It wasn't anything special for me. By the end, it felt way too over-the-top, just packed with too many cheesy tropes for my taste. I think they messed up the editing; it would have hit much harder if it were trimmed down by maybe thirty minutes. And honestly, it doesn't deserve a spot in the IMDb Top 250—anyone can vote on that site, after all.
Shaun of the Dead is better.
Shout out to all the amazing staff over at Charlie Videtici in Vincennes
They’re simply the best
Underground. This movie holds its own against any Hollywood blockbuster. It’s easily one of the greatest cinematic moments from outside the US.
Apologies for the kung-fu comparison. It’s just a simple little film that totally blew me away.
There’s more where that came from, but those two were the first ones that popped into my head.
Sweet November (2001)

I didn't cry, but I definitely came close.
A Perfect World (1993)

This one hits just as hard.
Haven't seen this one in ages. It’s a solid flick, nothing more and nothing less. Definitely has its creepy moments. That veteran Gene Rowlands really caught me off guard—great performance.
Benicio Del Toro is just straight-up cool.
Kenny from South Park.
Look, life is way too short to waste on this kind of nonsense. The whole point is to spend your days doing what actually makes you happy—whether that’s gaming, watching movies, sports, or music. It doesn't matter. Society tries to police certain things because of past mistakes, creating rules that end up stripping away all the fun. Just do your thing. Your spirit matters more than those moods that try to dictate how you feel. Moods are just chemistry—basically artificial. For instance, when I'm feeling down, lonely, or hopeless, I just treat it like a phase. It's like dealing with an annoying neighbor who won't leave you alone; you just wait it out. Life is honestly just one big cosmic joke that higher powers are laughing at. And this obsession with going out? I don't get it. Back in the day, you couldn't call yourself a witch or say you were following someone, but today, if you don't head downtown on a Saturday night, people act like you're a total outcast. What is wrong with everyone lately? Is everyone really this shallow? Nobody stops to think about the heavy baggage they're carrying around. Prejudices have absolutely wrecked the world.
The hippie generation understood this perfectly
