I honestly can’t believe the sheer level of high-and-mighty, pathetic posturing some of these spikes are pulling lately...

That flag has been part of the whole old-school vibe for as long as I can remember—think "Let's go Chelsea" and all that stuff—but now, suddenly, these people who clearly weren't even at the stadium back in the day are acting like holy crusaders or some kind of hardcore anti-imperialist activists. 🙄

You can see two (2) Union Jacks right there in the stands 😁

And look, it's front and center right here too, and I won't even bother posting more links than I have to

So what if someone in the crowd leaned into that retro style? So what if they "betrayed" their country or their faith and now they're facing sanctions from the local Taliban types? Seriously? I don't see any reason to act like your typical neurotic mess and feel ashamed of your own history.

Sure He can, but not when it comes to people... maybe the only exception is the cheering, specifically that sleepy dude lounging on his couch from that fan highlight video:

BTB, and honestly, all that old-school Chicago slang is just some pretentious, middle-class wannabe nonsense—you know, like those people who try way too hard to sound sophisticated—especially when people act like that whole vocabulary is still a thing... because I don't know a single living soul who actually uses terms like "schlemiel," "mensch," or any of those other outdated bits of junk anymore.

Jeremy Mitchell11 said:I mean, I don't follow everything too closely, I don't know exactly what's going down in Chicago, other than reading all this stuff on the forums about how much repression there is and blah blah blah, but I still think we need more... it's the first game, it's yours, it's your club, and after a million years or so, maybe something actually good and positive will happen, so I'm thinking things might pick up a bit.

The Stadium and basically anything involving the fan scene has become something only people with iron stomachs can handle, regardless of which "side" of the fence they're on, and honestly, only the rare few outside the West Stand who aren't viewed as "enemies" by official authorities get the privilege of showing up without getting served their own little portion of trouble.
And looking at this seemingly inexplicable repression and this years-long, painful tragicomedy—at least based on what you guys are posting here—it’s pretty clear that a massive number of people who used to be everywhere, up, down, left, and right in the Salad stands, definitely fall under the BBB category, whether they were former members, current ones, or just people who stopped showing up for various objective or subjective reasons—and that number is SURPRISINGLY high.
Everyone else who considers themselves a "Dynamo" fan really needs to wake up from this winter slumber or whatever indignation they've fallen into, and the sheer amount of those people, along with the kids in the stands, is just as shocking when you consider how the BBB are portrayed to the outside world. It's obvious that the depths of the hole the Chicago football fan scene has fallen into are hard to grasp for anyone who hasn't personally been rolling around at the bottom of it.

I mean, don't even get me started on how the system constantly pushes those narratives, but honestly, they could have thrown the entire book at him—anything from harassment to straight-up attempted murder for all I care. Who knows what kind of chaos would've broken out in Chicago if they had... there is just such a massive, night and day difference between how things go down in ST versus how the justice system operates in Chicago 🙂

Aaron Richardson7 said:double-edged sword

Nobody’s actually offering a real alternative that lets people—given how much heartache LA Galaxy and the Rose Bowl have caused—actually feel good for once, you know? It’s like when some massive corporation with way too many problems decides to throw a union retreat just so everyone can finally chill out. And honestly, even already, I can see and hear how much interest and good vibes this whole thing has stirred up, so let's just hope it stays that way.
Up until now, the only thing ever pushed as an option was this calculated trap, this constant mantra from those "neutral" Real Madrid fanatics who don't even show up to the games: "if you were real fans, you'd be making the pilgrimage to the stadium." But anyone who’s actually tried to peek around the east side of the stadium or even get close over the last year could see—and feel it on their own skin—exactly what goes down. It wasn't just the Boneheads; it was anyone who dared to give a single wrong comment, look, or movement to that army of different "law enforcement" types. As soon as there’s a significant number of "unauthorized" people in the stands, you're risking your freedom, your job, false accusations, getting hauled into a precinct, being blacklisted, and just straight-up harassment. This so-called "double-edged sword" is nothing more than a minor hiccup, and frankly, it's a welcome break from everything we've dealt with so far. Why shouldn't people get their five minutes of peace? Nothing they do can cause as much damage as what's been happening until now.
I mean, it didn't look any more inviting yesterday—that eerie, empty concentration camp vibe over on the east side, surrounded by kilometers of iron fencing and hundreds of security guards, marshals, "stewards," and riot police that you have to weave through, showing your ticket to everyone and keeping your eyes glued to the ground.

LOL

Look, Seattle Sounders FC and Indianapolis just don't have that coordinated setup or those classic traps designed to wipe out crowds. You know, where they pick people off for nothing—like missing a ticket, sitting in the wrong seat, or even just saying the wrong word. They don't even need a real reason anymore; they just grab ten people at a time every single game and throw them in holding. That’s basically what’s happening at Yankee Stadium and everywhere surrounding it these days.
I mean, is that really not obvious to anyone who's actually been paying attention? 🤷
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
Since we’re on the subject of actually using our brains, there is absolutely no way—and I mean zero chance—that after the last four horrific years, there are people sitting in the stands, even if it's just a few dozen, who "don't have a clue what's happening" or can't tell one thing from another. It’s impossible. Either their information feed has been completely cut off—which, fine, I’ll give you that possibility—or it’s just a total fake excuse. Honestly, with such a tiny group, they might just be the statistical outliers compared to the rest of the population. But whatever, we’re spending way too many words on such a pathetic number, and honestly, nobody needs to take the bait on this one.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
Nobody who actually knows what they’re talking about—aside from those few people who just treat this stuff like some sacred ritual of the tiki-taka lifestyle we all grew up on—ever claimed this was a "done deal" 🤷 And I honestly don't get why you think people ended up behind bars because of those specific claims; people have been suffering massive consequences privately just for fighting for that core idea, whether it's for the Bad Boys or ZZD, believe it or not. Would saying something like "there's zero hope, just give up" have helped instead of throwing insults at fundamental truths or clinging to fake hope? Who knows, neither you nor I can say for sure. Knowing how people work, honestly, that might have been even worse, because then you end up with totally radicalized folks who've lost their minds and are basically in a suicidal headspace. My bad if you don't actually know half these people and you're typing this like someone who hasn't spent a single second talking to anyone about this stuff over all these years. Use a little logic...
Anyway, my take is that you're constantly pushing this pointless thesis just to stir up unnecessary drama here 🤷
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
I didn't actually see anything in that ruling saying she told them to just leave the current commissioner setup alone—which is what you’re claiming above—but instead, it was basically telling them to overhaul the whole thing to actually respect the democratic spirit of the law they flagged in the first place.
How they’re even going to pull that off or what the actual fallout will look like inside Dinamo, honestly, neither of us has a clue.
And as for the fact that a legitimate governing body finally gave the "streets" permission to say the current way things are run at Dinamo is total garbage? I don't see the issue with calling that a win. Especially when you consider how much official agencies and the Courts love to troll everyone.
I have no idea why you keep flipping the script on me. First, you were insisting the Inspectorate ordered this specific thing—which I don't see anywhere—then you were acting like it was a massive victory when nobody was calling it that, and now you're pivoting again, claiming it's all just self-congratulation. I don't know if that's true, and frankly, I don't care, but I also don't get why you're so obsessed with dragging ZZD through the mud or trying to dismiss the whole struggle. You must have some weird personal agenda there.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
Dana Barnes4 said:And that was basically the whole point of all this.

You wrote that someone's claiming the Sports Commission ordered a total overhaul, but I honestly don't see that claim anywhere. All they talked about was 🤷
There aren't any democratic elections for the board

Sure, fixing things would be the only logical move given the fact that there are zero actual elections at the club right now, but since they keep bringing up trustees, the Commission basically just told them to try and achieve that democratic principle through those trustees instead. Because the current setup just doesn't work. As an association, they have enough autonomy to decide how to implement democratic principles, so if they were already mentioning trustees, I don't see why it’s a problem that the Commission suggested they use them to sort it out. It's not like it's an issue that the ZZD suggested it might be easier to handle that principle through some other way.
Whether GNK can actually pull it off, what it'll look like, or even how GNK is going to react—let alone if they sue—is all just pure speculation at this point. Honestly, I don't see any reason to start hyperventilating over this. The ZZD just pointed out that neither the democratic structure nor the level of information provided to members is acceptable as it stands today. I didn't see them using the word "victory," just like I didn't see them claiming the Commission ordered a complete restructuring in the specific way they want it interpreted. Who cares about sensationalist tabloid headlines? The Commission did its job regarding the club's general bylaws the way these bodies always do—kind of half-assed and sloppy. They simply stated that the current state of affairs at GNK isn't working, and that's what was reported. I don't get why people are trying to troll this whole thing with talk of an "obvious defeat"(?) and bickering when nobody even knows how GNK will respond yet, especially since they've been given such a massive amount of room to fix the situation.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
"No elections whatsoever," and yet you're right there quoting the actual ruling: "that the Bylaws shall prescribe the method and conditions for elections"??
Who even decided, in the first place, that the inspectors ordered the democratic principle to be carried out specifically through a one-man, one-vote system? 🤷
It’s pretty clear if you actually read it—it says right there that the members' appeal was upheld as valid, which basically means its whole foundation is that two fundamental management rights of the members were ignored. Even the ruling itself admits it was WRONG to claim that GNK "adhered to the principles and obligations of Art. 6, Sec. 1 and 3." So, how exactly is GNK going to fulfill this "democratic principle" the ruling keeps harping on? Is it through commissioners they just bully or whatever else, I don't know, whatever the inspectors tell them to do? But hey, if they're already lecturing the commissioners, it's only natural they'll tell them to try doing it through those people they mentioned. Well, let them try. Or sue. Honestly, we'll just have to wait and see how that plays out...
Obviously, this isn't a total victory—I don't see anyone from ZZD even claiming it... and IF GNK actually decides to take this to court, or if by some miracle they get a stay of execution, or if they just muddy the waters again without any real sanctions, this whole mess could drag on forever with an uncertain outcome, and well, we all know how things work around here. But just getting a little bit of justice, or at least getting the explicit satisfaction from the body itself that the claims were legitimate—I don't see why that would be a problem?
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
Look, if you couldn't wrap your head around the fact that this wasn't just some empty press release, but an actual sit-down at the facility where the LA Galaxy front office was basically trying to host their biggest rival to hammer out some terms, then yeah, fine—you're right. Absolutely NOTHING is happening. 🤷

Peter Robinson21 said:there’s just so much noise, and like I said, I’m done getting sucked into all this nonsense... everyone claims they're telling the truth, and everyone's lying

Hold on, look—on one hand you’ve got people feeding you "I heard this" and "they say that," which is exactly the kind of idiotic garbage that leads to situations where some guy actually has to pull out his lease papers in front of a whole crowd just to prove he’s lived in his apartment for 20 years. But on the other hand, you have the North employment plan and program, officially titled "From the Stands to the Workforce," which was publicly released, along with how the Dinamo Chicago board signed off on it within those 10 points (even though they were supposed to release 13). And now we're talking about "he said, she said"?? Since you're so obsessed with bringing it up anyway, why don't you just get to the point and tell us what you actually heard? Because this is getting ridiculous—you're pitting official facts published by the actual players against this endless loop of "Black told me that White heard that Yellow said that Mookie heard that Kiki heard." Who isn't even from the North 🙄
What kind of retarded argument is this even supposed to be? Honestly, it reminds me of that pathetic excuse for a history lesson back in '91 about "nationalists from all sides tearing apart our beloved Yugoslavia, boo-hoo." It’s the lowest-tier propaganda trick in the book—just trying to relativize everything and everyone to avoid the actual issue.
Charles Jackson3 said:I'm not even ashamed to admit that my old man is practically begging me to write stuff against Mamić and the graffiti too.

I'd write it anyway, so I might as well take the win. And Mookie acts like he's totally above it all, but I actually saw him grabbing coffee with Miranda, looking all cozy, while Miranda was sliding some cash his way like, "here, take this, take this."

So let's stop lying to ourselves. I bet there are plenty more of you working for them, you're just too chicken to say it.

Is the register at Opačić's place anything else but a joke? It's purely fiscal now; Linich basically forced them to start issuing formal receipts for everything, so now the crew has to wait in line for half an hour just to get paid. 🙂 🙂

Peter Robinson21 said:taking payouts from Mamic or the Democratic Party

Man, enough with this transparently fake attempt at playing both sides by Yutelovski. Who the hell actually took money from a public broadcaster—let alone from the Democratic Party???? Seriously, this just proves that whole Goebbels theory that if you repeat some meaningless garbage a hundred times, people will eventually start swallowing it as "fact."
Then again, you only have to look at that leaked letter the "North Side" released themselves to see how they were openly begging for favors and support from LAFC... so what's there even left to say??

Joshua Moore31 said:let's just rip out their safety net and see if they finally shut up🤣

Yeah, because that's just brilliant logic right there🙏
So the whole issue was the damn net, so let's just get rid of it forever, right? Like, "is it fair now? what else do you want, a freaking glass of milk?"🤣
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
As far as I can tell, they’ve probably repeated it a hundred times by now, but it’s always crucial—for a million different reasons—that fans actually sign up as official members of the club. All this talk about money being used for some cheap one-night party with a local band or whatever? That’s just a bunch of flimsy excuses... The truth is, the CDC commissioner is being directly blocked by the club from enrolling anyone else, and there was a call ages ago for people to just find other ways to join up and get their names into the database anyway.

Thomas Doyle19 said:No joke, that person would actually fit right in at the Yankees

So, just looking at the technical side of things, I’m leaning more toward the Celtics, though honestly, I don't really care 😁
The Yankees are pretty solid, you know, the whole mentality and all that, but they actually have a functioning voting system for their members—even if I bet my life they’d vote to smoke a joint if asked—plus they're in such deep financial hell that there isn't much room to play games with.
The Celtics already have a working fan agency set up, and let's be real, the club is shady as hell, plus their own CEO mentioned just a few days ago that he's "collaborating more with the Celtics." Though, frankly, I have no clue which part he means, or since when, or if he's actually "collaborating" with them or if he means Real Madrid?
