I mean, those evil doctors are just cowards, honestly... they’re always running away from the very things they built 🙂

on the other hand, zombies are kind of like ants, I guess. No matter how many you step on, there’s always more coming, and eventually, you probably just end up becoming one yourself. It feels inevitable, really

so yeah, they're basically unstoppable 😉

uh, honestly, if you include those sociopathic penguins, that’s definitely the scariest thing on the list 👍

out of everything mentioned... zombies, obviously 👍

i guess why?

they're just unstoppable

well, I guess that’s exactly why,

it’s got really great absorption properties 🙂
Man, I'm gonna be pretty bummed out about this... that paper was honestly such a gem 😢

Lawrence Booth2 said:but I mean, how many times have I actually walked down to the video rental shop, grabbed a tape, gotten all the way home, and then just... couldn't get it to play? Either the thing was totally trashed, or maybe it was recorded in DivX and I only had an SP player, or there’s just no beginning, it’s just the end... someone probably messed it up and tried to fix it with some crappy scotch tape or duct tape, or I’d have to clean the heads, or deal with a tangled ribbon... stuff like that, I guess.

well, yeah, you've got a point there 👍

you probably don't even go to the movies, right? I mean, there's always a chance a parking meter cop might snag your car, or some guy with a massive afro ends up sitting right in front of you... plus there's that statistical possibility that the ceiling might just cave in on you (if you're a skater or smoke that kind of stuff), and then there are those rumors about scattered photons hitting the audience causing cancer, not to mention your eardrums popping because some technician was being careless setting up the speakers under your seat, or the slim chance your phone explodes in your hand from all that intense switching on and off before and after the film starts, or those annoying whisperers who just ruin your focus,

I mean, man, going to the theater or a video store feels like climbing Mount Everest at this point. You could probably write a whole book about your experiences, maybe you'll even get a medal or something

It’s just... kind of arrogant, I guess? It feels super confusing, unfinished, and honestly, just poorly written. Total garbage. 👎 👎

i mean, maybe it's just because you aren't much to look at... I don't think they're really the ones to blame, I guess 🙄

anyway, my suggestion would still be Spider-Man 👍

Since you seem to think people are actually unpredictable in how they act, I guess I have to wonder... do you live in a room with bars on the windows? 🙂

I guess I’ll weigh in too; it feels pretty obvious that Anderson's characters basically ignore every psychological and sociological rule in the book. They act so unrealistic and caricatured... honestly, if someone were to put a revolver to my head, I'd say they don't have much to do with real life at all 👍

at least compared to the people I know

Jason Chavez32 said:I mean, at this point, all we've got left is Hollywood, and honestly? It’s a film magazine printed on paper that feels even cheaper than some local grocery store circular, complete with those grainy black and white photos. Just... yikes.

Man, I don't know, maybe you aren't really reading it for the paper quality anyway, right? 🙂

Maybe you should have been more prophetic and just said that from the start. 😵
😁

😁

Apparently, people were still overhyping him two years after those terrible reviews in San Francisco

but honestly, the best compliments I heard came from the "select" group at the premiere:

"Brilliant... Tense and terrifying... Better than the original..." 🤣

I heard it was pretty bad...

The movie didn't win any awards even in San Francisco, and everyone there usually walks away with something, I guess.😁

Regarding the topic at hand; I used to pick up Empire quite often, but honestly, with everything online now, I don't really feel the need to hunt down foreign magazines anymore. I can find all the info I want on IMDb, Ain't It Cool News, Rotten Tomatoes, or those Roger Ebert reviews... plus our local tabloids

but when it comes to the US stuff, I still grab Hollywood (since issue 10) and maybe some Total Film (if they're still around)
