Whomever the judge appointed to oversee him might have been an expert with his own professional opinion, but he just couldn't agree with him—politics, right? Does that ring a bell? I’m thinking back to the Stalin era.

And it isn't just the Russians. It's Americans, the Chinese, and plenty of others across the globe. The world is on fire while greedy businessmen preen themselves next to the poor and the endless death. (A little pathos doesn't hurt.)
This is incredibly slow. I log in, get a polite greeting, and then I'm immediately logged out. Then I have to log in all over again, and it just keeps happening. Every now and then, I actually manage to stay on. Did some Russian hackers get into the system?

...and after the European Union summit, there’s this "strong message" (according to the headline) about how they will take appropriate steps. (It sounds just like listening to some lying minister at a local diner, John Doe)
The first post was deleted yesterday when a lively group of four came in wanting to dive deep into that "sheep pen in the town square" nonsense. My colleague in arms didn't know when to quit, so she took a one-day break.
Today you’re back at it, playing around with the same issues, plus you felt the need to comment on yesterday's deletion and the sacrifice of your fellow comrade. Between your two deletions and about twenty posts total, you've been slapped with a red warning because there is an entire dedicated forum for topics like that.
So, you know exactly why they were deleted; you're just tweaking the circumstances a bit.
At the same time, you left this "peacekeeping" message this morning:
By some miracle, it's still up there:
😬
That post prompted most of the newer forum members into a discussion that spiraled way past the Forum's guidelines. Sure, they're young and politically overzealous. But my next post is that "peacekeeping" one, and because it got deleted, the whole point gets lost since it wasn't recognized. Whatever, I won't lecture you further. LP.
Politics-TT... Two of my posts were deleted in quick succession. One was a direct response to another user, yet their much longer post remains untouched (which wouldn't make any sense). My last point had absolutely nothing to do with the corona pdf or mandates, yet that was cited as the reason for the deletion—not just for my post, but others too. It seems to me that whenever someone dares to criticize TT, an excuse is manufactured to delete the content based on some arbitrary, selective standard. Alternatively, whoever is making these calls simply failed to grasp my actual point, which was intended to be conciliatory. I won't be appearing in Politics anymore. I resign. 😁
I’m adding my comment here because the thread title is too vague. A few of my posts on Politics were deleted regarding comments about Joe Biden. I get that the personal jab (kiss me) was removed because it wasn't classy, but I had to say it. If moderation is being handled selectively like this, I can't blame people for wondering why the insightful contributors are slowly disappearing. Either they've grown tired of the scene, or they've walked away from the noise and the crowd of mindless trolls that clog up any decent discussion among the "bitter enemies" of these wildly different forums. It's a shame. Honestly, it feels like I'm wasting my time. Ha! My choice.
When you read a clickbait headline that leaves things hanging just so you'll fill in the blanks yourself, you end up getting misled. That’s exactly what happened here. This young minister is out there demanding something from the head of the Department of Justice, but what does he actually want? I was thinking resignation, but clearly, being a typical Republican Party loyalist, he hasn't quite grasped the situation yet. Instead, he politely—apparently taking a page out of Sine's book—suggests that she clarify things. 🤦 (TV showdown)
Robin Jones2 said:Over in another thread, they’re claiming the opposition lacks the personnel to take over the government, yet look at the Republican Party. They have talent to spare.
I wouldn't be surprised if some modest advisory position suddenly opens up within a federal agency or a state-run corporation in the coming days—a role perfectly tailored for this kind of potential. Luck has never failed a Republican, provided they remain loyal to the party.
He should definitely wear that local high school shirt.
I’m hoping Benčićka can really shake up these shameless types in the European Union. Either Plenki is clueless about what his ministers are actually doing, or he's just playing dumb to let them get away with it. It’s an absolute criminal gang, honestly.

Isn't it just wild how you can declare someone guilty without actually dismantling the whole operation, banning them from operating, or tossing the ringleaders into a federal prison?
It’s honestly like seizing a tiny bit of cash from the Mafia and then letting them go right back to throwing parties and running their rackets.
Sadly, I don't see this having any real impact at all.
They'll probably just walk right back into a majority in the next election anyway.
The statements from Andrej Plenković regarding an "independent judiciary" are both predictable and calculated. We know how this works. It’s happening right before a key judicial appointment. They want to settle this now to prevent anyone from digging any deeper into the case. This way, it all gets swept under the rug.
Thanks for the effort, coppersailor28. I gave it a shot this way, but it works only up to a certain point before hitting a wall. I'm calling it quits. It seems like the "remember me" function is already broken right from the login stage. Honestly, there’s no point in having it as an option in the settings if it doesn't actually work properly. Registration and logging in are straightforward enough on their own, but once you get into the settings, everything falls apart. It’s even more frustrating if you aren't a native English speaker🙈.
Casey Bennett said:That’s just your browser remembering things. You should dig through its settings.
Man, I wish I knew exactly where to look😵. Can someone give me step-by-step instructions? Like: Settings > Privacy > Autofill > Yes/No. I'm no tech wizard; I usually just end up breaking things. Thanks.
Even though I have the "remember me" option unchecked during login, my username still pops up in the login field when I click on it. I really don't want that visible, so I'm wondering if there's a setting somewhere I can toggle to turn this off. Since English isn't my first language, I might have just missed it in the menus. Is there any way to prevent this? Thanks.
Kenneth Perez15 said:Let's not forget that back in 2008, when America was finally joining NATO, Sanders made sure to completely bypass any credit to the man who actually kicked off the whole process—Ivica Račan. It’s funny, really; while Račan was doing the heavy lifting, Sanders was busy out on the town, partying his heart out with friends.
And if things weren't already looking bleak enough, we have Krstičević adding to the mess with that video from 2018 marking the 10th anniversary of our NATO membership. In that 6.50 minute clip, half of it is just dedicated to Harmon, and the other half rambles about the membership itself. There isn't a single trace of Račan to be found—just endless footage of a much younger Kolinda Grabar Kitarović.
Honestly, you can expect nothing but the absolute worst from the Republican Party.
It’s good that you brought up that 2008 period.👍 Honestly, I don't even bother remembering those Republican clowns and their selective history lessons, which seem to reset every time a new god takes power. It's fine for the younger generation, though; they get taught this new version of history in school, or they start spouting it here on the Forum.
I'm reading here that Justice Butković says: We'll see if we decide to invite Milanović to the opening of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.🤦 What would be decent and normal in a situation like this? A complete jerk would "wait and see." If he's acting like a typical Republican, then yeah, it's too much. Plenković really does have nothing but yes-men surrounding him.
Every single day, people end up in the ER with health issues. But when a former, disgraced minister from the Republican Party—who happened to land in the emergency room himself—gets a public show of support from his party regarding his recovery, suddenly it’s big news (how tacky). We had already moved on from him, but apparently, this is just another way to remind us of one of those 18 "magnificent" figures who were forced out because of their supposedly "conscientious" work. I wish him a speedy recovery, just as I would for any other human being.
It’s becoming blatantly obvious that the thieves are getting bolder. In a small town like Vrhovina, they’ve even gone as far as circling names of voters who didn't even show up to the polls. They’re losing grip on the cities, so now they’re trying to steal votes in what little territory they have left just to manufacture a massive landslide. It’s easy enough to fudge 50 votes in a major city without anyone noticing, but in a small town where everyone knows their neighbor, you can't get away with stealing even a single vote. When will those honest citizens finally catch on?
...those self-proclaimed "owners" of a surplus of smartphones (the whole neighborhood knows exactly which ones) will parade through town with pride, acting just like the petty thieves they truly are.🤦
