Well, you probably haven't watched it because you can't even relate to the talent we end up sending. It feels like in America, people only tune into Eurovision just to see how badly we're going to embarrass ourselves. We are constantly picking the wrong songs or the wrong artists. First off, we need to actually raise the bar during our national selection process. Only then do we have any right to feel optimistic about anything. We need to take a hard look at where we stand and figure out exactly what we're doing wrong.
A song for Eurovision shouldn't be slapped together right before the competition starts. There’s an entire year between contests—that is plenty of time for actual, legitimate preparation.
Look, let's be real—we aren't built for the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry. We're just a bunch of rough-around-the-edges characters, honestly. The whole nation is basically in a state of total chaos right now. And seriously, isn't our President basically playing musician at this point? I mean, if I were in his shoes, I'd be absolutely mortified.
What a joke! For a massive tourist destination like us, it’s pathetic that we can't even pull this off properly or make any sense of it. Honestly, it makes me 🤮
So I finally sat down and watched that much-hyped movie The Godfather, and honestly? I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that it was directed by the same guy behind Drive and Only God Forgives. I mean, this is easily one, maybe even two levels above those other flicks. In The Godfather, you actually get characters that stick with you—real, gritty people—set within a plot that feels incredibly relevant and gripping, like something that could be happening right now in some neighborhood just down the street from us. The cinematography and the way they handle the camera work is a total knockout, and man, that ending? It completely won me over.
Look, I don't see fan banter or just messing with people as trolling at all. 🤷 Sometimes a conversation or a specific topic just gets me fired up, you know? My temper takes over. It’s never been my goal to pick on someone just because they're being boring or whatever. I don't do it out of nowhere, ever. 🤷
Take this one Example, for instance—it’s basically her signature move, but hey, those are just emotions, lady. ☕

Why do I feel like that comment was actually aimed right at my post?
@ Taylor Cook96, yeah, I'm getting that vibe too ☕
Man, these were the ones I grew up blasting (literally my first obsession):
Riblja Čorba / Mrtva Priroda AC/DC / Back in Black CCR / Chronicle Vol. 1 Van Halen / Diver Down Rolling Stones / Rolled Gold Beatles / Help ... Just absolute masterpieces, even by today's standards.

Look, I wasn't even talking about him playing some heavy-hitter role. Like, I don't mean him headlining some gritty prestige drama or an Oscar contender.

I mean, I get it, but if he hasn't stacked enough cash by this point... not to mention, he’s basically stuck. He can’t even land a decent, heavy-hitting role—something that actually fits his age—simply because he's trapped by that whole specific persona he's built up.
Saw him pop up in two different movie trailers yesterday, one for Paranoia and another for Ender's Game. Man, he’s aged, honestly... just turned into a total money grabber at this point. 🤷
