Jeffrey Cook55 said:Just checking in—and yes, I’m being totally paranoid here😬—to say I just took a pregnancy test for the third time today. Obviously completely unnecessary, since that second line showed up bright and clear on the positive result, so there's no doubt about it. 🙂

😘 welcome to the club

Enjoy these early days while they last😘
MarinkaD said:Maybe they just need some sweet encouragement and a kind word—but you two are clearly just messing around!🤣
Just wait until you actually become part of this wonderful world of motherhood!😬

I am definitely not messing around here.😲 My period is ridiculously late—we’re talking since April at this point—and my stomach is already starting to pop.😕 I’m hungry all the time, my breasts are tender, and half the things I used to love now smell absolutely revolting.🙄

Same here—everything is lagging behind and my waistline is definitely expanding. Can someone please explain why this is happening? 🤔

😬

Keep that cash tucked away—you’re gonna need it for the little one eventually. Just hang in there for a bit until those beta levels finally start climbing.😘
MarinkaD said:My appointment is set for January 28th.

I had no clue! They actually pushed my last ultrasound right to that exact date. 👍
Maybe we'll run into each other at the hospital—we could always throw a little party in the lab.😁

Seriously, what's even the point of this 😕
Look, I already gave you my congrats on that other thread, so now I’m just 😘 baby girl

Having him right there will do more to convince them than any speech about how you're a "team" or how he isn't going to leave you hanging—which, let's face it, is usually what the older generation is actually sweating about. Good luck 😘
And congrats 😍

I’m definitely signing off on that whole "being a team" part 👍
I’d also suggest picking up "what to expect during pregnancy" — that group of authors really knows their stuff. I’ve actually read both, and honestly, this one wins for me because most of it is laid out in a quick Q&A format. Plus, there’s a solid glossary at the end—it saves you from having to flip through the entire thing like a madwoman just to find one specific detail.
Alex, is there any way to automate this? Like, can we just set up a trigger so that "GO BUY A TEST!" pops up automatically whenever a thread hits certain keywords—you know, stuff like "is it," "cold symptoms," "PMS," or "nausea and hunger"?

😬
Susan, you said it yourself: you’re 25, your guy is crazy about you, and you both want a baby...
you’re all confused 😉 you’re terrified 😉 you have no clue what comes next 😉
we didn't have a clue either—but look at us now: we've got the full-blown baby bumps, we're happily wandering through Target, and honestly, we can't wait to meet the little ones 😍
Just head to the nearest CVS or Walgreens and grab the cheapest pregnancy test they have—then take it first thing in the morning. If you’re really too impatient to wait, just go pick up a Clearblue and take it right now.
Welcome to the club, lady!
Look, spotting can happen just from an egg trying to find its way into the uterus—it’s all part of the biological chaos—but like the girls already said, you should probably just head to the OBGYN to be safe.

Fiber-rich meals, dried prunes, flaxseeds—basically anything you can throw at a breakfast probiotic...
We’re just sitting here waiting for you to finish up that exam—not that we have anything better to say to you until then 😉

Look, just go get a blood test done—then you'll have a definitive answer instead of guessing.
It’s funny how it works—that moment when parents suddenly decide their kid is "mature enough" to shoulder an absurd amount of responsibility all at once.
Look, everything seems totally fine—and honestly, I’m pretty sure your OB-GYN would tell you the exact same thing. 😉
Ovulation timing is pretty much a roll of the dice for everyone. Your cycle officially kicks off on day one—that’s when you see the first sign of bleeding, as they say back in the rural parts of the Midwest 😬 Before I was pregnant, I spent way too much time falling down internet rabbit holes and found out some women actually ovulate as early as day eight of their cycle
But hey, I don't want to get ahead of myself and freak you out 😘
Raymond Bennett27, look, you’re probably going to absolutely despise me for this, but let’s just call a spade a spade 😬 the cycles you just described—it’s like looking at a mirror image of my own experience. Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I’d just take a test and put this whole thing to bed once and for all.
