different people with totally different interests, yet I don't bore her with stuff she doesn't care about, even if she doesn't realize she can be pretty thoughtless sometimes, so my real issue is that I tend to stay quiet and bottle everything up until I eventually just hit a breaking point.👎 and she just doesn't get where I'm coming from.🙄
feralorca82 said:Yeah, I'm in the exact same boat. The issue gets worse (in my opinion) when you try to explain it to someone. They just don't get it and start looping with questions like, "But why? Why's that? Why this?"—goddamn leeches 🙂 leave me alone! Nothing is worse than being totally drained and having someone relentlessly pry for info you have no intention of sharing.
To make matters worse, you always end up looking like the jerk or the moody one because you "hurt their feelings" just by letting them know to go f***
I actually just got into this huge blowout with a friend over something pretty similar, and honestly, I always seem to be the one who loses my cool and ends up getting labeled as the unstable or high-strung one, even though the reality is she can be incredibly draining and demanding, just talking about herself for hours on end without realizing it, and she just doesn't get why it's such an issue, but people like that totally exhaust me... plus, apparently, I'm just boring to them since we don't share the same interests, and I really can't stand listening to endless gossip or hearing about shopping sprees, especially when it's the same story told five different times, and I just don't understand how some people don't realize how exhausting they're being😢 lately, I’ve been feeling at my absolute happiest whenever I can just disconnect from the real world and lose myself in a good book, some great music, or a movie. 😕
I honestly wasn't feeling this movie at all, because some of those attempts at physical comedy just felt totally desperate and cringey, like when the main guy accidentally blasts people in front of their houses with a golf ball and a woman ends up tumbling out of her window😕, or that part where his coach falls right out of a window and dies 😕, and don't even get me started on the scenes where he loses his cool and starts swearing and smashing stuff—I mean, I get that it's supposed to be funny, but for me, it just didn't land 🤷
The only highlight for me was the grandma, who was actually pretty hilarious 😁 I’ve always found that elderly characters in American comedies are just inherently funny on their own 😁

I've never really understood people who just sit there and take it.🙄 Talking to a principal or a counselor is usually just a bunch of nonsense meant to shut down anyone pointing out constant bullying. Then again, humans are animals at their core. That's just the beginning; you eventually see how far people will go just to get ahead or satisfy some weird impulse.
I honestly think they stay quiet because they just don't have any confidence in themselves, which happens way more often than you'd think... and man, it's heartbreaking when you watch someone let others walk all over them or believe total lies about themselves, I just can't wrap my head around people who treat others like that, they're just straight-up fools...👎 And usually, those types who keep it all inside eventually just snap after a while, so it's probably better for him to have someone to vent to, someone who'll actually step up and look out for him.
So, I'm actually asking this on behalf of a family member of mine. They've been seeing a psychiatrist and are currently on Faverin. Do you think there's a way to fully recover from this? Is there a known root cause for what they're going through, and are there any other things that might help out?
It was honestly such a witty, romantic, and totally thrilling ride—just this gorgeous little fairy tale that swept me away into a world of pure imagination for over two hours, and I loved every single second of it!
