Maybe The Fisher King or even The Pursuit of Happyness. You've probably seen them already, and I'm not sure if they hit the exact same note, but they definitely gave me a similar emotional rush while watching.🍿

The balance of emotion and humor is spot on, there’s zero filler, and the pacing is perfect. It's pretty bold choosing the afterlife as a theme for an animated movie, especially with such heavy messages that little kids won't even grasp. I definitely teared up. For me, it was the best movie of 2020. One of my favorite lines has to be, "Don't worry, you can't crush a soul here. That's What Life on Earth is for." 🙏 Highly recommend it if you're into emotional stories or just good filmmaking. 10/10.
Kids really won't get it, and I don't see why they even bother dubbing this stuff for them. 🤔
Finally, a decent movie! I actually loved this one. Based on the trailer, I thought it was gonna be crazy, but it went way beyond what I expected. Had a blast. I’m all about those movies that push the envelope to the absolute limit! 🙏

Listen to this guy. Half the losers I know were practically living in bars long before the unknown mess started. Give me a break. Seriously. Don't even get me started.😲

Now people will actually start showing up there. 🙂
Got it. Thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated.🍿

I get it, but this whole thing has completely spiraled out of control. What’s next? Is Anthony Nguyen81 going to become a moderator someday? Then we'll really be in trouble. I'm doing what I can to keep some dignity left in America during these crazy times. I'm fighting for the sake of future generations of losers too. 🍿
It’s wild that nobody from the staff is checking in here. If the mods decide to shut this chat down just because they want to force everyone to celebrate New Year's Day, we’re basically heading back to those dark ages of censorship from the last century. Please, just leave the chat open.🍿
Dear God, the forum mods on the US chat want to shut things down just to force everyone to celebrate New Year's together! I have zero interest in celebrating with them; I just want to vent about my miserable life on the US chat like I do every single day. Please don't take this away from me during these trying times.🍿

Don't talk nonsense. Honestly, I'd be happy if she found a partner to go hiking through the mountains with.🍿
Walter Baker2 said:Does this apply to people who just make a burner account after getting banned? Honestly, dustypilot11 caught me off guard by digging into my history. It wasn't exactly a compliment, but I appreciate the interest. We had a unique connection. Rest in Real Life, dustypilot11.
Nah. Once we realize someone is just running a burner, there's no point in caring about them. 🍿
dustypilot11— She was a total force of nature on this forum, just blowing through here for years. Her sharp writing hit home for pretty much everyone in the community. During her final stretch, right before she decided to go off the grid and pull that digital disappearing act in the OFF sections, she really made an impression on me. I’m gonna miss you, dustypilot11!😢
This thread is dedicated to our former members who made the toughest call of their forum careers: deciding to self-ban for whatever reasons they had. This is a space to remember them. If you have some kind words to say about them, feel free to drop them here.🍿
Joshua Smith5 said:I have a question for goldenhound32. In Matula's headquarters, toward the end of the movie, why does his assistant or whatever he is, lose his mind and charge at Matula?🤔
Just being thorough. It feels like another metaphor tossed into a movie about a political figure losing their mind. I haven't seen it in ages, so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure that's what the story is getting at. 🍿

It's official now: star Tom Cruise is going to the ISS to film the latest entry in the "Mission Impossible" franchise.
The mission is set for October 2021, and Cruise will have director Doug Liman joining him on the trip.
