Well, why not? If it actually serves a purpose, I say go for it. At the end of the day, they’re either going to perish anyway or just end up being worm food and all that other nonsense. 😬
So, this is basically what my running playlist looks like lately:
1. REM-Leaving ny 2. Ramones- Pet cemetery 3.The cure-Close too me 4. The Cure-Just like heaven 5. U2-sunday bloody sunday 6. Depeche Mode-Enjoy The silence 7. Depeche Mode-Policy of Truth 8. Depeche moda - Personal Jesus 9. Joy Division-Love will tell as apart
The media has been absolutely obsessed with Madonna and her mother for the last few days. It’s constant. So, the other day, I decided to pick up an issue of > just to clear my head, and I ended up reading this interview with Matthew Dedić. Now, look, let's be clear—I've always had a lot of respect for the kid, especially his father. I still hold a huge amount of respect for Arsen today, but it feels like his son has taken a massive turn in the wrong direction. Honestly, the things he was saying... even a toddler in preschool wouldn't say something that ridiculous. Like that comment about how someone walking in with a "drink" in their hand could fill an entire arena? Seriously? I have to wonder what happened to him. At one point, he even went on about how America is just too small for him. Well, dear Matthew, if that's the case, why are you even here? That whole exchange with the reporter just gave me the impression that he's become a bit of an arrogant jerk. I honestly don't see why he even bothered with that performance alongside Madonna at the BP Club. Poor Boško Petrovic probably just went home to sleep through the whole thing.

So, honestly, stick to tea or at least some lukewarm water—it’ll actually quench your thirst better and won't leave you feeling dehydrated! And Coca-Cola? That stuff is straight-up poison!
Anyway, I don't touch Coca-Cola anymore. I have no idea what I was thinking when I used to buy it all the time. 🙂 Today I'm just sticking to rosehip tea. This hasn't really happened to me before... I used to drink it constantly, usually along with ice-cold water. Then, out of nowhere, everything changed. At first, I thought maybe it was just the cold water causing issues, but it looks like I've actually given my gut a bit of a shock. It's strange, though... I can't quite figure out why my body isn't reacting the same way it used to.
Thanks, everyone. I'm feeling much better now, thankfully. Niam hasn't had anything cold to drink yet. I think I'll just stick to tea all day today... you know, just to be safe. At first, I actually thought maybe it was from my run—just overdoing it a bit during the workout—but if that were the case, I think I would have felt it right away. No, this definitely came from drinking too much ice water.
It all started this past Saturday. I ordered a pizza topped with eggs—not my best idea, looking back. Then I washed it down with some ice-cold Coca-Cola, and suddenly my stomach just... revolted. You know that sensation? Like your gut is literally growling and churning inside you? Well, it ended with me running for the bathroom with a bad case of diarrhea. 😬 I kept drinking cold water from that annoying vending machine, and honestly, my digestive tract just wouldn't quit on me. I spent half my time stuck in the restroom. It even happened again on Sunday because, apparently, I wasn't learning my lesson and had more cold water mixed with Coca-Cola. This morning, things seemed fine after I had some cornflakes and yogurt, but then I made the mistake of drinking three glasses of cold Coca-Cola and boom—right back to square one. I haven't picked up my prescription from Samuel yet since I don't have a fever or any actual aches, just these sudden, temporary cramps in my lower abdomen that force me to run to the toilet. Is it possible I just gave my digestive system a bit of a shock with all that ice-cold water? Any tips on how to settle things down? Should I try sticking to tea?
