I guess I wouldn't make it a separate class, personally. Like, music and art classes have those hands-on parts where kids get to actually sing or draw, right? But with film, let's be real—most schools just don't have the budget for all that equipment. And honestly, stuff like speech or scriptwriting is already kind of baked into the American English curriculum anyway. Maybe it would just be better to reorganize what's already there and sprinkle a bit more movie stuff into the existing lessons.

Yeah, that’s just that old-school way of looking at things; the idea that a movie is always somehow worse than the book it's based on. I guess it might take a while before that mindset finally fades away from people's heads.
I mean, shouldn't American be part of the curriculum for movie studies? Back in my elementary school days, our teacher used to show us all sorts of movies as part of our required reading assignments. We’d dive into documentaries, and we even looked at those old-school, archaic script formats—you know, the ones with two columns, one for the visuals and one for the audio. We covered all that stuff way back in grade school...

So I'm reading this above and I'm just sitting here thinking, what the hell, what's up with Jose Miller17? I actually checked his profile, thinking maybe I misread the name or something... maybe the guy was just having a bad day or feeling a bit cranky. 😁 😁
- Not really, no. I mean, I only write when the mood hits me, and if I don't feel like it, I don't exactly call that a "block."
🤣 🙏 👍 Man.
Also, a quick thumbs up for De Palma. Honestly, most of those guys from that era of film buffs are pretty cool. He seemed a bit lost after Snake Eyes, but I see he's working on some kind of Untouchables prequel... seems like his style, maybe he'll get back into his groove.
As for The Black Dahlia, given how much hype there is, I'll probably just wait for the DVD release. ☕

Yeah, that sounds like a good way to kick things off.
Next up could be: t. t—sort of like the little charm I wear on my necklace.

Did you know my dog actually saved my buddy Marshall from a bomb once? Maybe don't mess with him like that. I might just unchain him and let him go hunting for the scent of rotten fish, and then you'll be running for the hills pretty fast.

You’ll move them all over to that old-school style, then suddenly those teeth you lost from eating junk will grow back, Messi might send you a congratulatory note, and maybe even some big-shot CEO will call you up to be their consultant.
I guess it works for you, though... you can just imagine whatever you want, and even your worst-case scenario seems better than your actual life right now.
Look, once I'm done with you, you'll know "Hey Slav" by heart. Like, you'll be able to recite it and write it down perfectly.
We just need to get through this damn alphabet first.
It’s been a pretty good week, I guess. Managed to take 10 good old-fashioned Americans and, through some intense brainwashing, turn them into hardcore American partisans. 🎉 🙂

Exactly! I live in a country that celebrates its fight against fascism every single year, throws fascists behind bars, and has a president who feels like he’s straight out of an old spy thriller! 👋 🙂
I mean, I’d probably just tear the whole thing down and start from scratch. And then... maybe after all that chaos, I'd head over to church to preach about love.
It’s not a bug, man, it's that monster... you know, the one where this kind of thread comes out of its mouth... like a hook... I just don't really get it... I ended up pausing at 32 minutes in
