Don't get me wrong, I am all for bringing more attention to the less fortunate and overlooked parts of the country, but using someone from Des Moines like this feels like a bit much. 🙏

Ouch.Honestly, you guys have already covered just about everything. There isn't much left to say. 😳

P.S.
You totally forgot about Jandroković. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
silenthawk11 said:What is a journalist supposed to say now? Back when the sugar kings ruled the world, they were practically gods... 😕

Bajs is from Des Moines, just like pretty much half the government (Jandroković 🤣, Đurđa). 😉 First they took over FOX, and then they used that same influence to seize our beautiful country. 😱 Honestly, people from Des Moines lose their minds whenever anyone dares to criticize one of their own, even someone like Jandroković. 😂🤣😂
dustyscout53 said:I've been wondering—who actually holds journalists accountable? Is there even a real way to check them?

Right now, it feels like any reporter can just launch an attack on whoever they want, regardless of whether they’re actually telling the truth or not.

Honestly, criticizing the media feels like an attack on democracy sometimes—probably because we're still stuck in old ways of thinking. Journalists have basically become untouchable, almost like the Church used to be.

Like, a columnist for the Los Angeles Times can claim that America doesn't need a Secretary of Commerce who grew up in some tiny rural town, but you'll rarely see anyone call out a columnist for, say, barely scraping through middle school with failing grades.

We get to swap out politicians every four years through voting, sure, but journalists? They only get replaced if their boss decides to let them go—and those decisions are usually based on much shadier motives.

Is there any kind of actual safeguard to protect us from bad journalism?

😂🤣😂🤣😂

Now I see what's bothering you— nobody dares to mess with you in Des Moines! 😂

mistybear4 said:Here is my advice: you need aloe vera, ASAP!!!

WHAT IT DOES:
- It’s a powerful detoxifier. It’s especially effective and highly recommended after finishing rounds of medication or chemotherapy because it helps reactivate and jumpstart the immune system. I find it particularly useful as a preventative measure against cancer,
- It boosts metabolism since it’s packed with incredibly potent biological enzymes that can neutralize toxins released during digestion,
- It aids in cellular nutrition and promotes cell regeneration,
- One great thing is how it regulates bowel function thanks to its ferment content,
- It works to heal wounds and can help neutralize issues like gastritis, hyperacidity, and minor stomach ulcers,
- It really helps ease bloating, gas, and swelling caused by digestive upset,
- It helps regulate high blood pressure and can assist in reducing swelling in the legs and extremities (honestly, if you drink about 1/3 of a glass, you can feel the pressure drop within just 5 to 10 minutes!!),
- It assists in treating kidney and gallbladder stones,
- It provides a soothing, refreshing effect for the throat,
- Because it contains Provitamin A and PP, it is excellent for maintaining healthy skin…

All those various Eastern "philosophies" are basically just perfect marketing tools used to sell nonsense to Americans for a massive profit. It’s pretty funny, though—most actually educated people from the East don't buy into any of it; they just give a sarcastic little smirk at how obsessed Americans have become with things like Feng Shui, ginseng, and all that other junk. 🙂 🙂 🙂 😎 👋

I think I finally get where they're coming from now. It makes it a little easier to empathize with them instead of judging those—let's call them "unconventional"—views of theirs. 😢 😢 🙂

Could you print this out and bind it? It would be such a shame if it just fell apart.

On heavy cardstock or standard bond paper, scented or plain old, white, colored, patterned, recycled, or even "non-eco-friendly"... honestly, used or...? I mean, the options are endless, so you can pretty much pick whatever suits your style. 😉 🙂

Raymond Turner6 said:So, does everyone wash their backside after a big bathroom trip? If you do, what’s the go-to method? Soap, some kind of intimate wash, just water?

Basically, I don't use anything besides toilet paper right now, even though I go through quite a bit of it😁 ?

It's not like I have a problem or anything, but someone actually called me out asking, "How do you not wash yourself?" so now I'm curious about how things work generally regarding this stuff.

When I'm at home, my routine is usually burning through a roll or two of TP, then hitting the wet wipes, and finally hopping in the shower (sorry, I don't have a "normal" stall, I basically have to "climb into" my shower 🙂 ). I try to avoid using public restrooms whenever possible, but if I'm absolutely stuck, I rely on baby wipes or those wipes from DM. Otherwise, when I'm showering, I use Hygiei Ansoo liquid soap—it's specifically made for that purpose, you can pick it up at local pharmacies or DM. It lasts a long time and works great. 👍 As far as pee goes, I don't jump in the shower after every single urination (god, I'm such a saint 😳 ), I just use paper or wipes (either baby wipes or feminine hygiene wipes).👋

Whatever said:Look, there’s really no argument here—if someone is in a position to hire, they can absolutely bring on someone famous if that person actually has the skills and qualifications for the job. That happens everywhere.

It’s one thing if we’re talking about a private corporation. I mean, if you want to, you can hire your late grandmother at your own company; it doesn't affect me at all. It's your money, you do what you want. But when you're dealing with a state-owned entity, that's a whole different ballgame. 😠 If there are a hundred other applicants—or even just one—who are just as qualified or even more capable, where does that give you the right to just hand a job to a relative? 😠

Honestly, until recently, I actually thought Delta Air Lines was a private company because half the staff there seems to be Mišetićev's extended family. It’s honestly disgusting! 👎 🙂
