Question: I've got an Athlon XP 2600+ (1918 MHz) overclocked up to 2700+ (2000 MHz). Should I mess with the core voltage, and what's actually in it for me?

analogmarlin41 said:Hey Swede, you're totally off base here. 🙂 Sales tax is 22% back home. 😬

Man, if the big shots at Congress saw this, they’d jump to 25% in a heartbeat since they already have the math worked out. 😁

therefore : in cell b2
In cell B2, you just type in 1000 (then right-click, go to Format Cells, pick Number, then Currency, and under Symbol select USD—it’ll show up automatically $333.... don't mess that part up or it won't look right 😁)

In cell B3 (where A3 says Sales Tax 22% 😁), you type: =B2*0.22
In cell B4 (where A4 says TOTAL 😁), you type: =B2*1.22

I honestly think he just needs a decent password instead of constantly swapping them out 😬

Have you tried Googling it?

Alright, I just finally blocked that damn

pizzabox.nytimes.com in my HOSTS file, so now I can finally browse Opera without all that junk getting in the way🙂
Gr0f said:No way, you're telling me Opera won't work? It's one of the best browsers out there, so how could it fail on nytimes.com? I just clicked it and I was right there.

Here’s the proof. 😁

😁

Yeah, sure, it works fine on the homepage, but once you dig deeper, it just stops, and my computer starts lagging like crazy.
James Roberts87 said:That’s actually why I stick with Opera😁

Yeah, honestly, Opera won't even load nytimes.com 😬😂
Everything just seems to crash on its own whenever I'm browsing www.nytimes.com 😕

Same thing happens to me 😁

I was just pointing out that:

1. I’ve had an adblocker running forever—it’s been blocking ads for ages—but I tried toggling it again yesterday and still nothing happens.
2. I even went as far as tweaking my hosts file, and nope, still nothing...

So yeah, I did everything I possibly could on my end.🙂

Well, I'm using an adblocker through Chrome myself, but that just stops the traffic going to or from the site; it doesn't stop the browser from reaching out to it in the first place. Basically, we were just stuck waiting for the connection to respond before we could move on...

So, yesterday happened, and I ended up getting pretty worked up and venting at the mods, which I guess caught Anderlon's attention.

The whole headache was because the adbeat.com server just wasn't responding to requests, leaving my browser hanging there for like 50 seconds straight.

That server is basically what handles all those ads you see up top.😁

urbanmoose3 said:He was just hanging out in seventh place for those last 25-30 laps... didn't actually overtake anyone during that stretch, even though we all saw him part of that little "train" our commentators kept talking about: Alonso, Takuma Sato, Ralf, and the World Champion. From what I could tell, Ralf managed to get past Sato, who’s always such an aggressive driver.. ☕ 😎

Man, who in their right mind is going to try and pass Ralf?

..............

Damson, I'm sticking to my guns here—Jacques' driving was pretty desperate. So what if he had one fast lap? Who cares about that?😕

Jack's drive was just... wow. Truly rough. It honestly feels like Sauber really dropped the ball on this one.

Daniel Fowler9 said:That said, because of the law of large numbers, it’s actually more vulnerable to hacker attacks. That's really the main reason some users feel uneasy about it. It isn't necessarily due to poor programming from Microsoft.

Hey there, Daniel Fowler9,

I mean, you've got a point, sort of. If you believe that the Metropolitan Opera is a bigger target for attacks than Internet Explorer, I wouldn't be using it today either—and it's the exact same deal with Firefox. Of course, malware authors want to build something that can wreck a massive amount of computers (like Internet Explorer), rather than just a few (like the Metropolitan Opera, Mozilla (Firefox), or Netscape...).

But the mass production argument doesn't really hold up for Internet Explorer, does it? It's not even being produced much anymore, yet it definitely has the most holes and the least features compared to all those "alternative" browsers out there...

So, honestly, who would even want to 🙂

That stupid Windows XP's mess... I'm just trying to find something that lets me send files to a standard fax machine and vice versa 😁
Carl Foster8 said:I mean, what else would you need to know besides the version number?

Well, he doesn't have anything listed under version either. 😁

Nothing. So, I guess just reinstall Internet Explorer... if you really absolutely insist on having IE and needing it to show a version number. 😁
