Raymond Bennett27, honestly, it all comes down to the individual. Whether or not you actually show symptoms depends entirely on your specific hormone levels.
The one thing I can't wrap my head around is whether your period is three weeks late, or if it’s been three weeks since ovulation and you're just still waiting for it to show up.
And look—if your boyfriend didn't finish inside, I'd say the odds of you being pregnant are incredibly slim. The only real red flag is if you weren't using any protection at all, because guys can "leak" before they even reach the finish line, and even those little pull-out methods or condoms can have enough sperm to cause trouble. Basically, what I'm trying to say is: if you ovulated during that window and you weren't using contraception, it doesn't take a massive amount of fluid to get pregnant.😉
Raymond Bennett27, welcome to the club—though you might want to think about changing that username 😉
Just kidding, but seriously—my early pregnancy felt exactly like PMS, right down to my favorite Chardonnay suddenly smelling like garbage 🙄
Grab a test tomorrow, follow the instructions, and you'll have your answer. If you're freaking out and need 100% certainty right this second, just head over to your local clinic and get a blood test; they can give you the results directly if you don't trust those little plastic sticks
Well, you know what they say—what goes up must come down. :mahMah:
I’m hoping we cross paths again in a few years, once you all finally stop keeping such a close eye on everything. 😉
Mary gave you solid advice—any test will do. I had one of those cheap drugstore ones show two lines for me, and it wasn't even early morning; it was mid-afternoon.
By the time I actually get there, all the secrets will have already been spilled 😬
Secundo said:Those questions should really be open-ended—something like, "In the last three months, have you been in any high-risk situations for HIV transmission?" followed by a list of potential scenarios.

Look, Secundo, in this day and age, that kind of checklist would turn into a five-pound stack of paperwork—and let's be honest, the American healthcare system isn't exactly swimming in extra cash to deal with that overhead.😬
Not nearly enough—mostly because I’ve been tearing through this forum like a whirlwind 😉
Oh, sure, as if they’d actually step up to help people again—instead, most of our funding just gets swallowed up by immunology research and testing reagents.
And maybe we’ll just get a little wicked and expose to the whole damn world exactly where all that donated blood money is actually flowing 😈
So you’re telling me you ripped your glove and caught some kind of illness on the job? Honestly, talk about a stroke of luck—and by luck, I mean a total disaster. Here I was thinking my life was a struggle, but clearly, I’ve been living in a fantasy land compared to you.
Susan Martin24 said:I wish I could say that—at least then I'd know I caught some actual disease while out having fun, rather than picking up something while trying to patch together some broken, high-as-a-kite junkie's mess when my glove ripped 🙄

Good grief, are you being for real right now or just messing with me?😕
Anthony Kim18 said:In my opinion, we shouldn't allow certain high-risk groups to donate blood.
The risk involved would just be way too high.

Look, everyone is on board with that principle—the actual debate here is trying to nail down who actually qualifies as a "high-risk group" in practice.
So, my Type 1 diabetes is currently telling me that he’s been donating blood pretty regularly—just on his off days, obviously—and hasn't had to sign any special waivers or declarations. Since when did they start requiring those? Does anyone actually remember when that became a thing?
Susan Martin24 said:My partner and I have used condoms our entire relationship for this exact reason—I can never honestly say I'm 100% certain I don't have HIV or Hepatitis C (though I am vaccinated for Hep B).👎

Maybe just stop being so promiscuous and you won't have to worry about it.😉
Susan Martin24 said:- an encounter with a sex worker - what if you take a shot at someone without realizing they're working? 😈

Oh, you’ll know—trust me—the second they spit in your face after the job is done. 😬
Raymond James said:Plus, don't you think it’s just ridiculous—being barred from donating blood for the rest of your life simply because you had a sexual encounter with someone of the same gender once?

Look, if you go through a same-sex partner first and then move on to someone of the opposite sex, you aren't just being promiscuous—you're being indecisive.😬

I have a feeling there’s a whole saga hiding behind this question—so come on, spill!
And no, you don't have to go to the ER based on where you live; I've honestly never heard of anyone being forced to do that.

Too bad hospitals in NYC haven't moved on to water births or birthing stools yet—we’re still stuck with the classic routine.

Supposedly they’re going to bring it back because the equipment is just sitting there—it’s just that nobody actually knows how to use it.🙄

I was just visiting Aunt Grujic—the one over in 👍—and she really is lovely, though I’d already gone ahead and paid out of pocket for my Adenza coverage 😉.
Now I’m hanging out with Aunt Mihalincic in [[Generic US City]]—because apparently, Adenza doesn't cover everything, damn it—so I’m curious about her expertise. I'll likely be seeing her for my pregnancy care too

I actually just switched doctors because I could rarely ever manage to beat the crowd to a spot in line👎
