Morning. Well, yeah, obviously there's more of them now—congrats on finally noticing the hot water is running. Honestly, we've got enough people here to split into two separate teams if we wanted to.
Every religion needs its own infrastructure to actually function. To me, the Church is the backbone of faith—the vessel that carries it. Period. Some random incident involving some jerk priest in some tiny parish isn't the benchmark; that’s just an outlier. It’s a statistical anomaly at best. Given how massive the Church is and how much good it actually does, you guys have no idea. Even just having the freedom to go somewhere, pray, and confess... that matters. Nobody is forcing you to show up. There’s a reason things work this way. For instance, when people face death, there isn't a single soul on this planet who doesn't look for comfort from someone. (Unless, obviously, they get hit by a car and don't have time to turn to anyone 😬 )
Try looking at it this way. Certain customs and unwritten rules just have to exist; they're right there when you need them. Someone mentioned that the Church used to be stronger. Man, back then, the Church was *everything*. Without those foundations and that entire heritage, we’d all be in total chaos right now. I’m certain of it.
The real issue with the Catholic Church is this weird paradox: throughout history, it’s been the primary keeper of knowledge—knowledge that’s eventually going to cost it dearly. The wealthy elites who built their fortunes on that knowledge and technology are going to try to impose their own new standards of behavior. They'll try to manufacture their own politics, all driven by pure arrogance and boredom.
And this whole situation with immigrants? That's the real test. I’m dying to see all you "smart" people figure out how America is going to unify, pull itself together, and stand up against this challenge. I'm genuinely curious to see how it plays out.
You’re out here coming at the church like you’re some kind of crusader, but honestly? You’re treating them just like you’d treat some random heretic on the street 🙂

It’s not even about Islam, man. It's US. We’re going through the exact same cycle, just in reverse. We hit the breaking point and now we're retreating, while they're coming up behind us, riding this massive renaissance wave and seizing the moment. It’s like we’re circling back to square one all over again. Everything is getting messy, and these new, crazy challenges we haven't even dreamed of yet are starting to pile up. And the Church? It’s weak this time around—we pretty much tore it apart from the inside. It’s gonna be a wild ride, believe me.
Yeah, look, it was a hell of a bumpy ride. There was so much damn pushback because people just didn't get what we were actually trying to do right out of the gate. Sometimes you've gotta stir up a little chaos to make way for a whole lot more good ☕
To me, Jesus and the Bible feel more like a user manual. It’s all designed to be accessible, you know? Like, easy for any regular person to actually wrap their head around. It’s basically just a blueprint for how to act—a guide to navigating life. Anyone who doesn't get that, or refuses to accept it while trying to look superior (looking at you, atheists, who either totally miss the point or are just acting smart for the sake of it), is a complete idiot.

George Best was an absolute legend, and he was Protestant☕
Just thinking out loud here, though football is dominated by Catholics globally, which might explain why so many players seem a bit slow on the pitch...
It's clear Patrick Martin was listening closely to Darij
Thank God we don't go around judging or casting people out here; we give everyone a fair shake. ☕
George Best was an absolute legend, and he was Protestant. ☕
That's exactly why his life ended up the way it did. ☕
Just a quick observation: even though most people playing soccer globally are probably Catholic, which might explain why half these players seem like total dimwits.
And how much of a moron are you being, calling your own idols dimwits?
It's obvious Patrick Martin was actually paying attention to what Darij was saying.
Clearly you played fullback. 😂
Man, listen... the point was made specifically regarding the top ten players in the world. Maybe try actually listening for once. ☕
Look, after four absolutely killer seasons, that incredible show The Wire finally gets its successor in the form of this heavy-hitting, full-blown feature film. Handling everything both in front of and behind the lens is Marc Anthony—this powerhouse American actor and director who basically breathed life into one of the most intense characters of the 21st century. Yep, you guessed it, we’re talking about Circe and his wild ride leading up to a massive turning point.
If you actually want to follow what's happening here, do yourself a favor and binge the whole series first. It’s a tragedy, really, because over here in the States, the whole thing totally flew under the radar, which honestly isn't surprising given how things usually go with ☕
