okay, but I don't want flowers. my wedding has a strict "no floral arrangements" rule😁 , I just want greenery...

yeah, sure, that sounds lovely too. but i actually need some nice leaves... maybe a bunch of them.

anyone got any ideas for cake decorations? looking for something strictly natural... and I don't mean flowers. thinking more along the lines of leaves from plants, trees, shrubs, whatever... just please, no ivy.

So, since you brought up that foot massage... could you give me a quick breakdown of which parts of the foot actually get worked on and how they go about doing it?

Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up those little sugar packets? Doesn't have to be here in Indianapolis, I wouldn't mind ordering them from somewhere else if that's easier. Ideally looking for those long ones? Brown sugar works too, I guess...

Yeah, that’s exactly what I meant by the whole treatment... I didn't mean they were poking around on me for twenty minutes.😲 >>20div>

Wait, you're stuck in there for twenty minutes? By the time you finish, I'll probably be halfway through my own exam!

Roger Morgan2 said:Hey everyone. I'm using these Yasmine pills for the first time. I started them right away, following the instructions to a T. But, a few days after my period ended, I started getting daily bleeding and this constant itching. On top of that, my appetite is through the roof and I’ve been feeling pretty depressed. Should I stick with them or just call it quits? I have 6 pills left. 😕 Thanks for any help

honestly, you should probably just check with your OBGYN about that

Brian Reed74 said:Did you maybe check out that Miscellaneous showroom over on the loop?

Honestly, I’ve swung by there maybe three times and walked away empty-handed every single time. Their hours are just... insane. They’re constantly changing them. Now apparently they’re doing double shifts? Doesn't work for my schedule at all, so I’m done with them. Just went ahead and bought my own fabric for the dress instead.

Brian Reed74 said:Where'd you find the stuff for the invitations and confetti? That's pretty much everything for now—if I think of anything else, I'll hit you up.

If you want the best paper selection for those invites, head to Walmart over in the Aaron Copland district—it’s that neighborhood right behind the Olivia shop (near the block center). It's this big glass storefront that sells computer gear and office supplies. I actually picked up my invitation materials in New York City, but I grabbed a little something from them too.

Brian Reed74 said:I’m trying to figure out what’s actually available in Indianapolis—like, where can I find everything from balloons and bows to candles, wrapping paper, or mason jars? Does anyone know a local potter or candle maker who does custom work? Also looking for invitations, thank-you notes, bands, cake toppers... basically anything else a wedding needs that I haven't even thought of yet.
Basically, any tips or recommendations would be huge.😉

Honestly, I’d probably be interested in the candle situation too. Or maybe just a spot that stocks a ton of different colors and sizes if you don't want to go custom.
By the way, I noticed down at the Target on the bottom floor (way back there behind the knitting aisle), they actually have a pretty decent selection of wedding decor and little trinkets, even stuff for the dessert table. They just don't really have any cute candles.😢

Maybe that’s exactly why you need to go to those kinds of disgraced doctors. They’ll definitely be more careful after a mess like that, right?

That doc was the one who ran the tests for me, but I haven't even made it to see the specialist yet.

Lisa Richardson8 said:My OB-GYN told me they aren't even related, anyway. Plus, my fibroadenoma hasn't changed at all—it grows maybe like a millimeter every two years or something—so I'm fine without them. 😁

Honestly, my doctor is either totally old-school—like, "get pregnant" or "stop taking birth control"—or he just gives the weirdest advice. Not that I actually listen to him, obviously. 😛
Fibroadenoma: What should I know? in Health ·
Lisa Richardson8 said:They aren't. I'm on birth control and have this one fibroadenoma that just isn't growing. And my doctor actually told me there's zero connection between the two 🙂

I don't know, everyone’s got their own way of doing things, I guess... but my ultrasound tech suggested I might need to ditch the pill, though they said I should check with my OB-GYN first to see what she thinks. So how is there "no connection"? Honestly, nothing makes sense anymore. 😕

gentlewolf4 said:Last summer, I felt a little lump and it turned out to be a fibroadenoma. It was about 0.6 inches at the time, and they told me there was no need to have it removed until I got pregnant—apparently, they start growing faster once you're expecting.

My doctor actually told me the best thing for cysts and fibroadenomas is to just get pregnant... which, let's be real, isn't exactly a medical cure. 🙄So now I'm confused. One person tells you they grow during pregnancy, and my doc says they disappear? How does that even work?

On my ultrasound, they found at least five of these things—cysts and fibroadenomas. I managed to feel one tiny one, maybe 0.25 inches, but the others were nearly twice that size and I didn't feel them at all. My doctor was honestly baffled that I hadn't noticed them.

Does anyone know if birth control pills are a bad idea when dealing with stuff like this?

Megan Lopez4 said:What exactly are we looking at here? I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Was there something specific you wanted to talk about? Wait, is there actually more to this? Like, is there something else lurking in here that I'm missing?

Wait, I’m lost... what are you even talking about? I don't get your post at all.
Megan Lopez4 said:Word on the street is they only let us take one of those per year. Just one. Is that for real? Seems a bit stingy, doesn't it?

Are you actually trying to say you have a right to... what, exactly? Like, seriously? Just throwing that out there without any context? It’s kind of a bold move, don't you think? Just standing there, making claims like that, without even finishing the thought. What does that even mean in this situation? Is it about being entitled, or are we talking about some actual, legitimate claim to something? I guess it depends on how you look at it, doesn't it? Just a thought. Everything. One vacation a year? Seriously? Is that really enough to keep anyone sane in this day and age? I mean, sure, if you're just looking to check a box and say you "saw some things," maybe one big trip every twelve months does the trick. But for me? It feels like barely scratching the surface. You spend half the time planning it, another chunk of time actually traveling, and then you’re back to the grind before you’ve even processed what happened. One shot at escaping the daily loop once a year... feels a bit thin, doesn't it?

He actually answers every single question you throw at him. Super approachable. After bouncing between a bunch of female OB-GYNs, I wasn't even sure about seeing a male doctor, but he totally caught me off guard in a good way. I mean, damn, he sees this stuff all day, right? It’s no big deal... is it? Makes me wonder what it's like for their wives though. Surely they get bored of hearing about... well, you know.
