They said I could pick up the cash via Western Union, but there’s a catch—I have to wire them $200 first for "identification purposes" and some security stuff to get an official file tag (IRF). They even gave me the exact details for where to send the money. Obviously, I didn't send anything because it sounds totally sketchy... Has anyone else dealt with something like this lately?

So, I stumbled upon this article the other day claiming that distillation is basically the only way to actually get pure water. Apparently, the device they’re pushing costs a fortune because regular filters just aren't up to the task... Is that true? Everything’s super limited around my place right now, and honestly, I can't even make the trek into downtown Chicago just to hunt down some denim... I tried on a pair of those manga-style ones, and honestly, they look amazing on me... but I’m just not feeling the pattern. I feel like if I buy them, it'll just be a total waste of money because I know I won't actually wear them...
The last ones I tried were Diesel, and honestly, they fit me like a glove... but the price tag is sitting right around $567 (ugh, so painful...). I can't stop thinking about them, and if I don't find something similar that won't break the bank, I think I'm just gonna cave and buy them...
Honestly, I just pull out my thickest pair of socks and then struggle like crazy just to squeeze my foot into a shoe or a boot, and once I'm in, I just lounge around the house like that. It actually works great because they stretch out perfectly over time.... I don't go out and buy a smaller size or anything, it's just that my right foot is a bit more muscular than the left, so I run into this issue pretty often...

Turns out they were the only ones actually offering it—even brands like Arena don't have them... I took them out for a test run under the midday sun yesterday, and honestly? I'm obsessed!

I've been swimming in the ocean without goggles since I was a kid, but after everything you just said, I finally decided this is the year I actually grab a pair. Seriously, try swimming for at least thirty minutes while heading back to shore when the sun is hitting you dead in the eyes, then get back to me...🙂
Basically, I really need to test these out before I drop any money on them.
I don't usually swim in pools, but when I'm out in the ocean, the sun hitting my eyes is just such a massive pain... I've actually never even swum in a pool before.
Which ones are actually worth it? I noticed the prices range anywhere from $50 to $50. I know Speedo makes solid gear, but even with them, the price gap is pretty huge. Any advice on which ones to go for?

I actually can't wear contacts anymore. I have a few brand new ones just sitting in their case at home after only wearing them a couple times. That's why I'd really love to get some prescription sunglasses made...

Those are actually special high-index lenses made for people with really strong prescriptions who want their glasses to look thinner. That’s why they cost an arm and a leg.
I also heard somewhere that using them for both vision correction and sun protection might not be the best move for your eyes... Does anyone know why that is?
So I was actually in NYC a few days ago, so I can definitely make a comparison. Honestly, there isn't a massive difference... some things you'll find there that are totally missing here, and vice versa. But overall, it feels pretty much the same. It actually felt like NYC had way more stuff to choose from before...

Honestly, if you're shopping in NYC, the quality is way better than what you'll find in a place like San Diego, for example. Every time I hit up the Sisley and Benetton shops in NYC, the stock is totally different from the stuff in SD—there's more variety, better selection, and the quality is just on another level...

You probably need a 32 inseam. That’s usually perfect for me when I’m wearing low heels. Most stores should carry different lengths, so it's worth asking. I actually tried some on at Mustang yesterday—they were great! Dark wash, the waist wasn't too low (though they do have high-waisted ones, which aren't really my vibe), and they had various lengths. Plus, you can always cuff the legs if you want to wear them with boots or higher heels...
So I recently picked up some low-rise Diesel jeans, but honestly? They’re totally useless for winter... I’ve learned my lesson though, I have to be super careful about sizing now because if they don't have any stretch, they just stretch out everywhere. I've already gone through two pairs like that...
I haven't seen those photos, and honestly, I'm probably better off for it. I’m not really a big meat eater, so I don't spend much time thinking about it. If I ever do have some, it’s usually just whatever my family brings out from our farm back home. My heart breaks for the animals, but I feel even worse for people out there who are actually starving and can't afford to eat.
Look, I’m not actually anti-milk or anything. I can drink it just fine and it doesn't mess with my system at all. My issue is really more about how they mass-produce it and the whole way those animals are treated... I also feel like those articles claiming everyone should quit dairy are being way over the top. Obviously, if you have an actual allergy, you've gotta stay away from it. And yeah, doctors usually suggest waiting a bit before introducing it to little kids, too.
