Does your brain have a gender? in Psychology & Therapy ·

Are you seriously telling me your brain is located in your feet?! 🤷

Your Brain is 67 % Female, 33 % Male🙄

It’s basically all male brain here.
Analytical and thorough—that's how you approach things, just sticking to the cold, hard facts.
Sure, emotions might pull at you every once in a while...
But you're never one to let them take the driver's seat.

Still nothing from you? Man, I'm starting to think they actually picked you up! 😬
Why are Americans so salty about skiers? in Close to Politics ·
We shouldn't be too hard on them; they’re dealing with their own set of struggles here:

"Skiing at Mount Rainier was my biggest mistake—it was an absolute disaster and a total letdown"

And I’m hoping they put it on NBC, ideally. 🙂 Because what they’re doing over at Fox News is basically a crime against television. 👎

Michael Thomas7 said:This show is an absolute train wreck! It’s just that classic American brainwashing—you know, the whole "quaint little town in the middle of nowhere" vibe, filled with these "warm and quirky" locals getting into funny or awkward situations... honestly, it’s just a mountain of clichés that no sane person would actually fall for. America showed its true colors a long time ago. 😉
If you're actually interested in seeing the real American backcountry and those "warm and quirky" characters, just go watch Gummo. 👍

That isn't even a typical American series. 🙄 And as for why you're so incredibly worked up about America, that's a whole different story—if you need a place to vent all that frustration, I'd suggest watching The West Wing instead. 👋

Look, they used to run wild through the Ozarks and just wipe entire towns right off the map. 😉 Nowadays, though, you couldn't tell anyone who actually lives out there in those hills if you tried. 🤷

Later on, some folks show up looking to buy the house or the land (I can't recall the exact details), and while Maurice resists at first, he eventually gives in and sells. I think there are a few more episodes involving them, but I don't want to spoil too much for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Oh, right! I remember now, but I think that happens much later in the series.

The "natives"—they were right there in the very first episode; they're basically the ones who founded the town. 😉 They called it Roslyn and Cicely (though Roslyn is actually just the town where they filmed the series, and it isn't located in Alaska 😉 ).

I honestly don't think you grasped what the poet was actually trying to say. it's just... not right. 😉

People who don't make the cut for the core pre-med tracks at state universities usually end up drifting into those professor-track majors instead. ☕

Perhaps I misstated a fact or leaned a bit too hard into the hyperbole regarding certain figures—fine. But if you can't point to a concrete error, I’d suggest staying out of this thread.

Watching you post is like watching a comedy routine; it's ridiculous. To you, Pervan doesn't even exist. 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Douglas Nelson57 said:You spent forty-five years trying to degrade our values—well, now you can either bow down or step aside. America is standing tall again; for nearly two decades, our flag has flown proudly, even if it makes you "anarcho-liberal internationalist" pests uncomfortable. You’re poisoning the youth, peddling drugs and filth, and following orders from shadowy power centers to push agendas that try to equate perverse lifestyles with marriage through your web of lies. But that digital reality is a facade. You saw the truth at Times Square when Marko Perković sang for 120,000 people, and you see it now during the UEFA European Championship. This nationalism that you "cosmopolitan" rats constantly criticize is exactly what binds us together—it protects our uniqueness and ensures our worldview survives. It is the legacy we inherited from our ancestors, and the one our children will carry forward. To my fellow Americans: cheers.

😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Honestly, you guys on the right are actually pretty hilarious to watch. 👍

I didn't, and honestly, he told me he doesn't even need any "protection" because he isn't having sex. 😉 But then, through various middlemen, he keeps calling me constantly, trying to exorcise the Devil out of my soul—it feels incredibly suspicious to me. Who knows what he actually thinks about che!? 😕🤷

Michael Perez5 said:Hmm... I’m honestly not sure how to respond to that. You might be right that I'm being a bit too idealistic about certain things. But I just don't want to feel pressured into doing something just to get what I want... I mean, it feels like if you pay enough, you don't even have to break a sweat or make a confession... and then, boom, you've got your wedding at the Church of Our Lady of the Snows. Honestly, screw that!

Why shouldn't I be able to actually have faith in priests first??

And look, you don't even have to be baptized. 😉

mellowdriver86 said:You’re dead wrong about the car. Most of them get one from their parents as a gift after their first Mass. For Priests, a first Mass is just like a Wedding is for you. Parents don't need to throw a massive reception, so they just buy their son a car instead. Or take my Pastor, for example—he actually took out a loan for his car. The Diocese only covers a fraction of the parish housing and church needs; everything else comes straight from the congregation's donations. I know because that’s how it works here in America. At the end of the year, they publicly announce exactly how much money the parish collected and where every cent went. Right now, our Church of Our Lady of the Snows is undergoing renovations. We have donors, sure, but mostly it's the parishioners chipping in ten bucks here and there. Even the cemetery chapel was recently renovated. And don't think it's free to stay warm in the winter; we have heating, electricity, and water to pay for.

Oh sure, because parents are basically Rockefellers. 🙄 Seriously though, a few years back, a new priest moved into my small town—total pauper, a real little church mouse. In no time at all, the guy bought himself a nice car because, get this, he claimed God told him to. 😂
rapidmason7 said:Don't forget—we don't even have Hide Biscevic anymore; he's been replaced by his former secretary, Bianca Matkovic! Honestly, all of Europe is probably shaking in its boots whenever that duo shows up.
BTW: Do those two even speak English? Who knows?

Yeah, right! Like that's ever going to happen! 😁 Actually, maybe it’s better if they stay quiet, because once Jandro starts talking... 😳😳😳😳😳

Kolinda was really the only thing worth mentioning in the last administration, and now someone’s trying to replace her with some total amateur. It looks like Sanders was just terrified she might actually outshine him—after all, he considers himself the alpha and omega when it comes to foreign policy. 🙄👎

By the way, word on the street is that Jandro is the wealthiest minister around; I've heard even his kids are richer than the average American. 😉
Arthur Martinez7 said:Đizs, I completely blanked on mentioning Jandroković, but honestly, this whole situation is even more terrifying than 😱 🙂

I guess this is my karma for making fun of Walter back in the day—now we're all going to be sitting here blushing because this is the kind of guy representing us on the world stage. 😳 🙂🙂🙂
