I suppose I need some assistance regarding my older kids. Not help in the traditional sense, per se, but rather someone to take them out for walks, to the park, or maybe the beach. I just feel bad having them stuck indoors with me 24/7
I suppose I thought nothing could actually get under my skin. Apparently, I was wrong. Someone parked way too close to my car, so I ended up washing the entire thing while wearing a white t-shirt, just as I was walking up to the door and climbing inside. 🤣 🤣
I went in for blood work this morning, and a pregnant woman arrived to take her glucose test.
She walked up to the counter with this ice-cold attitude and just asked, "I'm pregnant, do I get priority?" The clerk froze, and the rest of the patients were just stunned.
I suppose I should give her credit, though—she’s certainly given me some inspiration for how to skip the line next time.😉
Nothing really gets under my skin; I tend to be indifferent toward comments.
But he was actually quite annoyed. At the grocery store, the cashier asked him what we were having, even though she’d already grilled me about it dozens of times and knows ☕. He just said it's a girl, and she replied that it doesn't matter, as long as the baby is healthy and safe 😂.
If you could have seen his face. Honestly, he looked more shocked than any pregnant woman facing a comment like that. I suppose people just lack boundaries sometimes 🤣 🤣.
Maybe don't test just yet, since I'm not scheduled to arrive until November 8th. I suppose it might be better to wait for that date, then perhaps run the test two or three days later.

But then there was this one day during a checkup... I'm sitting there for forty minutes, listening to other women being called in way before me, and they haven't even shown up yet. I have no clue what the protocol is here—do I speak up or just sit there like an idiot until they call my name? Finally, some lady tells me to go talk to the nurse. So I walk up to the door, say "Excuse me," and the nurse just glances down at my stomach. Pregnant. Suddenly, everything is magically sorted out.🤣

Lately, my relatives have been driving me absolutely crazy. It's those people who act like they’re morally obligated to buy a mountain of baby gear. Personally, I don't expect a single thing from anyone.
Now the interrogation has started: "What do you need?" And I tell them, "Nothing. We've had everything we need bought for ages." And then comes the guilt trip: "Oh my goodness, you're so prepared! You didn't leave us anything to buy! What are we supposed to do now?!"🙂
☕Yeah, maybe I should have waited two weeks before checking in so someone would actually ask what I needed. If I had, I probably wouldn't have had any of this stuff ready to go by now.

Well, I suppose that makes sense; it seems like everyone is pregnant these days.🤣
I was there maybe two weeks ago. I expected a huge crowd, but it was just me and one other woman. I didn't even have time to find parking at Target before I was already done.
People have already been predicting I'm having a boy—I'm 8 weeks along😵

About 2 months 🤔

Given how much stress my husband was under at work, I suppose it’s a bit surprising he managed to conceive from the second 🤣

The second child 🤔 maybe after the New Year 👍
Robin Lopez54 said:So, how am I supposed to know which test to pick or when to actually take it? I see some girls here mentioning when they did their tests and how long they had to wait... but I had sex just two days ago...

I suppose any standard pregnancy test from CVS or Walgreens would work; most are pretty reliable. You might want to wait until the day your period is due, or perhaps a day or two after that using your first morning urine.👍
I suppose it might be more wishful thinking than actual pregnancy... If you are, then that’s great 🎉 But I guess any symptom could just be premenstrual signs you hadn't noticed before
It probably makes sense to wait until your period is actually due, or maybe shortly after, before taking a test or seeing a doctor in New York City.
What should I get for a godparent gift at a Baptism? in Students & Teens ·
My partner acted as best man this weekend and picked up a watch from $500, which I think was perhaps a bit excessive... but, well, it is what it is
I simply told him to wear it so the cost wouldn't go to waste. Thank God he actually wears it 🙏
When I had my own crisis seven years ago, I received a ring that I absolutely loved; I wore it constantly. I don't anymore, as I've stopped wearing jewelry altogether (except for my wedding 😍)
Joshua Clark said:I can't take this anymore. I went to grab a test only to realize it was already ten to eight at night... so now I have to wait until tomorrow. But there's no way I can sit around waiting for the morning shift either—fingers crossed there's a decent afternoon one available.

Don't worry, I used an afternoon sample once too. It took maybe two seconds to get a result.🤣
Perhaps it would be best to just ask them directly.

Any thoughts on how I can figure out if she's actually screwing me over or what? Honestly, my mind is a total blank right now.

Strip her down😕 I guess that's your only option... surely you aren't going to go digging through the trash looking for pads.😕

I was honestly stunned myself. I actually asked the woman if she was joking. 😂 Then she just gave me some line about how there was a massive rush on testing today. 🤣 I'm not buying it for a second.

😂 and people swarmed 🙂

The only thing I haven't quite decided yet is whether or not I actually want to tag along with my friend who just found out she's pregnant. 😕

Go ahead, 😘

Maybe it’s just subconscious, since you’re hoping to stay pregnant.
But mostly, I'm pulling for you. 👍
