It’s all good, I did a quick search online and managed to track down what I needed. brisknomad6, thanks for getting back to me!

So, you mean I can just show up and they'll give me the pill or pills right then and there? I honestly thought the whole process would be way more complicated than that. Which hospitals actually have a dedicated OB/GYN emergency unit?
Hey everyone, could someone point me toward a reliable gynecologist or OB-GYN covered by my insurance? I’m looking for somewhere where I can potentially walk in without an appointment without running into major issues, or at least a place where the wait times aren't absolutely brutal. Ideally, I'd love to stay in downtown Chicago, preferably a female specialist, but I'm totally open to seeing a male doctor too if they're good.

🤔
I’ll tear open the pack, pop one piece in, and chew away for maybe thirty seconds before adding another one... then I just keep going... eventually, I get bored and toss it out. After about twenty minutes or so, I’ll stuff two pieces in at once, chew for ten minutes, spit them out... and then start the whole cycle all over again. Before I know it, the pack is empty 😬 which is the real problem—the flavor is so good, but it vanishes way too fast 🙄 just thought I’d add my two cents to the thread 👋
Personally, I tend to just keep stuffing pieces in rather than throwing them out. But once I hit about seven pieces, my jaw starts acting up, so that's when I finally call it quits. Then, I just start the whole process from scratch. 😁
I've had this headache dragging on all day. It isn't exactly excruciating, but it's just enough of a nuisance to make studying impossible, and I really need to get some work done. I took some Motrin about an hour ago, but it hasn't touched it. I managed to catch a quick nap this afternoon, but the pain is still hanging around. Any ideas on what I should do? I'm also running a bit of a fever, and I really need to get it under control by tomorrow. Does anyone have any advice?
Symptoms: Gonorrhea is an acute infection that primarily targets the mucous membranes in the urethra, cervix, rectum, throat, and eyes. Unlike many other STIs, it tends to hit men harder and more visibly at first. For guys, you’re looking at intense burning during urination, cloudy urine, significant pain, and a thick, purulent discharge. In women, the symptoms can be much more subtle and develop gradually. Sometimes, it might just feel like minor discomfort or a slight sting when you pee. However, once inflammation sets in around the cervix, it often leads to a heavy, yellowish-green discharge. Things like menstruation or having an IUD can actually make it easier for the infection to spread upward toward the uterus. If the infection reaches the fallopian tubes, it can trigger Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), which brings on lower abdominal pain, increased vaginal discharge, painful intercourse, general malaise, nausea, vomiting, irregular bleeding, or even a fever. If left untreated and allowed to spread further, the bacteria can cause joint inflammation—most commonly affecting the knees (gonarthritis)—as well as widespread skin rashes, and in very rare cases, meningitis, liver inflammation, or endocarditis. Diagnosing gonorrhea usually requires more than just a standard pelvic exam. It's quite rare to spot the gonococci under a microscope using a simple wet mount. Instead, doctors typically rely on swabs for bacterial cultures, or occasionally more specialized methods like immunofluorescence or indirect hemagglutination tests.
Over the last few days, I’ve noticed this brownish, pretty thick discharge. It actually started out as just a tiny bit of spotting, and then it transitioned into this brown discharge. Any idea what might be going on here? To give you a little more context, I was dealing with some intense itching about a week ago, but that finally cleared up and hasn't come back. (The discharge started right after the itching stopped.)
I honestly don't think anything is going to happen; it's just purified water. But hey, I can't make any promises (just in case it turns out that Emily Phillips16 actually took out Charles Thompson12 😁 )
Honestly, if you put in a little effort, I’m pretty sure you’ll track down someone who specializes in that. 🙄 There are definitely people out there; I personally know plenty of folks who have tried acupuncture or experimented with different herbal teas and stuff like that.
