It's hitting 105 degrees...

The humidity is actually super low, so the heat is totally manageable... except for when you're stuck behind a slow-moving subway or whatever other transit "obstacles" pop up.

Like, did you go because you started feeling something off, or did you just happen to feel a lump and wonder what on earth it was? I've got this slight thickening on my neck that doctors say is just a cyst... is that cold lump of yours a cyst too, or something else entirely?😘
Douglas Morris2 said:What kind of tests did you get done before they finally pushed you toward surgery? I’ve had my bloodwork checked—everything looks normal—and an ultrasound on my thyroid where they spotted those cysts.
Douglas Morris2 said:so what did you actually do then?

Looking at their surroundings, they seem incredibly selfish, though honestly, they seem perfectly fine with themselves. At least, that’s my takeaway when looking at people without kids.
And the fact that "do-gooders" are pushing this stuff... well, that's just standard procedure. 😁
But hey, what can you do? Not every woman is cut out for motherhood, period.

Num_Lock said:The bottom line is we’re paying our health insurance premiums just to turn around and pay doctors $10 out of pocket for a basic checkup once a month plus $3.25 whatever copay for prescriptions... some people will say it’s not even that much money... but then what the hell are we actually paying those insurance premiums for??
QUOTE]
We aren't paying for healthcare, we're paying for nothing. That’s exactly why the whole system is a disaster—nobody is actually footing the bill. Copays are a joke, funding is non-existent... and nobody seems to care where the money is supposed to come from. Like, seriously, think about how much a heart surgery costs versus what the patient actually contributes out of pocket? It's practically zero. We need to hike up those copays and make sure everyone is actually invested in the system, not just a tiny fraction of the population. It's pathetic. Healthcare is expensive, yet nobody is actually paying for it!
