If you strip away the commission fees, then you're looking at a "zero-sum game." For every dollar one person gains, someone else has to lose it.

But on this losing side, you've got corporations and everyday Americans who can actually afford to take a hit from currency fluctuations....

That creates an opening for traders to turn a profit, though they claim only 5% succeed... honestly, that success rate is pretty much identical to playing the stock market...

Bloomberg is essentially currency trading.

You also have leverage, which lets you trade positions that are X times larger than what you actually put down...

That’s how you can rake in massive profits, but it's also how you end up losing way more than you intended...

I used to mess around with this stuff on demo accounts just to see how it worked...

But these people got absolutely wrecked because someone promised them they'd trade their money on Bloomberg and pay out all the gains... 🤣

They’ve clearly done some math over here in the States: they figure out how much half a liter of water costs, then just tack on the price of Tang on top of that...

Nice try, though... but honestly, it doesn't look like people are biting. In my local corner store, those things are basically just collecting dust...

You might as well just take those regular economics courses for free...

Spacing should be between 30 to 40 inches... no government incentives available right now... for seedling prices, just call up some local nurseries. You usually want to plant them in the fall or early spring...

As for care—look, some people just plant them and don't touch them for five years, but then you end up with terrible quality crops. We fertilize ours every single year with synthetic fertilizer and make sure we stay on top of weeding and mowing regularly....

The only real issue is that everyone has started mass-planting them again lately, so I'm a bit skeptical about whether today's high market prices will actually hold up... but hey, who knows... maybe one day we'll be exporting them ourselves... in places like Canada, they were selling for like $22 to $30 a pound...

That "great" financial report was already baked into the price... it would have needed to be way better than what everyone anticipated to actually push the price higher.

Basically, a buddy of mine was asking me which stock just spiked 17 percent in a single day....

So I pull up the NASDAQ to check...

Between 2004 and 2006, there were only about 12 trades... last price was $67

29.20. Then suddenly someone buys 10 shares at 235 ... (which is where my friend sees that 17 percent jump)

Only for someone else to dump 210 shares two days later at $88....

So now... is this just a pump and dump?

Or actually good news? 🙂
