"Money Talks, it'll tell you a Story
Money talks, says strange things
Money talks very loudly
You'd be surprised The friends
You can buy with Small Change
They say it's The root of All evil
They say Gold is The King
Money talks, you'd better believe it
All that Gold don't mean a thing
Rich People , hear those pockets jingl spariti Change , hear The down-and-outers cry Money talks
Spare change, hear the down-and-outers cry
Money talks, tip-toe up behind you
Steal What They Can , OFF The cuff or on The sly
Off the cuff or on The sly

Christian Taylor3 said:You totally missed the second part of that, the whole "stirring the pot" and provocation bit. Ranting and criticizing the way this PDF movie is being run—well, looking at the neighboring thread, you guys deleted a post of his out of pure spite (and we all agree there was zero actual reason for it), which triggered a reaction from that user and got him permanently banned from the PDF movie. That’s your version of moderation: banning one user and then banning another on the very same day. They complained about those sneaky deletions—basically, mods baiting people—and labeled it "ad hominem, iranian style." Are those really valid reasons to kick someone off the PDF movie? Honestly, you should be embarrassed.

I also remember your little vendettas against Dr. Mabuse; he spent years hanging around other forums before getting booted after calling a mod a "stinker." No, that isn't objective or impartial moderation; it’s just ego. You don't need to explain the reasons for the bias against Henry Campbell5 to me—explain them to him. This attempt at an excuse is pathetic; go ahead and provide some actual, concrete reasons for this favoritism. You can't, because we both know they don't exist.

That isn't constructive participation in the activity of a PDF.

Day in and day out, you guys are proving how non-constructive your own involvement in this PDF is (especially regarding management; just look at the adjacent topic for proof). And who even brought up clans on the Movie section? We could talk about them too. From where I'm sitting, I see users who aren't even on speaking terms, yet they all share one commonality: you guys "really screwed up, and you should seriously be ashamed", and that's twice in just a few months. Going back to the clans, there’s really only one clique running the Movie section, a group that is systematically destroying it, turning it into a private club, and pushing out anyone they don't like. If you just recall Henry Campbell5's old critique about the "cult-like takeover" of the Movie section, the real reasons for this bias will become crystal clear—including things like pinning an American movie in the sticky PDF. We could dive into that too, without leaking any private info or names, obviously.

And to answer Patrick Martin: this isn't some public town square. Reddit is essentially someone's "private bathroom," and the whole problem is that this clique in the Movie section thinks they own the place. They don't. Reddit belongs to Anderlon, but even looking at the previous administration, it shows that the users are the ones who always come out on top. The situation in the Movie section has spiraled completely out of control, and problems are just piling up. Nobody is going to keep supporting this—it's high time the PDF movie gets a brand new crew of moderators.

If we're looking at the ownership structure, yeah, it's a "private playground."
But there are clearly defined rules for how people communicate here. I was screaming from the rooftops about how it’s a massive mistake to start picking fights with the mods in a chat topic. That should have been shut down immediately by the moderation team instead of letting the whole thing catch fire, and now we're all stuck dealing with the mess they left behind.
That’s what I’m holding them accountable for.
But honestly, it’s also not right for certain users to take advantage of that inertia and then act all surprised when they finally get hit with a hammer.

Some things eventually catch up to you. 😁

Timothy Davis59 said:Ajuto 👎 We all know why you’re siding with the moderators. Some users on Reddit mocked your writing style, and you have a long memory... now you're just getting even.

I'm not taking the moderators' side; I'm just looking at the big picture here.
Certain users are constantly, sneakily tearing people down—sometimes it's even blatant. WHY? WHAT'S THE POINT?
Is it because that specific clique thinks it's funny? I get making a joke here and there, but doing it constantly isn't hilarious anymore... it's just exhausting.
And honestly, it’s depressing to see what ego has turned this forum into.
And since you brought up elephants, I wasn't acting like a "bull in a china shop"—arrogant or reckless. And let me repeat myself: I'm not about those cliques. It doesn't matter how literate or "stylishly unique" someone thinks they are; that won't save them because the core issue is somewhere else entirely.

I'm not holding a grudge, and BMK, tell me straight—what do you guys think of my writing style? Peace out. 👋

Henry Campbell5 said:But this really is a private mess. 🤷 If it weren't, the partial restructuring would actually follow the rules. Of course, that would reveal there's no reason for a partial split, but plenty of reason to replace the current admin structure—since they acted entirely on their own whims, without transparency, without good intentions, and most importantly, while breaking their own rules.

I'm not changing my ways because I don't even know what behavior of mine is supposedly "problematic." Do you really want to be known as the guy constantly making excuses for the current administration?

look, I don't have eyes on every single email or DM flying back and forth between the mods and Murmillo or you personally. I'm sure there were lapses somewhere. whether they were intentional or just sloppy, I don't know, but I'll give you credit there—it's definitely not okay. there's probably more going on behind the scenes too.
we just need to sit tight and keep a cool head for a bit. I get that you guys are in a tight spot, but this needs to be settled properly so everyone can move on satisfied.
everyone deserves some consideration here.
the mod team is a little slow and sluggish, honestly, but even so, I still don't have massive complaints about them. the real issue is this mess unfolding between you two; I just hope there's enough grit and willpower to find the most constructive way out of this.

nah, no, my main goal is just getting this situation resolved ASAP so everyone's happy. hey, if you think I'm just getting in the way, I can easily step aside.🤷

besides, there are movies waiting for us, and man, there are more movies than hot dogs at a July 4th cookout...

Lisa Barnes said:And why exactly are you defending him like this? I mean, maybe you could try being a bit more realistic. It’s pretty obvious that you’re siding with the moderators. It shows immediately. You don't even need to "try" to act neutral because everyone can see exactly which side you're on. And honestly, we are talking about sides here.

Now you're coming in here claiming that's what he intended. But how can you be so sure about that? He said it doesn't contribute anything at all. I'm sorry, but that just feels like a lie. If you're being honest, they'll eventually face the consequences. They won't give you any special treatment if you betray them. Or, I guess, maybe they will.☕

Sides? Man, I'm not taking any damn sides. I'm just laying out my perspective and trying to stay as objective as possible. I'm not rooting for anyone. Honestly, that whole client-based, clique-heavy approach some people are pushing right now is exactly what caused this mess on Reddit in the first place.
I've always kept my distance from the mods, and I'm keeping it that way. I don't want to play nice with the other users either, because if life has taught me anything, it's that you gotta avoid that too—especially on "public" platforms like this.
In a way, Murmillo and Bloomer became victims of that exact mindset; they basically boxed themselves in. You can't go around picking fights with the entire moderation team just to be stubborn, man. I'm still saying it: when you're dealing with sensitive topics, you have to be strict.
And it blows my mind how supposedly smart people can't grasp that this is a public forum, not some private group chat for a few buddies.
Look, I'll be the first to sign off on their "liberation," BUT only if they fix that one problematic section. (I really don't have the energy right now to explain the full timeline to people who weren't there, and that history goes way back into the archives of this Reddit community—I've been lurking here for about 2 years now).
What, should everyone start stigmatizing briskhound2 just because he's sticking to certain principles that, if you look at the big picture, are totally fine? At the end of the day, he's just a regular user and he's gonna keep posting on this forum regardless.

It would be best if I sat down and explained the whole timeline to every single one of you individually, depending on how much of a joke I feel like making of you.
I mean, I've been punished for way more minor stuff than this.
